Mankato West High School

The William Irving House is a historic house in Mankato, Minnesota, United States. It was built in 1873 in Second Empire style for retired merchant William Irving (b. 1821). The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 for its local significance in the themes of architecture and commerce. It was nominated for being a well-preserved example of a locally uncommon architectural style.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 for its local significance in the themes of architecture and education. It was nominated for its association with J.R. Brandrup (1864–1944), a founder of a private vocational school that became one of Mankato's most important educational institutions. The house was also nominated for its prominence and elaborate ornamentation within Mankato's Lincoln Park neighborhood. In 1995 it was listed as a contributing property to the Lincoln Park Residential Historic District.

It was built around 1903 for politician Adolph Olson Eberhart (1870–1944), who served as a state senator, lieutenant governor, and governor of Minnesota. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 for its local significance in the theme of politics/government. It was nominated for its association with Eberhart. In 1995 it was listed as a contributing property to the Lincoln Park Residential Historic District.

Originally a private home, it was owned by the local YWCA for just over 80 years, from late 1927 until they changed locations in early 2008. The building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 7, 1976.The house was built in 1871 for Rensselaer D. Hubbard, a successful businessman. It was designed by Silas Barnard in the French Second Empire style.

The Federal Courthouse and Post Office in Mankato, Minnesota, United States, was built in 1896 and expanded in 1932 and 1965. It is designed in Romanesque or Richardsonian Romanesque style, originally with a tower, by Supervising Architect William Martin Aiken. Also known as Federal Post Office and Courthouse, it served historically as a courthouse and as a post office. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.The 1932 expansion, designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect under James A. Wetmore, more than doubled the size of the building; the 1965 expansion to the rear, credited to Edward W. Novak, was less dramatic. Both expansions were compatible in style and materials.

The Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center is a 5,280-seat (8,200 for concerts) multi-purpose arena in Mankato, Minnesota, built in 1994 and opened in early 1995. It is home to the Minnesota State Mavericks men's ice hockey team and women's ice hockey team, and also hosts musical performances, conventions and other events. Prior to its construction, the team played their home games at All Seasons Arena, which is now their main practice facility. Until April 1, 2019, the arena's naming sponsor was Verizon Communications, one of America's major telecommunications companies.

The Mankato Union Depot in Mankato, Minnesota, United States, is a historic railway station. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The depot was built in 1896 by the Chicago and Northwestern Railway and the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha Railway. Passenger service ended in the 1960s and today the depot houses a business.

Sibley Park is a city park located at the convergence of the Minnesota and Blue Earth Rivers in Mankato, Minnesota, United States. The park was established in 1887 and was named for the state's first governor Henry Hastings Sibley. The park is split into two sides with a hill separating the two sides. The front side has a band shell, a petting zoo, and large lawn area. There are numerous gardens and walking trails through the park. The river side of the park has a view of the river along with sledding hills during the winter, and softball fields and tennis courts during the summer months. There are also a playground and barbecue pits.
