Knoxville Center Mall, originally known as East Towne Mall, was a shopping mall located in North Knoxville, Tennessee. It was in operation from 1984 to January 2020 and was demolished in 2021.

The Alfred Buffat Homestead, also known as The Maples, is a historic home with several surviving outbuildings located on Love Creek Road in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States. Its architectural style is Italianate.Alfred Buffat was a French-Swiss immigrant. He built the first story of The Maples in 1867 for his bride. A second story was added three years later. The house has wood siding, with a modest front porch. The property originally included a grist mill and other buildings. In addition to the main house, the miller's cottage, smokehouses, wash house, barns and utility buildings are still standing. The house is a private residence, and is not open to the public. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The North Knox Career and Technical Education Center is a public school located in Halls Crossroads, Tennessee. The school shares a campus with Halls High School. The mission of the North Knox Career and Technical Education Center is to help empower students for effective participation in a global society. The programs are designed to contribute to the broad academic achievement of all students by showing the relevance of academic content through real world application. These programs also develop their ability to work independently, understand the importance of teamwork, think creatively and solve problems through the use of technology. The school's director is H.B. Jenkins, assistant principal for Halls High School.

Beaver Creek is a tributary of the Clinch River in Knox County in East Tennessee. It drains a watershed area of 86.5 square miles (224 km2) between Copper Ridge and Black Oak Ridge. It flows from northeast to southwest from the Gibbs High School area, through the Halls, Powell, Karns, Solway, and Hardin Valley communities, entering the Clinch downstream from Solway. Beaver creek is the site of the new Knox county water trail. When completed it will allow over 40 miles of navigable water by kayak or canoe. The Beaver Creek Kayak Club is a local float club that is dedicated to the clean up, preservation and promotion of the beaver creek watershed.

Halls High School is a high school in the Halls Crossroads suburb of Knoxville, Tennessee, operated by Knox County Schools. Founded in 1916, the school was one of the first in the area. It is named for Pulaski Hall, a prominent citizen and owner of one of the first businesses in the town. The school includes the North Knox Career and Technical Education Center. The principal is Spencer Long, who replaced the retiring, Mark Duff. Mr. Duff was a longtime history teacher at Halls High before entering administration in Knox County Schools. Spencer Long is a alumni of Halls High School.

Central High School is a public high school located at 5321 Jacksboro Pike in the Fountain City neighborhood of Knoxville, Tennessee, operated by the Knox County school system.The school's athletic teams are nicknamed the Bobcats, and its colors are red and black.

The Savage House and Garden is a historic home and garden at 3237 Garden Drive in the Fountain City community of Knoxville, Tennessee, United States. Built around 1917 and designed in the Bungalow/Craftsman style, the house and its garden are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Arthur Savage (1872–1946), an immigrant from Leamington Spa, England, designed the house and garden during World War I. Along with his older brother, W. L. Savage, Arthur Savage made a small fortune in the early 1900s by manufacturing industrial equipment. Savage was president of the Ty-Sa-Man company, once located in what is now the World's Fair Park, which specialized in the manufacturing of marble-cutting equipment.Savage loved rock gardens, and established several in East Tennessee, including one in Lake City, along with the one in Fountain City. The Fountain City garden was inspired by Japanese garden designs, which had become popular through the early twentieth century Art Nouveau movement. Work on the garden began around 1917, and was completed sometime during following decade.In 1937, the Savage Garden was damaged by a tornado, and remained in a state of disrepair for several years. In 1986, the Savage family sold the garden to Bill Dohm and Patty Cooper. Dohm and Cooper have since renovated the garden and restored its fountain. Plant species found in the garden include Japanese Umbrella Pine, Chinese Pistache, Jack-in-the-Pulpit, and Dwarf Crested Iris.

Fort Adair (sometimes called Adair's Station) was a stockade fortification that served as a supply depot for early settlers migrating west. The structure was constructed in 1788 or around 1791 at Grassy Valley, an early European settlement in the Appalachian Ridge-and-Valley region of East Tennessee. The presence of a supply station encouraged more Europeans to settle in the vicinity. The town of Fountain Head was founded around Fort Adair by settlers of Grassy Valley and later renamed to Fountain City. Since its annexation in 1962, Fountain City is a neighborhood of northern Knoxville, Tennessee.

Halls Crossroads (known locally as Halls) is a census-designated place in northern Knox County, Tennessee. As a northern suburb of nearby Knoxville, Halls is included in the Knoxville Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town takes its name from the Thomas Hall family that settled in the area in the late 18th century.The population at the 2020 census was 10,341.
