Ōfuna Kannon

Ōfuna Station (Japanese: 大船駅, Japanese pronunciation: [Ōfuna-eki]) is a railway station in Kamakura, Kanagawa, Japan, operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

Fujimichō Station (富士見町駅, Fujimichō-eki) is a monorail train station on the Shōnan Monorail Enoshima Line located in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It is located 0.9 kilometers from the northern terminus of the Shōnan Monorail Enoshima Line at Ōfuna Station.

The Kanagawa Prefectural Ofuna Botanical Garden (神奈川県立フラワーセンター 大船植物園, Kanagawa Kenritsu Furawāsentā Ōfuna Shokubutsuen) is a botanical garden located at 1018 Okamoto, Kamakura, Kanagawa, Japan. It is open daily except Mondays; an admission fee is charged. The garden was founded in 1961 as the Prefectural Flower Center Ofuna Botanical Garden on a former site of the Kanagawa National Agricultural Experiment Stations. It currently contains about 5,700 species with notable collections of Azalea, Camellia, Iris kaempferi, Paeonia suffruticosa, Paeonia lactiflora, and Selaginella tamariscina.

Eiko Gakuen (Japanese: 栄光学園中学高等学校, romanized: Eiko Gakuen Chūgaku Kōtōgakkō) is a private Catholic junior and senior high school for boys, located in Tamanawa, Kamakura, in the Kanagawa Prefecture of Japan. The school was founded in 1947 by the Society of Jesus. The school's patron saint is the Jesui Aloysius Gonzaga, and the motto is taken from that of the Jesuits: Latin: Ad maiorem Dei gloriam, translated as "for the greater glory of God."

The Ōfuna Camp (大船収容所, Ōfuna shūyōsho) was an Imperial Japanese Navy installation located in Kamakura, outside Yokohama, Japan during World War II, where high-value enlisted and officers, particularly pilots and submariner prisoners of war were incarcerated and interrogated by Japanese naval intelligence. Richard O'Kane, Louis Zamperini and Gregory Boyington were among the prisoners held at Ōfuna.

Yamanouchi (山ノ内 or 山之内) is a neighborhood of Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Because of the presence of East Japan Railway Company's (JR) Kita-Kamakura Station, it is better known as Kita-Kamakura. It lies within the Ofuna administrative subdivision of the city of Kamakura.

Zuirokusan Engaku Kōshō Zenji (瑞鹿山円覚興聖禅寺), or Engaku-ji (円覚寺), is one of the most important Zen Buddhist temple complexes in Japan and is ranked second among Kamakura's Five Mountains. It is situated in the city of Kamakura, in Kanagawa Prefecture to the south of Tokyo. Founded in 1282 (Kamakura period, the temple maintains the classical Japanese Zen monastic design, and both the Shariden and the Great Bell (大鐘, Ogane) are designated National Treasures. Engaku-ji is one of the twenty-two historic sites included in Kamakura's proposal for inclusion in UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. It is located in Kita-Kamakura, very close to Kita-Kamakura Station on the Yokosuka Line, and indeed the railway tracks cut across the formal entrance to the temple compound, which is by a path beside a pond which is crossed by a small bridge.
