West Jakarta

Taman Kota Station (TKO, formerly Kembangan Station) is a class III railway station located in North Kembangan, Kembangan, West Jakarta. The station, which is located at an altitude of +12 meters, is included in the Jakarta Operational Area I and only serves the KRL Commuterline route.

The Pesanggrahan River (Indonesian: Sungai Pesanggrahan or Kali Pesanggrahan) is a river with the upstream in the Bogor Regency, flowing through the cities of Depok, Jakarta and Tangerang, Banten. The river passes the districts of Tanah Sereal, Bojong Gede, Sawangan, Limo, Kebayoran Lama, Pesanggrahan, Kembangan, and Kebun Jeruk before flowing into the Cengkareng Drain. Based on 2005 data, 55 percent of the watershed area of the Pesanggrahan River is occupied by housing, only 7 percent is still forests, 20 percent rice fields, and 13 percent other agriculture fields.

The Mookervaart River (Mookervaart Canal; also written in Indonesian as Mokervart) is a canal connecting the Cisadane River in Tangerang and Kali Angke (Angke River) in Jakarta. Constructed from 1678 to 1689, this 25–30 meter wide channel is one of the important flood control water channels in Jakarta.

Pesing Station (PSG) is a railway station in Wijaya Kusuma, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta, Indonesia. It is the third station on the Duri-Tangerang branch line Brown Line service. The station is near to the office of television broadcasting company Indosiar.

Kedoya Selatan (Indonesian for South Kedoya) is an administrative village in the Kebon Jeruk district, city of West Jakarta, Indonesia. It has postal code of 11520. Taman Kedoya Baru residential estate and Kedoya Elok Apartment are located in this area. Taman Kedoya Sport Club is a sport center in the residential estate. Facilities are tennis courts, swimming pools, and a fitness center. The Jakarta–Tangerang Toll Road has eastbound exit ramp in Kedoya. This is the last exit ramp before the eastern terminus in Tomang, which also merges to Jakarta Inner Ring Road.

The 2013 Ekayana Monastery bombing was a terrorist attack that occurred in Jakarta, Indonesia on August 4, 2013 at 6:53 p.m. It targeted a Buddhist monastery named Ekayana in Jakarta. This bombing caused injuries to three people.

The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Nusantara or Museum MACAN is an art museum at Kebon Jeruk in Jakarta, Indonesia. The museum is the first in Indonesia to have a collection of modern and contemporary Indonesian and international art. It has a floor area of 7,107 square meters with display area of about 4,000 square meters. The museum is included in a list of the World’s 100 Greatest Places 2018 released by Time magazine. Museum MACAN opened in November 2017.

The Indosiar Television Tower is a 395 m (1,296 ft) guyed mast used for FM- and TV-broadcasting in West Jakarta, Indonesia, completed in 2006. It is currently the tallest structure in Indonesia. It consists of a 375 metre tall lattice structure with a side length of 6.3 m (20.7 ft), which carries on its top a 20 m (65.6 ft) high TV-broadcasting antenna. The upper parts of the mast are guyed to a 120 m (390 ft) triangular lattice steel structure with a side length of 56 m (183.7 ft), which was built around the mast. This special design, which gives the tower a unique shape, was chosen because of the lack of space available on the site. Broadcasting is run by the local television network, SCTV and Indosiar, both of which is owned by Surya Citra Media, a part of Elang Mahkota Teknologi.

Mall Ciputra (formerly Citraland Mall, abbreviated CL) is a mall in Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta, Indonesia. It was opened in February 1993.In addition to branded shops, restaurants, and a department store, there is a supermarket, a cinema, a bookstore, a hotel, and a children's playground. The complex covers 4.1 hectares (10 acres) with the mall having 76,017 square metres (818,240 sq ft), of which 43,100 square metres (464,000 sq ft) is leasable mall floor space, located on five floors with an additional service basement. The mall has an open design which allows shoppes on all levels to view the center court. In 2012, the mall experienced a major renovation.

Grogol Petamburan is a district (Indonesian kecamatan) of West Jakarta, Indonesia, roughly bounded by the West Flood Canal to the east, Angke Canal to the west and to the north, and Jakarta-Merak Tollway to the south. It has an area 1,130 ha. As of 2004, the use of the land was 58.0% for housing, 12.5% for offices, 3.8% in parkland, and 2.2% in farmland with the remainder in other uses or idle.Some of the largest malls in Jakarta — Ciputra, Taman Anggrek and Central Park — are located in Grogol Petamburan's Tanjung Duren Selatan Administrative Village. The universities of Tarumanegara and Trisakti are also located in Grogol Petamburan, in Tomang Administrative Village.
