KSAH (720 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station, licensed to Universal City, Texas, and serving the San Antonio metropolitan area. KSAH and sister station 104.1 KSAH-FM simulcast a Classic Regional Mexican radio format, specializing in Norteño music. The two stations are owned by Alpha Media with the licenses held by Alpha Media Licensee, LLC. The studios and offices are located on Eisenhauer Road in Northeast San Antonio. The AM station's transmitter site is south of Zuehl, Texas, off Stolte Road. By day, KSAH is powered at 10,000 watts. But because AM 720 is a clear channel frequency reserved for Class A WGN Chicago, KSAH must reduce power at night to 890 watts to avoid interference. The station uses a directional antenna around the clock.

Zuehl ( zeel) is an unincorporated area and census-designated place in western Guadalupe County, Texas, United States. It is part of the San Antonio Metropolitan Statistical Area. Located on Cibolo Creek, it lies 13 miles (21 km) southwest of Seguin. The population was 362 at the 2010 census.Once known as "Perryman's Crossing", it was a crossing on the Wood Road, an early road between Gonzales and San Antonio. Wilhem Zuehl bought the land in 1870 and two years later opened a store, from which the community took its name.

Woman Hollering Creek is a creek located in Central Texas. At one point, it crosses Interstate 10, between Seguin, Texas, and San Antonio, Texas. It is a tributary of Martinez Creek, which is a tributary of Cibolo Creek, a tributary of the San Antonio River. Alternatively known as Womans Hollow Creek, the creek's name is probably a loose translation of the Spanish La Llorona, or "the weeping woman". According to legend, a woman who has recently given birth drowns her newborn in the river because the father of the child either does not want it, or leaves with a different woman. The woman then screams in anguish from drowning her child. After her death, her spirit then haunted the location of the drowning and wails in misery. The legend has many different variations.Author and poet Sandra Cisneros wrote a collection of short stories entitled Woman Hollering Creek and Other Stories in 1991.The creek is the subject of the song "River Called Woman Hollering" by the Electric Boy Rangers.

The station is owned by Hispanic Community College. 1000 AM is a United States and Mexican clear-channel frequency; WMVP, KNWN and XEOY share Class A status.

New Berlin is a German-Texan town settled by German emigrants in the 1800s as a farming community. Randolph Air Force Base (IATA: RND, ICAO: KRND, FAA LID: RND) is a United States Air Force base located at Universal City, Texas (14.8 miles (23.8 km) east-northeast of Downtown San Antonio). Opened in 1931, Randolph has been a flying training facility for the United States Army Air Corps, the United States Army Air Forces, and the Air Force during its entire existence. On 1 October 2010, Randolph AFB merged with Lackland Air Force Base and the US Army's Fort Sam Houston to form Joint Base San Antonio.
