Max Bettin House

The Tasin House at 202 N. Wheeler in Victoria, Texas was built in 1911 by building contractors Bailey Mills. It was designed by Praeger & Hull. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.It is a two-story vernacular house with an "imposing" two-story porch. It has some tapered box columns.It was listed on the NRHP as part of a study which listed numerous historic resources in the Victoria area.

The E. J. Jecker House at 201 N. Wheeler in Victoria, Texas, United States, was built in 1910. It was a work of architects Praeger & Hull and of building contractor Bailey Mills. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.It is an L-plan residence with Ionic columns on the first-floor level of its two-story wrap-around porch.It was a home of one of the 2,124 German-speaking immigrants from Alsace-Lorraine brought to Texas by Henri Castro in the 1840s. : 29 It was listed on the NRHP as part of a study which listed numerous historic resources in the Victoria area.

Officially named F. W. Gross High School on January 2, 1936, the Victoria Colored School, in Victoria County, Texas, United States, was built in 1901 under authorization of the newly elected school board. The Victoria Independent School District, formed in 1898, chose a design by architect Jules Leffland for the district's second high school, a segregated school for the "coloreds". The Colored School was built at 702 E. Convent Street, in the Diamond Hill area of Victoria, which had been settled by freedmen after the Civil War. The building was next door to the Freedmen's School (built in 1868 by the Freedmen's Bureau of Goliad County), which was turned into a dormitory for teachers of The Colored School.

Trinity Lutheran Church is a historic church at 402 E. Constitution in Victoria, Texas. The corner stone was laid September 10, 1908. On May 2, 1909, Rev. Karl Weiss dedicated the church. In 1986 it was added to the National Register.

Webster Chapel United Methodist Church is a historic United Methodist church at 405 S. Wheeler in Victoria, Texas. It was built in 1889 in a Gothic style and was added to the National Register in 1986.

Victoria Grist Windmill is an historic gristmill in Memorial Square in Victoria, Texas, United States. The windmill was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 30, 1976, and became an American Society of Mechanical Engineers Landmark in May 1991. The windmill was built in 1870 and is probably the last remaining windmill of European design in the Southwestern United States. Standing 35 feet high and supporting four 15-foot blades, the Dutch turret-mill style windmill was constructed by German immigrant Fred Meiss, Jr. and Otto Fiek near Spring Creek. The turret-style allowed the top to be turned so the sails face the wind. The millstones were made in Germany, and Rudolph Witte brought them through the port of Indianola in the 1840s. The stones were capable of grinding 500 pounds of cornmeal a week. The walls of the mill are constructed of wooden logs and covered with shakes. In 1935, the Victoria Grist Windmill was moved from its earlier location (west of Victoria) to Memorial Square.

The Presbyterian Iglesia Nicea is a Hispanic Presbyterian church at 401 S. DeLeon in Victoria, Texas. It was designed by architect Jules Leffland. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.Land for the church was donated by Mrs. John M. Brownson, wife of the founder of Victoria National Bank. It is a one-story wood-frame church that was built in 1910. In 1934 the building was moved to allow for addition of a Sunday School hall and a fellowship hall.It was listed on the NRHP as part of a study which listed numerous historic resources in the Victoria area.

The Texas Company Filling Station, at 102 S. Williams St. in Victoria, Texas, was built in 1925. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.It was a filling station with two service bays. When listed it was one of two pre-1935 service stations surviving in Victoria.It has been demolished.

The Jules Leffland House at 302 E. Convent in Victoria, Texas, United States, was built in 1900. It was a home of local architect Jules Leffland. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.It has been termed an "outstanding example" of Leffland's work.

Hauschild's cigar manufacturing firm, with a dwelling unit above. The William Wheeler House in Victoria, Texas, was built in 1900. It was designed by the architect Jules Leffland in Classical Revival style for English immigrant William Wheeler and his family: Emma Hauschlld Wheeler and six children. It was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1986.It has a wrap-around porch. It has wood siding scored to look like stone.William Wheeler "assisted in designing water systems in St. Charles, Missouri and Palestine, Tyler and Columbus, Texas before coming to oversee the construction of Victoria's water system in 1884. Wheeler served as superintendent of the Victoria Water Department from 1885 to 1922. He also began a plumbing business that his son and grandson continued until 1965."The house was occupied by the Wheeler family until 1982.It was listed on the NRHP as part of a study which listed numerous historic resources in the Victoria area.
