Saugūniškės

Maišiagala is a historic town in Vilnius district municipality, Lithuania. It is located about 17 km (11 mi) northwest of Vilnius city municipality near the Vilnius–Panevėžys highway. According to the 2021 census, it had a population of 1 562, a decrease from 1,636, registered at the 2011 census.

Sudervė is one of the oldest villages in Vilnius District Municipality, Lithuania, it is located only about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) west of Vilnius city municipality. It is located just north of Vilnius, on the road from Vilnius to Kernavė and is the center of Sudervė eldership. At the 2011 census, the village had a population of 523 and grew to 588 as of 2021 census. That was an increase from the 1989 census which recorded the population of 393 inhabitants.

Rastinėnai is a village in Vilnius district municipality, Lithuania, a suburb of Vilnius. Formerly famous as collective gardening settlement during Lithuanian SSR times, after privatization and transformation into the suburban settlement, it had population of 556 as according to the 2011 census, up from 95 in 1970 and 321 in 2001.

Vaigeliškės (Polish: Wojgieliszki) is a village in Vilnius district municipality, Lithuania. It is located about 23 km (14 mi) northwest of Vilnius. According to the 2011 census, it had population of 37.

Jauniūnai is a village in the Širvintos District Municipality, Lithuania. It is near the A2 highway and European route E272. It had 185 residents at the time of the 2001 census.Jauniūnai has a natural gas compression station, which is why the village was selected as the terminus of the planned Lithuania–Poland pipeline.

Dūkštos is a village in Vilnius District Municipality, Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the village had a population of 311 people, up from 164 in 1979.

Geisiškės is a village located near Kernavė town in the Vilnius District Municipality. According to the census of 2011, the village has a population of 286, an increase from 248, counted by the 2001 census. Most of the inhabitants of Geisiškės are of Ukrainian descent. Together with the nearby Airėnai I and Airėnai II villages, it forms an Eastern Orthodox enclave in a Catholic countryside.

Šilėnai is an ethnographic village (ethnographic cultural reserve) located in the Vilnius District Municipality. It is part of the Neris Regional Park. According to the census of 2011, the village has a population of 90, a decrease from 211, counted by the 1970 census. Šilėnai village is known from historical sources from 1500 when it was donated by the Grand Duke of Lithuania Alexander to the bishops of Vilnius. A wooden church, which survived to our days, was built in 1725.

Airėnai II is a village located in the Vilnius District Municipality. It is part of the Neris Regional Park. According to the census of 2011, the village has a population of 110, a decrease from 257 in 1959. Airėnai I village is located nearby.

Bendoriai is an old village in Avižieniai Eldership, Vilnius District Municipality, Lithuania. It is located just north of Vilnius, on the old road Vilnius–Ukmergė, intergrown with Klevinė. At the 2021 census, the village had a population of 943, an increase compared to 2011 census, when 764 inhabitants were counted. That was 345% increase compared to 1989 census which recorded the population of 212 inhabitants. The only in Lithuania wooden memorial for Soviet soldiers is situated in Bendoriai. There is a horse farm in the village. Bendoriai belongs to the suburban belt of Vilnius, which faces unprecedented growth during the last 20 years. New houses are being built in the village for newcomer residents from Vilnius. Vilnius city bus number 87 connects the area with the capital city.

Klevinė is a village in Avižieniai Eldership, Vilnius District Municipality, Lithuania. It is located just north of Vilnius, on the old road Vilnius–Ukmergė, intergrown with Bendoriai. At the 2021 census, the village had a population of 931, an increase, compared to 2011 census, which recorded 426 inhabitants. That was an increase from the 2001 census which recorded the population of only 14. This means, that in 20 years, the number of population of Klevinė grew 6650% or on average – 333% a year. Klevinė belongs to the suburban belt of Vilnius, which faces unprecedented growth during the last two decades. Rows of semi-detached houses as well as stand-alone houses are being built in the village for newcomer residents from Vilnius.

Avižieniai [avʲɪ'ʒʲɪenʲɪai] is a village in Vilnius District Municipality, Lithuania, 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) west of the A2 Vilnius-Panevėžys highway. The village had a population of 2,125 as of 2011, which grew to 2,318 inhabitants in 2021 (according to the national census results) and is a centre of Avižieniai Eldership. During the Soviet period, a gardening farm (specialized kolkhoz) was formed in Avižieniai, which territorially also covered what is now Fabijoniškės and Pašilaičiai microdistricts in Vilnius. Avižieniai is famous for its manufacturing: motor vehicle bus manufacturer – ALTAS komercinis transportas with more than 200 employees, smaller steel furniture factory and other industry.
