Tuck is an unincorporated community in Daviess County, Kentucky, United States. It is located at the intersection of Highway 554 and Todd Bridge Road. Unincorporated villages of Pettit and Sutherland are located nearby.

Apollo High School is a high school that is part of the Daviess County Public Schools district, located in Owensboro, Kentucky, United States. It was named after the Apollo Space Program, and opened in 1969 as a junior high school. It then converted into a high school in 1972 and held its first graduation in 1974. The school paper is named The Challenger, after the Space Shuttle Challenger. This school also has a marching band program called the Apollo Marching Eagles. Apollo has been involved in a 1-1 laptop project since August 2005, providing a laptop to every incoming freshman for their use during the school year.

Rome is an unincorporated community in Daviess County, Kentucky, United States. It was also known as Clearys Grocery. Rome also has a Cemetery called Athey's Chapel Cemetery. Rome is also referred to as a subdivision located on Highway 81 just southwest of Owensboro.

Daviess County ( "Davis"), is a county in Kentucky. As of the 2020 census, the population was 103,312. Its county seat is Owensboro. The county was formed from part of Ohio County on January 14, 1815. Daviess County is included in the Owensboro, KY Metropolitan Statistical Area. Daviess County also shares its namesake with another nearby Daviess County of Indiana. Both counties are in the Illinois-Indiana-Kentucky Tri-State Area.

Athey's Chapel Cemetery (also known as Rome Cemetery) is located in Rome, Kentucky. The cemetery has 70 interments, but many of the headstones are damaged and have weed overgrowth on them. The cemetery was probably founded in 1820.

The airport is owned by both the city and county. One airline schedules passenger flights, subsidized by the Essential Air Service program. Federal Aviation Administration records say this airport had 23,537 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2016. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021 categorized it as a primary commercial service airport.

Daviess County High School is located in Owensboro, Kentucky, United States. It is one of the largest schools in the area, with roughly 1750 students. It is part of the Daviess County Public Schools system. Its sister school is Apollo High School. Daviess County Middle School and College View Middle School feed into Daviess County High School.
