The Blue Valley Sports Complex (or the District Athletic Complex, commonly known as the DAC) is a baseball, football, swimming and soccer complex located in Overland Park, Kansas. The complex is regularly home to the local high schools, Blue Valley North High School, Blue Valley Northwest High School, and Blue Valley West High School, and also held various games for Sporting Kansas City in 2001, 2004, 2006, and 2011.

Blue Valley Northwest High School (BVNW) is a high school in Overland Park, Kansas, United States. Blue Valley Northwest is one of five high schools operated by Blue Valley USD 229 school district. Blue Valley Northwest is a member of the Kansas State High School Activities Association and offers a variety of sports programs. Athletic teams compete in the 6A division and are known as the "Huskies". Extracurricular activities are also offered in the form of performing arts, school publications, and clubs.

The University of Kansas Edwards Campus, also known as the KU Edwards Campus, is a satellite campus of the University of Kansas. The campus is located in Overland Park in the Kansas City metropolitan area; its four buildings are located on a 34.8 acres (14.1 ha) site at 127th Street and Quivira Road. The University of Kansas opened its Edwards Campus in December 1992. As of 2021, more than 2,500 students were enrolled at the campus.

Blue Valley Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) is a high school program which operates multiple different magnet programs for students who live within the Blue Valley School District, regardless of whether they attend a Blue Valley school. Each course takes one semester and takes up half of the student's day, with the rest of their time spent at their home high school.

Blue Valley Academy is located on 148th street, next to Blue Valley USD 229 school district headquarters. It is an alternative education school that attempts to give an equal quality education in a smaller environment. Many of the other Blue Valley High Schools act as "parent" schools and many Blue Valley Academy students return to them to take certain electives not offered at the Academy. The building is also home to many Blue Valley recreation games on its football field and gym. The building was originally home to Blue Valley Middle School before it moved to its current location in 1999.

Heritage Christian Academy is a private Christian school with campuses in Overland Park, Kansas and Olathe, Kansas. It serves pre-kindergarten through grade 12.

Blue Valley USD 229 is a public unified school district headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, United States. Located in east central and southeast Johnson County, Kansas, covering 91 square miles (240 km2) of Overland Park including parts of Leawood and Stilwell, all within the Kansas City Metropolitan Area.

In the 2013 Newsweek rankings of the top high schools in America, Blue Valley West was ranked 1st in the state of Kansas and 439th in the nation.Blue Valley West High School opened in August 2001 in order to help educate the increasing population of Overland Park. It was the fourth high school in the Blue Valley Unified School District to open, preceded by Blue Valley Northwest High School in 1993. Johnson County Executive Airport (IATA: OJC, ICAO: KOJC, FAA LID: OJC) is a public airport located four miles (6 km) southeast of the central business district (CBD) of Olathe, a city in Johnson County, Kansas, United States. Measured by number of aircraft operations, the facility was the fourth-busiest airport in the state of Kansas in 2018. The airport was on the FAA's list of airports whose control tower could be closed in September 2013, but it remains in operation.
