Hansaplatz is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on the in the Hansaviertel district. It opened on 28 August 1961 with the first section of the new line running south–north from Spichernstraße to Leopoldplatz. The station itself had been erected as early as 1957 in the course of the Interbau housing development. Right besides the U-bahn train station is Hansaplatz square. Now a non-discernible traffic junction, this was an active plaza before the war. Led by Kolleg X students from the Bauhaus in Dessau, there is an active movement to reclaim this Plaza as a community space and share it with the cars and bicycles that currently dominate.

The Hansaviertel (German: [ˈhanzaˌfɪʁtl̩] (listen)) is the smallest Ortsteil (district) of Berlin and is between Großer Tiergarten and the Spree River, within the central Mitte borough of Berlin. The district was almost completely destroyed during World War II but was rebuilt from 1957 to 1961 as a social housing project by international master architects such as Alvar Aalto, Egon Eiermann, Walter Gropius, Oscar Niemeyer, and Sep Ruf. Called Interbau, the whole ensemble has two churches (St. Ansgar and Kaiser-Friedrich-Gedächtniskirche). It is now protected as a historic monument.

The Kaiser-Friedrich-Gedächtniskirche (English: Emperor Frederick Memorial Church) is a German Protestant church owned and used by a congregation within the Evangelical Church of Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia. The church building is situated in Händelallee in Hansaviertel (a locality of Berlin's Mitte borough) near Großer Tiergarten. Designed by architect Ludwig Lemmer, it was built in 1957, replacing a former nineteenth-century building designed by Johannes Vollmer which was destroyed during World War II.

International Psychoanalytic University Berlin (IPU) is a private non-profit university in Berlin, Germany. It was founded in 2009 by the "Gesellschaft zur Förderung der universitären Psychoanalyse mbH" (Limited Liability Society to Promote University Psychoanalysis), initiated by Christa Rohde-Dachser and Jürgen Körner. The IPU commenced its teaching and research activities in the autumn of 2009. IPU Berlin has been state-recognized and was awarded its institutional accreditation by the German Council of Science and Humanities in November 2014.

Bellevue is a railway station on the Berlin Stadtbahn in the Hansaviertel district of Berlin, Germany. It is located on the elevated Stadtbahn line and served by Berlin S-Bahn trains. The station is named after nearby Bellevue Palace, the residence of the President of Germany.

Transparency International e.V. (TI) is a German registered association founded in 1993 by former employees of the World Bank. Based in Berlin, its nonprofit and non-governmental purpose is to take action to combat global corruption with civil societal anti-corruption measures and to prevent criminal activities arising from corruption. Its most notable publications include the Global Corruption Barometer and the Corruption Perceptions Index. Transparency International serves as an umbrella organization. From 1993 till today its members have grown from a few individuals to more than 100 national chapters which engage in fighting perceived corruption in their home countries. TI is a member of G20 Think Tanks, UNESCO Consultative Status, United Nations Global Compact, Sustainable Development Solutions Network and shares the goals of peace, justice, strong institutions and partnerships of the United Nations Sustainable Development Group (UNSDG). TI is a social partner of Global Alliance in Management Education. TI confirmed the dis-accreditation of the national chapter of United States of America in 2017.According to the 2016 Global Go To Think Tank Index Report, Transparency International was number 9 of 100 in the Top Think Tanks Worldwide (non-U.S.) category and number 27 of 150 in the Top Think Tanks Worldwide (U.S. and non-U.S.) category.

Berlin Tiergarten is a railway station on the Berlin Stadtbahn line in the Tiergarten district of Berlin. It lies between the stations of Zoologischer Garten and Bellevue on the Straße des 17. Juni in the Hansaviertel locality of the Mitte borough. It opened in 1885 and is served by the S-Bahn lines , , and and located very close to the Großer Tiergarten park. The station is part of the Stadtbahn viaduct and has heritage listing.

Turmstraße is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on the line. The station is located in fare zone A. It was opened on 28 August 1961, and designed by B. Grimmek. Turmstraße was originally built with an extra rail track under U5; it is no longer used due to technical issues.In the station list of the BVG the station bears the designation Tm. In the construction of the station, the possibility of interchange to line U5 has been taken into account. For this, a tunnel and platform was constructed but not used. To facilitate changing to buses, a central exit was subsequently built in the area of the U5 platform, which comes to the surface on the south side of Turmstraße. The train station is 675 meters from Birkenstraße and 919 meters from Hansaplatz. The station is under the Kleiner Tiergarten park between Turmstraße and Alt-Moabit. The costs amounted to 1.8 million euros. In the immediate vicinity of the underground station is the operating school underground of the BVG and the control center for monitoring and switching the driving current in the subway network.

Turmstraße (Tower street) is a main street in the Berlin district of Moabit. The street runs along the "Kleiner Tiergarten" park, and past the Moabit courthouse. Turmstraße is also the name of an U-Bahn stop on the U9. Moabit Courthouse and Moabit Hospital are located over here, as shown in the images on the right.

The Bismarck Memorial (German: Bismarck-Nationaldenkmal) is a prominent memorial statue in the Tiergarten in Berlin dedicated to Prince Otto von Bismarck, Minister President of the Kingdom of Prussia and the first Chancellor of the German Empire. It was sculpted by Reinhold Begas. It is one of 250 memorials to Bismarck worldwide. This memorial in Berlin portrays Bismarck in his ceremonial garb as Chancellor standing above statues of: Atlas, showing Germany's world power status at the end of the 19th century; Siegfried, forging a sword to show Germany's strong industrial and military might; Germania pinning underfoot a panther, symbolizing the suppression of discord and rebellion; a sibyl reclining on a sphinx and reading the book of history.The statue, along with the famous Berlin victory column, were once located in front of the Reichstag building before they were moved in 1938 by Adolf Hitler in his project to recast Berlin as Welthauptstadt Germania. The statue weathered a marked amount of shrapnel damage during World War II, but has survived largely intact to the present day. In fact, the move probably saved the monument from total destruction, as the old garden in front of the Reichstag was obliterated in the war.
