The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Nusantara or Museum MACAN is an art museum at Kebon Jeruk in Jakarta, Indonesia. The museum is the first in Indonesia to have a collection of modern and contemporary Indonesian and international art. It has a floor area of 7,107 square meters with display area of about 4,000 square meters. The museum is included in a list of the World’s 100 Greatest Places 2018 released by Time magazine. Museum MACAN opened in November 2017.

The Indosiar Television Tower is a 395 m (1,296 ft) guyed mast used for FM- and TV-broadcasting in West Jakarta, Indonesia, completed in 2006. It is currently the tallest structure in Indonesia. It consists of a 375 metre tall lattice structure with a side length of 6.3 m (20.7 ft), which carries on its top a 20 m (65.6 ft) high TV-broadcasting antenna. The upper parts of the mast are guyed to a 120 m (390 ft) triangular lattice steel structure with a side length of 56 m (183.7 ft), which was built around the mast. This special design, which gives the tower a unique shape, was chosen because of the lack of space available on the site. Broadcasting is run by the local television network, SCTV and Indosiar, both of which is owned by Surya Citra Media, a part of Elang Mahkota Teknologi.

The 2013 Ekayana Monastery bombing was a terrorist attack that occurred in Jakarta, Indonesia on August 4, 2013 at 6:53 p.m. It targeted a Buddhist monastery named Ekayana in Jakarta. This bombing caused injuries to three people.

West Jakarta (Betawi: Jakarte Bekulon; Indonesian: Jakarta Barat) is one of the five administrative cities of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta, Indonesia. West Jakarta is not self-governed and does not have a city council, hence it is not classified as a proper municipality. It had a population of 2,281,945 at the 2010 Census and 2,434,511 at the 2020 Census. The administrative center of West Jakarta is at Puri Kembangan. The Pesanggrahan River (Indonesian: Sungai Pesanggrahan or Kali Pesanggrahan) is a river with the upstream in the Bogor Regency, flowing through the cities of Depok, Jakarta and Tangerang, Banten. The river passes the districts of Tanah Sereal, Bojong Gede, Sawangan, Limo, Kebayoran Lama, Pesanggrahan, Kembangan, and Kebun Jeruk before flowing into the Cengkareng Drain. Based on 2005 data, 55 percent of the watershed area of the Pesanggrahan River is occupied by housing, only 7 percent is still forests, 20 percent rice fields, and 13 percent other agriculture fields.

Pesing Station (PSG) is a railway station in Wijaya Kusuma, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta, Indonesia. It is the third station on the Duri-Tangerang branch line Brown Line service. The station is near to the office of television broadcasting company Indosiar.

The Mookervaart River (Mookervaart Canal; also written in Indonesian as Mokervart) is a canal connecting the Cisadane River in Tangerang and Kali Angke (Angke River) in Jakarta. Constructed from 1678 to 1689, this 25–30 meter wide channel is one of the important flood control water channels in Jakarta.

Bina Nusantara University, also known as BINUS University, is a private university in Indonesia. The main campus of the university is located at Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta. Jakarta Aquarium and Safari is a marine and freshwater aquarium located within a retail and leisure complex Neo Soho in Jakarta, Indonesia. The aquarium is home to hundreds of mammal, reptile, insect and various types of Indonesian marine fish, is to introduce to the next generation the biodiversity of the archipelago starting from islands, forests, and mangroves. Other than Indonesian endemic animals, there are also animals from Africa and South America. The aquarium is a subsidiary of Taman Safari of Indonesia in collaboration with Aquaria KLCC of Malaysia. The Aquarium has received the accolade of Trip Advisor's Certificate of Excellence Destination 2018 and Indonesia Travel Tourism Awards (ITTA).

Central Park in Jakarta, Indonesia is a mixed-use complex including a shopping mall, an office tower, three apartment buildings, and a hotel covering an area of about 655,000 m2 (7,050,000 sq ft) located in the district of Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta developed by the Agung Podomoro Group and part of Podomoro City development. Central Park is currently the 17th largest building in the world based on floor area.

Mall Ciputra (formerly Citraland Mall, abbreviated CL) is a mall in Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta, Indonesia. It was opened in February 1993.In addition to branded shops, restaurants, and a department store, there is a supermarket, a cinema, a bookstore, a hotel, and a children's playground. The complex covers 4.1 hectares (10 acres) with the mall having 76,017 square metres (818,240 sq ft), of which 43,100 square metres (464,000 sq ft) is leasable mall floor space, located on five floors with an additional service basement. The mall has an open design which allows shoppes on all levels to view the center court. In 2012, the mall experienced a major renovation.
