D. W. Daniel High School

The Issaqueena Bombing Range was a World War II target range used for training flight crews from Greenville Army Air Base, later renamed Donaldson Air Force Base. The Army Air Field was established in 1942 for the preparation of aircrew using North American B-25 Mitchell twin-engine bombers, and a suitable target area was established using Lake Issaqueena, northwest of Calhoun, South Carolina and Clemson University, completely within the Clemson Experimental Forest. Bombing Range Road is still located off of State Highway S-39-291, southwest of Six Mile, South Carolina and west of Lake Issaqueena.

The Central Roller Mills is a historic mill complex in Central, South Carolina. The mill opened in 1903, when there were 556 operating grist mills and roller mills in South Carolina. By 1929 there were only 23, and by 1939 there were only 17, however the Central Roller Mills operated until the late 1970s. The original building is three stories tall and made of brick, with a one-story wing. The mill was purchased by the owner of the nearby Pendleton Oil Mill in 1934. By 1938, additions to the complex included a second story to the wing, a four-story tower for bucket elevators, and a three-story tower with nine storage silos. A corn mill and hammer mill for producing animal feed were added in separate buildings. The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

Clemson station is a train station in Clemson, South Carolina. It is served by the Crescent passenger train of Amtrak, the national passenger rail service. The station sits on the corner of Calhoun Memorial Highway and College Avenue in the heart of downtown Clemson. Clemson is situated on one of the nation's emerging high-speed rail corridors, known as the Southeast High Speed Rail Corridor or SEHSR. The station was originally erected by the Southern Railway in 1916. In the early 1960s, R.C. Edwards, then Clemson University president, convinced D.W. Brosnan, president of the Southern at the time, to prefer Clemson over Seneca as the main station for the area. On January 31, 1979, the Southern discontinued passenger service, turning operations of the Crescent over to Amtrak. In 2016 the station closed for construction on a nearby intersection. An Amtrak Thruway bus transferred Clemson passengers to Greenville.Amtrak's Crescent resumed normal service at Clemson station on August 1, 2019.

Central High School is a former school building located Central, Pickens County, South Carolina. It was built in 1908 and expanded in 1925. It is located at 304 Church Street.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.It is currently used for residential living.

Morgan House is a historic home located Central, Pickens County, South Carolina. It was built in 1893 in the Queen Anne, and modified about 1917 with Classical Revival style changes. It is a 1+1⁄2-story frame dwelling and features a porch with Doric order columns. It is associated with the Morgan family, who operated a mercantile retail establishment and founders of the Bank of Central. The house now serves as the home of the Central History Museum, which is operated by the Central Heritage Society.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Central is a town in Pickens County, South Carolina, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 5,159, roughly 3,000 of whom were considered permanent residents. Contrary to its name, it is not near South Carolina's center. It received its name from being halfway or the central point between Atlanta and Charlotte along the former Atlanta and Richmond Air-Line Railway line. Southern Wesleyan University's main campus is east of downtown Central.

Clemson Experimental Forest, a 17,500 acre forest surrounding Clemson University, is a natural resource laboratory. It is a product of a land reclamation project funded by Franklin D. Roosevelt Administration's New Deal programs. The forest is habitat for more than 195 species of birds and more than 90 species of trees. The forest is used for research, education, and recreation.

Clemson ([note a]) is a city in Pickens and Anderson counties in the U.S. state of South Carolina. Clemson is home to Clemson University; in 2015, the Princeton Review cited the town of Clemson as ranking #1 in the United States for "town-and-gown" relations with its resident university. The population of the city was 17,681 at the 2020 census.Clemson is part of the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, SC Combined Statistical Area. Riggs Field is a 6,500-capacity soccer-specific stadium located in Clemson, South Carolina. The stadium is home to the Clemson Tigers men's and women's soccer teams. It has also hosted the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship in 1987. The stadium opened for soccer in 1980, and was renovated in 1987, and again in 2013. Previous to this, it hosted a variety of the school's athletic teams, including the football team from 1915 until 1941 and the baseball team from 1916 until 1969. It is named after Walter Riggs, the former coach of the football team and president of Clemson (1910–1924). Riggs Field is the fifth oldest collegiate athletic facility in the nation.As first laid out in 1915, the football field, surrounded by a cinder track was at the east end of Riggs Field, tennis courts were in the center section, and the baseball diamond was at the west end of the space. A new baseball field was later laid out on an area of campus separate from the previous sports complex, and expanded tennis facilities replaced the former diamond. Riggs Field now generally only refers to the eastern portion where the football team played until 1941. The cinder track was eliminated during the remodeling as a soccer venue. It is now referred to as "Historic Riggs Field".

The Esso Club is a sports bar in Clemson, South Carolina, that evolved from a 1920s gas station and grocery on Old Greenville Highway, which was at the time the main highway between Atlanta, Georgia and Greenville, South Carolina. As local historians note, the corporate trademark change to Exxon went unnoticed by local patrons and the original Esso oval sign is still displayed out front. The business stopped pumping gas in the winter of 1985 and now functions as a sports bar. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution described it as the best bar in the South.ESPN The Magazine picked the Esso Club as their top pick for college sports bars, and "patrons can taste-test the beer in a niche dubbed the 'Educational Corner'". ABC sportscaster Brent Musburger makes it a point to have a beer at the Esso when in town for Clemson football and basketball games. The authors of South Carolina Off the Beaten Path suggest going to the Esso Club to get tickets to games that are sold out years in advance, rather than the stadium.The memorabilia in the Esso Club has been described "cool enough to qualify as museum quality." "A letter from Billy Carter, brother of President Jimmy Carter, is in the archives. The Esso Club possesses the oldest beer license in town, dating to December 1933, immediately after the 21st Amendment went into effect on December 5. The main bar is topped with the original cedar seating from Death Valley, Clemson's football stadium. New owners introduced a liquor license to the traditional beer joint for the first time in 2003. Spitoono (or Spittoono in alternating years), a local charity fund-raising music festival organized by a loose confederation of Esso Club regulars operating as the Redneck Performing Arts Association (RPAA), was held in the parking lot from 1981 to 1990 by which time it had outgrown the available space. Spitoono moving to the Clemson National Guard Armory ballfield in 1991.

Clemson House was a hotel and later a residence hall located on the campus of Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, USA. It was built in 1950 and demolished by controlled implosion in 2017.

The Clemson University Historic District I is a collection of historic properties on the campus of Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. The district contains eight contributing properties located along the northern portion of the campus. Included are some of the oldest academic buildings on campus. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
