Northern Line Embankment, High Barnet

Greenhill Gardens is a 1.6 hectare public park in New Barnet in the London Borough of Barnet. Its main feature is an ornamental lake with a wooded island, which attracts many birds, and it also has a grassed area with scattered mature trees. It is a site of local importance for nature conservation.It was created from part of the former Greenhill estate, the rest of which was developed for housing in the twentieth century. In July 1926 East Barnet Council purchased the land which is now a public park for £20,000. In 1965 East Barnet became part of the London Borough of Barnet, which now owns and manages the park.There is access from Pricklers Hill and Greenhill Park.

Willenhall House was a house and estate located to the south of Chipping Barnet, on the borders of Hertfordshire and Middlesex, in what is now north London. It was designed by John Buonarotti Papworth in 1829 for the East Indies merchant Thomas Wyatt to replace an existing house on a piece of land that was once part of the ancient Pricklers (later Greenhill) estate. Wyatt named it after Willenhall in the English West Midlands, the place of his birth. The house was demolished in 1890 and the site developed for housing over the following decades.

The Odeon Cinema, Great North Road, in the London Borough of Barnet is a grade II listed building. In 2015, the cinema was one of four purchased from Odeon by Everyman Cinemas.The cinema opened in 1935 and closed on 12 July 2015. It reopened as an Everyman Cinema later in 2015. There is a bus stop named after it (Barnet Everyman, previously Barnet Odeon) served by London Bus Routes 34, 107, 184, 234, 263, 307, 326, 383, 389, and N20

Barnet Fire Station is located in Station Road, New Barnet, London. It was opened in 1993. A previous station in nearby Leicester Road closed in 1992 and was demolished in 2005.

Highlands Gardens is a small park in New Barnet at the western end of Leicester Road, on the corner with Abbotts Road. The park was opened in 1931 in the grounds of Highlands House which was demolished in about 1972 and replaced by flats.

King George V Playing Fields is an area of playing fields of approximately 14 acres in Totteridge in the London Borough of Barnet. It is located south east of the junction of Barnet Lane and Dollis Brook. Following the death of King George V in 1936 the King George's Fields Foundation was established to give grants for the establishment of playing fields, the work of the foundation is now undertaken by charity Fields in Trust. The Totteridge fields were originally the third largest of all King George's Fields at 93 acres, and the Foundation gave a grant of £3,000 towards the total capital cost of £62,335. King George V Playing Fields, Totteridge have been legally protected since July 1943. The rules of the Foundation required permanent preservation of the area as a King George's Field as a memorial to the king, but less than a fifth of the original size remains. The Master Atlas of Greater London shows King George's Fields extending west across Barnet Lane into what is now a farmer's field, and there used to be two 'King George's Fields' logos on stone plinths in the entrance to the field, but in 2012 the plinths were vandalised and the logos removed. North of the current King George's Fields is an area of public open space called Barnet Playing Fields, an area of 72 acres laid out in 1926. It is unclear whether this was ever part of King George's Fields.

Underhill Stadium was a stadium in Chipping Barnet, London, that was the home of Barnet Football Club between 1907 and 2013. It has been the training ground of the London Broncos rugby league club since 2014; the club's under-19 team also play their fixtures there. Before being demolished the stadium was recorded as having a final capacity of 6,023. The stadium was famous for its slope from the North to South end. It was also used for Arsenal reserve games until 2012. Barnet played their final game at the stadium on 20 April 2013 with a 1–0 win over Wycombe Wanderers, with Jake Hyde scoring the winner in the 81st minute, and Graham Stack saving a 94th-minute penalty to secure the victory in front of a sell-out crowd of 6,001. Barnet moved out of the ground and started their 2013–14 season campaign at The Hive Stadium in Edgware. Demolition of Underhill began in January 2018.

St John's United Reformed Church is a church in New Barnet, London. The church was formed by a union of St Augustine's Presbyterian Church and New Barnet Congregational Church in 1963.The church has a distinctive modern design that was influenced by the membership of Jon Finlayson ARIBA. It won an award from the Civic Trust in 1970. The redevelopment of the site was funded partly from the sale of the old New Barnet Congregational Church site in nearby Station Road around 1967.

Chipping Barnet is a constituency created in 1974 represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2005 by Theresa Villiers of the Conservative Party. Villiers was the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland from 2012 until 2016 under the leadership of Prime Minister David Cameron before she was dismissed when the incoming Prime Minister Theresa May took office. Boris Johnson appointed her as Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in July 2019 before she was sacked in February 2020. It is part of the London Borough of Barnet.
