Boyd–Wilson Farm

Boyd Mill Ruins is a property in Franklin, Tennessee that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. The mill was built in the early 19th century, powered by the West Harpeth River. The mill was used to produce flour and corn mill for area farmers for more than 50 years. It was one of about a dozen water-powered mills in the county in the 19th century. Around 1900, the mill ceased operation, and was left to fall into ruins. The stone foundations and turbine pit are more intact than any other former mill buildings in the county, providing the best example of the importance of the milling industry within 19th century commerce.The W.A. Boyd farm was one of the larger farms/plantations in Williamson County before and after the American Civil War. After the war, many of these were reduced in size, but the Boyd farm, which included the Boyd Mill had 528 acres.The 157 acre Boyd-Wilson Farm, a century farm that is now also NRHP-listed, includes the Boyd Mill Ruins.

Most of the village shares a ZIP code with Franklin. The village, located on the Natchez Trace Parkway, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as an historic district.

The William Boyd House, also known as All Bright Hill, is a c. 1800 double-pen house in Franklin, Tennessee, United States.The W.A. Boyd farm was one of the largest farms or plantations in Williamson County both before and after the American Civil War. After the war, many of these were reduced in size, but the Boyd farm, which included the Boyd Mill and the William Boyd House had 528 acres (214 ha). The house was of log cabin type but was expanded with a two-story colonnade.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. When listed the property included one contributing building and one non-contributing structure on 1 acre (0.40 ha).This house is one of five log buildings built during 1798 to 1800, during the earliest settling of the area, which survive to today. Others, also NRHP-listed, are: the William Ogilvie House, the David McEwen House, the Daniel McMahan House, and the Andrew Crockett House.

The John Hunter House, also known as McCullough House, near Franklin, Tennessee is an Italianate style house that was built in 1875. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1988.The NRHP eligibility of this property and others was covered in a 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources. The house was one of relatively few fine brick residences built in Williamson County, Tennessee, besides in Franklin, that were built from 1865 to 1937. Another one, also in Italianate style, is the Andrew Vaughn House, also NRHP-listed. Both "feature arched fenestration and ornate eaves" and had had few changes since, as of the 1988 study.The house was built or has other significance in c. 1875, c. 1890, and c. 1910.The NRHP listing was for an area of 2.8 acres (1.1 ha) with just one contributing building.

Leipers Fork Historic District is a 18-acre (7.3 ha) historic district in Leipers Fork, Tennessee that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. The area has also been known as Benton Town and as Hillsboro.It includes Queen Anne and Bungalow/Craftsman architecture.When listed, the district included 54 contributing buildings and 21 non-contributing buildings. It was built c. 1850. A 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources assessed that this house was one of the "best two-story vernacular I-House examples" in the county; the others highly rated were the William King House, the Alpheus Truett House, the Thomas Brown House, the Beverly Toon House, and the Stokely Davis House.

The Hamilton-Brown House, in Franklin, Tennessee, also known as the Elijah Hamilton House or as Cottonwood, is a historic two-story brick house that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.It was built between 1792 and c.1800, making it one of the very oldest houses in Williamson County. It originally had a hall-and-parlor plan. A brick one-story east wing was extended in c. 1850 and c. 1940. A one-story brick and log north wing was extended from the east wing in c.1960 and c.1997. When listed the property included four contributing buildings and two contributing sites on an area of 5 acres (2.0 ha).The property is denoted as Williamson County historic resource WM-56.
