The High Commission for the Republic of Cameroon in London is the diplomatic mission of Cameroon in the United Kingdom.A protest was held outside the embassy in 2013 following the murder of Cameroonian gay-rights activist Eric Lembembe. This led to several more protests in Cameroon, especially in the southern regions.

C Lidgate is a butchers shop in Holland Park, London. It was founded in 1850 by Charles Lidgate and remains in the hands of his descendants today.

Holland Park Mews is a mews street in the Holland Park district of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in London, W11. The mews consists of 67 residential properties, originally built as 68 stables, on a cobbled road with two entrances from Holland Park. The west entrance passes under an arch listed Grade II on the National Heritage List for England. The arch was built in 1862, and the stables from 1860 to 1879.In addition to the arch the houses either side of the mews are Grade II listed in two groups as Nos 1–34 and 35–67. The Historic England listing describes them as "buildings of unusual design and marked picturesqueness".Bridget Cherry, writing in the 1991 London: North West edition of the Pevsner Architectural Guides, remarks of Holland Park Mews, "The grand entrance gate...and splendid parapets survive to distinguish these as very ritzy mews". The architectural critic Ian Nairn described the mews it as "a cathedral among mewses (sic)".The actor Ian Holm is a former resident of the mews.Roger Moore and Alexis Kanner filmed a scene from the 1969 film Crossplot on the mews, and Peter Cushing and Sue Lloyd went to a party held at the mews in the 1968 film Corruption.

Norland Square is a garden square in the Notting Hill area of London. Located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, runs northward from Holland Park Avenue to Queensdale Road. The mews street Norland Place runs eastwards of the Square. The name of the square, as well as the nearby Norland Place and Norland Road, come from the Norland Estate which is the historic name for the farmlands in the northern part of Kensington Parish. It was designed by architect and property developer Robert Cantwell, who laid out the area in 1837, and was constructed during the early Victorian era. Cantwell also oversaw the almost contemporaneous Royal Crescent, which was likewise developed from the old Norland Estate. Since the 1820s Cantwell had been involved in development plans for the larger Ladbroke Estate to the north.In 1876 Emily Ward founded the Norland Place School in an earlier Norland Place, now part of Holland Park Avenue. A number of buildings in the square are now Grade II listed.

Tortoises with Triangle and Time is an outdoor bronze sculpture in Holland Park, Kensington, London, England, adjacent to Abbotsbury Road. The work is by the sculptor Wendy Taylor and was created in 2000 to celebrate the Millennium. It features two tortoises and a large triangle that forms a sundial. The sculpture is 549cm height × 660cm width × 619cm depth. It was commissioned by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Sculpture at Goodwood.

The Thematic House in Holland Park, Kensington, London, is a Grade I listed building with Historic England, located at 19 Lansdowne Walk. It was designed by Charles Jencks in collaboration with other postmodern architects including Terry Farrell and Michael Graves, as his own home. The sculptors Celia Scott and Eduardo Paolozzi also participated in its development.The existing 1840s end-of-terrace villa was initially purchased by Jencks and his wife Maggie Keswick in May 1978, and the transformation of the main structure was completed in 1983. The stucco-fronted building houses such interior features as pedimented bookshelves, a sundial window seat, and an upside-down classical dome serving as a jacuzzi. The main Solar Stair is complemented by a semi-circular 'Moonwell', which channels natural light over a darker area. The house encapsulates Jencks's theories, and there are plans for it to be converted into an archive museum, named the 'Cosmic House', which could be open to the public by appointment.It opened to the public from 24 September 2021, as "The Cosmic House".

Lansdowne Studios was a music recording studio in Holland Park, London, England, which operated between 1958 and 2006. The studio was located at Lansdowne Road, Holland Park, within Lansdowne House, a Grade II listed eight-storey building which was originally constructed in 1902-04 by Scottish architect William Flockhart, for South African mining magnate Sir Edmund Davis. The building contained apartments and artists' workshops. Among the artists who had studios in the building in the early decades of the 20th century were Charles Ricketts, Charles Haslewood Shannon, Glyn Philpot, Vivian Forbes, James Pryde, and Frederick Cayley Robinson, who are commemorated on a blue plaque on the building.The building underwent significant alterations. When, in 1957, record producer Denis Preston was looking for a property in which to set up a recording studio, his assistant engineer Joe Meek found the premises, which had unusually high ceilings and a basement squash court, suitable for conversion into a studio. Preston, Meek and engineer Adrian Kerridge then established the studio, and made their first recordings there in 1958. The studio was London's first independent music recording studio. In 1962, an enlarged control room overlooking the studio floor was opened. Kerridge later became the studio's owner.It was used in its early years by many jazz and pop musicians, and became renowned for the clarity of its recordings. Musicians who recorded in the studio included Lonnie Donegan, Acker Bilk, The Dave Clark Five, Donovan, The Animals, Shirley Bassey, The Strawbs, Queen, Uriah Heep, Sinéad O'Connor, and Graham Parker.

Pottery Lane is a street in Notting Hill, west London. Today it forms part of one of London's most fashionable and expensive neighbourhoods, but in the mid-19th century it lay at the heart of a wretched and notorious slum known as the "Potteries and the Piggeries". The slum came to the attention of Londoners with the building of the Hippodrome in 1837 by entrepreneur John Whyte. Unfortunately for Whyte a public right of way existed over his land and "dirty and dissolute vagabonds" from the nearby slum invaded his racecourse, adding to his financial difficulties and, in part, leading to the closure of his venture in 1842. Pottery Lane gradually improved in the late 20th century along with the rest of the Notting Hill area, and today the houses there fetch multi-million pound prices. Just one of the original brick kilns still survives; it is located in Walmer Road, just north of Pottery Lane, and bears a commemorative plaque placed there by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Norland Place School is a co-educational independent preparatory school for boys aged 4–8 and girls aged 4–11 in Holland Park, London. The school was founded in 1876 by Emily Lord.
