The Hamilton-Brown House, in Franklin, Tennessee, also known as the Elijah Hamilton House or as Cottonwood, is a historic two-story brick house that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.It was built between 1792 and c.1800, making it one of the very oldest houses in Williamson County. It originally had a hall-and-parlor plan. A brick one-story east wing was extended in c. 1850 and c. 1940. A one-story brick and log north wing was extended from the east wing in c.1960 and c.1997. When listed the property included four contributing buildings and two contributing sites on an area of 5 acres (2.0 ha).The property is denoted as Williamson County historic resource WM-56.

The Knights of Pythias Pavilion in Franklin, Tennessee, also known as Carlisle House, is a Classical Revival architecture building designed by Henry Gibel and built in 1897. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. According to a 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources, conducted by staff of the Tennessee Historical Commission:An unusual addition to the county's architecture in the 1890s was the Knights of Pythias Pavilion which was moved to a hill west of Franklin (WM-996). The pavilion was originally located on the grounds of the Tennessee Centennial Exposition in Nashville which was held in 1897. It was purchased after the exposition and moved by wagon to its present location off Highway 96. The building is of Neo-Classical design and features a prominent red dome. (page 31) Later the same study describes again:One of the most significant frame residences in the county is the Knights of Pythias Pavilion (WM-996) which was originally constructed in Nashville for the 1897 Centennial Exposition. The pavilion was part of the Centennial complex and after the Exposition came to an end it was purchased and moved to Williamson County. The house has Colonial Revival detailing and a prominent central projecting dome. The house has not been altered and is one of the most unusual designs in the county. (page 43)

The William Boyd House, also known as All Bright Hill, is a c. 1800 double-pen house in Franklin, Tennessee, United States.The W.A. Boyd farm was one of the largest farms or plantations in Williamson County both before and after the American Civil War. After the war, many of these were reduced in size, but the Boyd farm, which included the Boyd Mill and the William Boyd House had 528 acres (214 ha). The house was of log cabin type but was expanded with a two-story colonnade.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. When listed the property included one contributing building and one non-contributing structure on 1 acre (0.40 ha).This house is one of five log buildings built during 1798 to 1800, during the earliest settling of the area, which survive to today. Others, also NRHP-listed, are: the William Ogilvie House, the David McEwen House, the Daniel McMahan House, and the Andrew Crockett House.

The Y. M. Rizer House, also known as Mapleshade, is an Italianate and Second Empire style house dating from c.1874 in Franklin, Tennessee that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.According to a 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources, it is one of a handful of notable, historic Italianate style residences in the county, others being the James Wilhoite House, the John Hunter House, the Owen-Cox House, the Andrew C. Vaughn House, the Henry Pointer House, the Jordan-Williams House, and the Thomas Critz House.When listed the property included one contributing building and one non-contributing structure on an area of 2.2 acres (0.89 ha).

Boyd Mill Ruins is a property in Franklin, Tennessee that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. The mill was built in the early 19th century, powered by the West Harpeth River. The mill was used to produce flour and corn mill for area farmers for more than 50 years. It was one of about a dozen water-powered mills in the county in the 19th century. Around 1900, the mill ceased operation, and was left to fall into ruins. The stone foundations and turbine pit are more intact than any other former mill buildings in the county, providing the best example of the importance of the milling industry within 19th century commerce.The W.A. The William S. Campbell House is a property in Franklin, Tennessee that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was added to the list in 1975. A private residence, it is also known as Magnolia Hall and was built in 1840. It is part of the Boyd Mill Avenue Historic District. William S. Campbell was born in Ireland, and opened a national bank in the area after the American Civil War.The house is of Italianate architecture, and has a cupola and a widow's walk. When listed the property included four contributing buildings. The listing is for an area of 12 acres (4.9 ha).It is located on TN 96 west of the downtown area.

The Boyd–Wilson Farm is a 157-acre (64 ha) historic district in Franklin, Tennessee, United States. The circa 1840 farm includes an I-house.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. When listed, it included six contributing buildings, two contributing structures, one contributing site and two non-contributing buildings.The farm's west edge is the West Harpeth River. The property includes the historic Boyd Mill Ruins (separately listed on the National Register).The farmhouse's north, two-story facade was built c.1884 and is of heavy braced frame construction. It has a central hallway and chimneys at its gable ends in what is called an I-house. The chimneys, originally limestone, were modified c.1920 to include brick. It has a two-story portico with four square columns built in 1976 which replaced a one-story portico from c.1884.It was deemed notable as "one of the few historic farms in Williamson County to retain its agricultural integrity from a period in the county's history when agriculture was the basis of prosperity."It is a designated Century Farm. Historic notability of properties of this type was covered in a 1994 study of historic family farms in Middle Tennessee.

Montpier, also known as Nicholas Perkins House, is a two-and-a-half-story brick house built on a stone foundation during 1821–22. It has a gable roof with twin brick chimneys at each gable end. It was built with slave labor. Its original style was Federal, but its facade was modified in the 1859s by addition of a Greek Revival two-tiered portico and a doorway with side lights, corner lights and transom. It was built for Nicholas "Bigbee" Perkins III (1779-1848), of a plantation family. Perkins is notable as the man who recognized Aaron Burr and assisted in Burr's arrest for treason on February 18, 1807.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Craig-Beasley House, also known as Gaines House, is a 2.9-acre (1.2 ha) property in Franklin, Tennessee that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. The listing includes four contributing buildings: a 1916-built American Craftsman-style house and compatible 1953-built outbuildings (a garage/greenhouse, a stable, and a storage shed). It is believed that the house was designed and built by local lumber mill owner and builder J.F. Craig.
