Old Town, also known as the Thomas Brown House, is a house in Franklin, Tennessee, United States, at the Old Town Archeological Site that was built by Thomas Brown starting in 1846. It is a two-story frame structure built on an "I-House" plan, an example of vernacular architecture showing Greek Revival influences. The Thomas Brown House is among the best two-story vernacular I-house examples in the county (along with the William King House, the Alpheus Truett House, the Claiborne Kinnard House, the Beverly Toon House, and the Stokely Davis House).: 42 It was located on the Harpeth River branch of the Natchez Trace. Singer Jimmy Buffett owned the house in the late 1980s.It is built amidst and named for, Old Town, a village site of Mississippian culture with mounds. It is located near Old Town Bridge, the remains of a Natchez Trace bridge.

The Stokely Davis House (also known as Fairmount) was built in 1850 and included Italianate architecture and Greek Revival architecture. The house was among the best two-story vernacular I-house examples in the county (along with William King House, Alpheus Truett House, Claiborne Kinnard House, Beverly Toon House, and Old Town, a.k.a. Thomas Brown House).: 42 It had a two-story portico with Doric columns, and a two-story frame addition to the rear. Its central hall plan interior included Greek Revival-influenced original fireplace mantles with architrave molding and original doors with architrave moldings. Photography was not allowed in the interior, as of its listing.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.On the early morning of January 28, 2014, it burned down.It was removed from the National Register on July 15, 2015.

Meeting-of-the-Waters is a two-story brick home and property in Franklin, Tennessee that dates from 1800 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It has also been known as the Thomas Hardin Perkins House.

The Knight-Moran House, near Franklin, Tennessee, was built in 1820. Also known as Woodland, and denoted as WM-44. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.It is a double pen one-and-a-half-story log and frame house. Its east wing was built c.1820 by Winfield Knight as a single pen log house with stone foundation and stone chimney. A c.1840 log pen is joined by a breezeway. It has a c.1860 addition with a c.1960 extension. There are several interesting outbuildings.

The Nicholas Tate Perkins House is a property in Franklin, Tennessee, United States, that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. The property is also known as Two Rivers. It was built or has other significance as of c.1820. It includes Central passage plan and other architecture. When listed the property included two contributing buildings and one non-contributing structure, on an area of 3.4 acres (1.4 ha). The property was covered in a 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources.

The Hamilton-Brown House, in Franklin, Tennessee, also known as the Elijah Hamilton House or as Cottonwood, is a historic two-story brick house that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.It was built between 1792 and c.1800, making it one of the very oldest houses in Williamson County. It originally had a hall-and-parlor plan. A brick one-story east wing was extended in c. 1850 and c. 1940. A one-story brick and log north wing was extended from the east wing in c.1960 and c.1997. When listed the property included four contributing buildings and two contributing sites on an area of 5 acres (2.0 ha).The property is denoted as Williamson County historic resource WM-56.

The John Motheral House is a property in Franklin, Tennessee that dates from c.1805, was enlarged c.1870, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. It was built as a log building in c.1805, probably of single pen construction, and was enlarged c.1870 to have an "imposing" two story frame construction. Other Williamson County structures that were enlarged in this way, in approximately the same time period, include the Sherwood Green House and the William Leaton House.

The William Leaton House is a property in Franklin, Tennessee, United States, that dates from c.1802 and that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. It has also been known as Grassland. It includes Central passage plan and other architecture.The property was covered in a 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources.

The Knights of Pythias Pavilion in Franklin, Tennessee, also known as Carlisle House, is a Classical Revival architecture building designed by Henry Gibel and built in 1897. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. According to a 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources, conducted by staff of the Tennessee Historical Commission:An unusual addition to the county's architecture in the 1890s was the Knights of Pythias Pavilion which was moved to a hill west of Franklin (WM-996). The pavilion was originally located on the grounds of the Tennessee Centennial Exposition in Nashville which was held in 1897. It was purchased after the exposition and moved by wagon to its present location off Highway 96. The building is of Neo-Classical design and features a prominent red dome. (page 31) Later the same study describes again:One of the most significant frame residences in the county is the Knights of Pythias Pavilion (WM-996) which was originally constructed in Nashville for the 1897 Centennial Exposition. The pavilion was part of the Centennial complex and after the Exposition came to an end it was purchased and moved to Williamson County. The house has Colonial Revival detailing and a prominent central projecting dome. The house has not been altered and is one of the most unusual designs in the county. (page 43)

The Loveless Cafe is a restaurant in southwest Nashville, Tennessee, on Highway 100 just east of the northern terminus of the Natchez Trace Parkway. It is known for its Southern cooking, especially for its biscuits, fruit preserves, country ham, and red-eye gravy. The establishment has received acclaim from USA Today, Southern Living, Frommer's, and a number of other prominent national publications. It was purchased by Charles A. Elcan and his wife Trisha Frist, the daughter of Thomas F. Frist Jr., in December 2014.

The Y. M. Rizer House, also known as Mapleshade, is an Italianate and Second Empire style house dating from c.1874 in Franklin, Tennessee that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.According to a 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources, it is one of a handful of notable, historic Italianate style residences in the county, others being the James Wilhoite House, the John Hunter House, the Owen-Cox House, the Andrew C. Vaughn House, the Henry Pointer House, the Jordan-Williams House, and the Thomas Critz House.When listed the property included one contributing building and one non-contributing structure on an area of 2.2 acres (0.89 ha).

Pasquo is a neighborhood of Nashville, along State Route 100 in Davidson County, within Bellevue. It is incorporated as part of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.Formerly a rural area, Pasquo has experienced rapid growth in recent years as the Nashville suburbs expand westward. Pasquo is the short name for Pasquotank, and a now-defunct neighboring community was once known as Tank. The name was taken from Pasquotank County, North Carolina, where early settlers came from.Pasquo is the location of the northern terminus of the Natchez Trace Parkway, the Loveless Cafe, Chaffin’s Barn Dinner Theatre, Union Bridge, Harpeth Valley School, Bellevue YMCA, Old Pasquo School and the State of Tennessee abandoned "Cold War" communications Center.
