The Paris Graduate School of Digital Innovation (French: École pour l'informatique et les nouvelles technologies, or EPITECH), formerly European Institute of Information Technology, is a private institution of higher education in computer science that was founded in 1999.Headquartered in Le Kremlin-Bicêtre, south of Paris, the school has campuses in Bordeaux, Rennes, Marseille, Lille, Lyon, Montpellier, Nancy, Nantes, Nice, Strasbourg, Toulouse and Saint-André, Réunion. The school also has locations in Barcelona (Spain), Tirana (Albania), Berlin (Germany), and Brussels (Belgium).The school has the particularity to teach with practical cases instead of theoretical. Epitech has also an Executive MBA in IT and entrepreneurship course targeting executive managers in computer science.The institution is part of IONIS Education Group.

Web@cademie is a private, nonprofit and tuition-free computer programming school created and funded by French IONIS Education Group with several partners including Epitech and Zup de Co association. The school was first opened in Paris in 2010.Headquartered in Le Kremlin-Bicêtre, the school has branches in Lyon Strasbourg and Nancy. Web@cademie delivers a two-year program dedicated to people with no degree and no background (without the French Baccalaureate but with a strong motivation in computer science). This is to help dropout students to have a job in a competitive industry.The school has received the award Grande École du Numérique. The school is a non-profit organization and is entirely free. Major company such as Microsoft give financial support.

In 2006, Paris Tramway Line 3 (now 3a) opened, with a stop at Porte d'Italie. It is named after the Porte d'Italie, a gate in the nineteenth century Thiers wall of Paris, which led to the south and Italy.

Le Kremlin–Bicêtre (French pronunciation: ​[lə kʁɛmlɛ̃ bisɛːtʁ]) is a station of the Paris Métro, serving the Villejuif branch of Line 7. This station's noticeable name, often confused with the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation, is actually the name of the commune it is located in. It is derived from a tavern "Au sergent du Kremlin", a meeting place for French war veterans around 1813, and Bicêtre, an alteration of Winchester, England, the bishop who has owned property here.

Ivry Cemetery (cimetière parisien d'Ivry) is one of the extramural cemeteries of Paris, located in the neighbouring town of Ivry-sur-Seine in Val-de-Marne, less than 500 metres outside Paris's intramural area. As well as a green space, it is a refuge for wild flora and fauna and bears the QualiPARIS label.It is made up of two enclosures separated by the rue Paul-Andrieux. The north enclosure opened in 1861, covering 7.69 hectares, with a western part bought in 1897 to become the separate Kremlin-Bicêtre Cemetery. The south enclosure was set up in 1874 and covers 20.69 hectares. In total the two enclosures contain 48,000 concessions split into 47 divisions, with 240,000 burials between 1861 and 2007 and still receiving 1,000 burials a year. It has 1800 trees, making it a green space under ecological management.Since 2015 it has been mechanically weeded, with no more chemical weedkiller used. Plants have been grown up the cemetery walls and some paths grassed over. Nesting boxes and hedgehog shelters were installed by the ville de Paris's environmental services. Tawny owls, hedgehogs, bats, foxes, hawks and woodpeckers were recorded at the cemetery late in 2016. Fruit trees were planted to feed bees and birds.

The canton of Le Kremlin-Bicêtre is an administrative division of the Val-de-Marne department, Île-de-France region, northern France. Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Halle Georges Carpentier is a multi-use indoor sporting arena that is located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, France. The arena can be used for multiple sporting events, including: boxing, martial arts, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, handball, fencing, basketball, and gymnastics. It is part of a sports complex that also includes a gym and football, rugby, and athletics facilities. The arena is named after the French boxing legend Georges Carpentier, and it includes a statue of the boxer in the arena's lobby, by the sculptor Brennen. The seating capacity of the arena when it is configured for basketball games is 5,009.

The Quartier asiatique (Asian Quarter), also called Triangle de Choisy or Petite Asie (Chinese: 巴黎唐人街, Vietnamese: Phố Tàu Paris) is the largest commercial and cultural center for the Asian community of Paris. It is located in the southeast of the 13th arrondissement in an area that contains many high-rise apartment buildings. Despite its status as a "Chinatown", the neighborhood also contains significant Vietnamese, Laotian and Cambodian populations.

The Tour Super-Italie is a residential skyscraper in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, France. Its exact address is 121-127, Avenue d'Italie. The mainly residential tower was built by the architect Maurice Novarina, assisted by the architects Jacques Giovannoni and Léger. It includes a private indoor swimming pool and a solarium accessible by a staircase from the 34th floor.
