Beaverton School District

Merlo Station High School is a public high school located in Beaverton, Oregon, United States, which is part of the Beaverton School District (BSD). It is considered an "options" high school, meaning that it houses several different scholarly magnet programs that differ from "traditional" high schools. This allows Merlo Station to meet the many different needs of all its students. The school opened in 1993. One of the option schools that had been at Merlo Station campus since its opening in 1993, the School of Science and Technology, moved at the end of 2015 to a different site, shared with BSD's Health & Science School.

Elmonica/Southwest 170th Avenue is a light rail station on the MAX Blue Line in Beaverton, Oregon, United States. Named after a former station on the Oregon Electric Railway, it is the eleventh stop westbound on the Westside MAX. The side platform stop is located between Hillsboro to the west and Beaverton to the east.

Merlo Road/Southwest 158th Avenue is a light rail station on the MAX Blue Line in Beaverton, Oregon, United States. It is the 10th stop westbound on the Westside MAX. Located to the south of the station is Merlo Garage used by TriMet buses and a paved path into Tualatin Hills Nature Park. It is also the primary transit stop for students attending Merlo Station High School. It is also a short walk to the Nike World campus, and the H.M. Terpenning Recreational center. In March 2011, TriMet received a federal grant to pay for the installation of security cameras at the station.

The Tualatin Hills Nature Park is a 222-acre nature park and wildlife preserve in Beaverton, Oregon, owned by the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD). It is one of THPRD's two nature parks along with Cooper Mountain Nature Park. The park features 5 miles (8 km) of trails, of which 1.5 miles are paved and 3.5 miles unpaved. The park features a diverse environment including several types of both evergreen and deciduous trees as well as creeks, wetlands, ponds, and meadows. Located on 15655 S.W. Millikan Way, at the main entrance to the park, is the Tualatin Hills Nature Center, formerly called the Tualatin Hills Nature Park Interpretive Center. The name was changed in November 2014. Nature supervisor Kristin Atman said that "six words is really a mouthful" and the new name would be more consistent with THPRD's other facilities.

Elmonica is an unincorporated community in Washington County, Oregon, United States. The community is named for a station on the old Oregon Electric Railway, derived from the names of the daughters of an owner of land along the route.Samuel B. Stoy, a Portland insurance executive, owned property along the proposed OE line and only gave permission for the railroad to go through his property if the company agreed to name the station after his daughters, Eleanor and Monica. After the station was named Elmonica, this then led to the area around the station becoming known as Elmonica as well.

Oyatsupan Bakers, or simply Oyatsupan, is a Japanese bakery in the U.S. state of Oregon. The original bakery opened in Beaverton in 2016, and second location opened in Tigard in 2019.

Huber is an unincorporated community in Washington County, Oregon, United States, now mostly located within Aloha near the Tualatin Hills Nature Park.

The M. E. Blanton House is a two-and-a-half-story Craftsman style historic building in the community of Aloha in the U.S. state of Oregon. Built in 1912, it is situated along Southwest 170th Avenue less than a block south of Tualatin Valley Highway. The interior of the 3,000-square-foot (280 m2) house is of the Arts and Crafts style. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989 and is used as a law office.

Beaverton Creek is a light rail station on the MAX Blue Line in Beaverton, Oregon, United States. It is the 9th stop westbound on the Westside MAX. The station is located near parkland, which is near the Nike World Campus. Retained at the station's crosswalk to the platform are remnants of a railroad spur, once used to serve light industrial customers and to deliver MAX vehicles. Nike operates its own fleet of shuttle buses, all running on biodiesel, to its world headquarters and nearby satellite offices. Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) is a special parks district located in the eastern part of Washington County in the U.S. state of Oregon. Created in 1955, the district covers all of the city of Beaverton and many of those communities surrounding Beaverton in the Portland metropolitan area. The district covers an area of 50 square miles (130 km2) and serves a population of about 220,000, making it the largest parks district in Oregon. Tualatin Hills operates over 200 facilities totaling 2,100 acres (850 ha), including eight swimming centers. The district has an annual budget of $40 million and is overseen by a five-person board of directors.

The Howard M. Terpenning Recreation Complex, often called the Terpenning Recreation Complex or simply the THPRD recreation complex, is a 92-acre recreation complex in Beaverton, Oregon. It is owned and operated by the Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District (THPRD) and serves as the location of the district's administrative offices. The complex, in addition to the administrative offices, houses an indoor Olympic swimming pool, a tennis center, an athletic center, and several sports fields, as well as a natural area. Approximately 650,000 people visit the complex every year.
