Barnes Cray is an area in south-east London within the London Borough of Bexley. It is located on the Greater London border with Kent, bordering the Dartford Borough. It is located north west of Dartford.

Slade Green Depot is a major railway depot in Slade Green, South East London. The depot is situated south of Slade Green railway station.

Crayford was a local government district in north west Kent from 1920 to 1965 around the town of Crayford. As well as Crayford, it included Barnehurst, Barnes Cray and Slade Green. It was created an urban district in 1920 from part of Dartford Rural District. It acquired an early 20th century building that had been used by Vickers as a canteen and converted it into Crayford Town Hall in 1929.In 1965 it was abolished by the London Government Act 1963 and its former area was combined with that of other districts to form the London Borough of Bexley.

Erith and Crayford was a constituency which returned one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons of the UK's Parliament. It was created for the 1955 general election, and abolished for the 1997 general election, when it was replaced by the new constituencies of Erith & Thamesmead and Bexleyheath & Crayford. For its final 32 years it was in the London Borough of Bexley, south-east London but for its first ten years instead in Kent, divided among two council districts, below the higher tier of Kent County Council.

Slade Green railway station is in the London Borough of Bexley, southeast London, on the North Kent Line. It is 15 miles 30 chains (24.7 km) measured from London Charing Cross. The station was built in 1900 to serve the developing community. It opened as "Slades Green" and it was not until 1953 that this was changed to Slade Green. There was a level crossing across the tracks at the south end of the station but this and the signal box closed in November 1970 when the line was resignalled. As of 2019 the station and trains serving it are operated by Southeastern and Thameslink.

Crayford Town Hall is a former municipal building in Crayford Road, Crayford, London, England. The structure, which was formerly the offices and meeting place of Crayford Urban District Council, is a locally listed building.

Crayford was in the historic county of Kent until 1965. The settlement developed by the river Cray, around a ford that is no longer used.

Slade Green is an area of South East London, England, within the London Borough of Bexley. It lies northeast of Bexleyheath, northwest of Dartford and south of Erith, and 14 miles (23 km) east-southeast of Charing Cross. Historically Slade Green was part of the county of Kent. In 1965 it became part of the new ceremonial county of Greater London.

Noviomagus, also known as Noviomagus Cantiacorum (Latin for "Noviomagus of the Cantiaci") to distinguish it from other places with that name, was a Roman settlement in southeastern Britain. It is named on Iter II of the Antonine Itinerary, ten Roman miles from Londinium and nineteen to Vagniacis, thence nine miles to Durobrivae. Its location has been given as modern Crayford, but is now suggested to be near West Wickham following excavation of the Roman site there; the distances also fit West Wickham better than Crayford.Thousands of sherds of pottery and hundreds of Roman coins have been found near West Wickham, but only slight evidence of housing. The main activity at the site in the Roman period may have been trading in an open-air market, rather than settlement.

Slade Green F.C. was a football club based in Slade Green in the London Borough of Bexley, England. They were established in 1946 and played in the Kent League from 1970 until 2009 when the club folded.

Crayford railway station is in the London Borough of Bexley in south-east London, in Travelcard Zone 6. It is 15 miles 25 chains (24.6 km) down the line from London Charing Cross. The station and all trains serving it are operated by Southeastern. Down trains run eastbound to Dartford, Gravesend and to London Cannon Street via Slade Green, and up trains run westbound to Cannon Street and London Charing Cross via Lewisham. Ticket barriers are in operation.
