Dent de Corjon

Lac de l'Hongrin is a reservoir in Vaud, Switzerland. The reservoir with a surface area of 1.60 km2 (0.62 sq mi) is located in the municipalities of Château-d'Œx and Ormont-Dessous. The two arch dams Hongrin Nord and Hongrin Sud were completed in 1969. The Dam helps with hydro electricity, and stops flooding in the area. The water of the Hongrin reservoir is used for the Veytaux Pumped Storage Power Station. This power station has currently a nameplate capacity of 240 megawatts. Additional turbines which will double capacity to 480 MW will be commissioned by end of 2015.

The Pointe d'Aveneyre (2,026 m) is a mountain of the Swiss Prealps, located east of Villeneuve in the canton of Vaud. It lies south of the Rochers de Naye, on the range overlooking Lake Geneva.

The Vanil des Artses (1,993 m) is a mountain of the Swiss Prealps, located west of Montbovon in the canton of Fribourg. It is among a crest of peaks extending south of the Dent de Lys to the Cape au Moine (1,941m) on the border between the Cantons of Vaud and Fribourg, which in turn is just north of the Col de Jaman from Rochers de Naye, all lying on the range between Lake Geneva and the valley of Gruyère. On 23 August 2013, a team of spelunkers organized by l’Association des Folliu-Bornés ascended caves in the interior of the mountain to reach the summit.

The Col de Jaman (1,512 m) is a mountain pass in the western Swiss Alps, connecting Montreux in the canton of Vaud to Montbovon in the canton of Fribourg. The pass itself, overlooked by the Dent de Jaman, is located within the canton of Vaud, the border with the canton of Fribourg running one kilometre east. The pass is connected to Les Avants by a paved road. A railway tunnel (Montreux–Lenk im Simmental line) runs below the pass.

The Pierre du Moëllé (el. 1661 m.) is a high mountain pass in the Swiss Alps, connecting Leysin to the lake of Hongrin in the canton of Vaud. The pass lies between the Tour de Famelon and the Gros Van.

The Cape au Moine (1,941 m) is a mountain of the Swiss Prealps, located on the border between the cantons of Vaud and Fribourg. It lies north of the Col de Jaman and south of the Col de Soladier, among of a crest of peaks extending roughly north into Fribourg to the Dent de Lys, on the range between Lake Geneva and the valley of Gruyère.

The Dent de Jaman is a mountain (1875 m) above Montreux, situated north of the Rochers de Naye.

The Rochers de Naye (French, lit. "rocks of Naye"; 2,042 metres (6,699 ft)) is a mountain of the Swiss Alps, overlooking Lake Geneva near Montreux and Villeneuve, in the canton of Vaud. They lie on the range separating the basin of Lake Geneva from the valley of the Sarine, on the watershed between the Rhone and the Rhine. The mountain is partially located in the canton of Fribourg, the border between the two cantons culminating on a lower summit named Grande Chaux de Naye (1,982 metres (6,503 ft)). The Rochers de Naye are easily accessible from Montreux, where the highest railway in the canton, the Montreux–Glion–Rochers-de-Naye, starts. From the summit station (1,968 metres (6,457 ft)), only a short walk is necessary to reach the summit. In addition, it is also possible to access the summit by driving to Col de Jaman and then making the 2-3 hr hike to the peak. The Rochers de Naye are also known for the Rochers de Naye Via Ferrata considered to be extremely difficult (ED), the Grottes de Naye (caves which are accessible via the trail between Col de Jaman and Rochers de Naye), and a few enclosures hosting marmots from around the world.

The Gros Van (2,189 m) is a mountain of the Swiss Prealps, overlooking the Col des Mosses in the canton of Vaud. It lies on the range between the Lac de l'Hongrin and the valley of Ormont-Dessous.

Mont d'Or (2,175 m) is a mountain of the Bernese Alps of Switzerland, overlooking Le Sépey in the canton of Vaud. It lies on the range between the Lac de l'Hongrin and the valley of Ormont-Dessous, and flanks the Col des Mosses pass.

The Tour de Famelon (2,143 m) is a mountain of the Swiss Prealps, located north of Leysin in the canton of Vaud. It lies between the Tour de Mayen and the Pierre du Moëllé, on the range lying between the lake of Hongrin and the valley of Ormont Dessous and Ormont Dessus.

The col de Soladier (1,576 m or 5,171 ft) is a mountain pass in the canton de Vaud, in Switzerland. It is located 1 km west of a ridge linking the Vanil des Artses and the Cape au Moine, and east of Le Molard.
