Blue Earth County History Center

Old Main is a historic academic building on the lower historic campus of Minnesota State University, Mankato in Mankato, Minnesota. Its main section, built in 1924, is dominated by a prominent Jacobethan tower, and is connected to an older 1908 building, now known as the Annex. It was built to replace the original old main (built 1870) also located in lower Mankato that was burned to the ground by a fire in 1922. These structures are the oldest surviving buildings on the original valley campus, which was the first site of the state's second normal school. The state legislature provided funding in 1923 for the development of the site. The 1924 building was designed by Clarence H. Johnston, then the state architect. It currently serves as a nursing home and clinical rotation site for nursing assistant programs in the area. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Rensselaer D. Hubbard House, (also known as the Hubbard House) is a historic house in Mankato, Minnesota, United States. Originally a private home, it is currently a museum. The building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 7, 1976.The house was built in 1871 for Rensselaer D. Hubbard, a successful businessman. It was designed by Silas Barnard in the French Second Empire style.

The Federal Courthouse and Post Office in Mankato, Minnesota, United States, was built in 1896 and expanded in 1932 and 1965. It is designed in Romanesque or Richardsonian Romanesque style, originally with a tower, by Supervising Architect William Martin Aiken. Also known as Federal Post Office and Courthouse, it served historically as a courthouse and as a post office. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.The 1932 expansion, designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect under James A. Wetmore, more than doubled the size of the building; the 1965 expansion to the rear, credited to Edward W. Novak, was less dramatic. Both expansions were compatible in style and materials.

The Lorin Cray House (also known as the Cray Mansion) is a historic structure in Mankato, Minnesota. Originally a private home, it was owned by the local YWCA for just over 80 years, from late 1927 until they changed locations in early 2008. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 28, 1980.

The First Presbyterian Church is a historic church in Mankato, Minnesota. It is a Richardsonian Romanesque-style building designed by Warren H. Hayes. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.The congregation was founded in 1855, three years after the town of Mankato was first platted. The first church building was a log schoolhouse, and the second building was built in 1865. Construction on the current building started in 1893, with the sanctuary completed in 1896.

The Adolph O. Eberhart House is a historic house in Mankato, Minnesota, United States. It was built around 1903 for politician Adolph Olson Eberhart (1870–1944), who served as a state senator, lieutenant governor, and governor of Minnesota. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 for its local significance in the theme of politics/government. It was nominated for its association with Eberhart. In 1995 it was listed as a contributing property to the Lincoln Park Residential Historic District.

The Mankato Public Library and Reading Room is a former library building in Mankato, Minnesota, United States. It was built as a Carnegie library from 1902 to 1903 and housed Mankato's public library until 1977. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 for its local significance in the themes of architecture and education. It was nominated for its association with the Carnegie library phenomenon and for its Renaissance Revival architecture using local materials.The city of Mankato sold the building to the Mankato Area Arts Council in 1979. It housed a music education program and provided office space to various non-profit arts organizations. As of 2022, it operates as the Carnegie Art Center, with two art galleries, a gift shop of work by regional artists, and rental studio space.

The Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center is a 5,280-seat (8,200 for concerts) multi-purpose arena in Mankato, Minnesota, built in 1994 and opened in early 1995. It is home to the Minnesota State Mavericks men's ice hockey team and women's ice hockey team, and also hosts musical performances, conventions and other events. Prior to its construction, the team played their home games at All Seasons Arena, which is now their main practice facility. Until April 1, 2019, the arena's naming sponsor was Verizon Communications, one of America's major telecommunications companies.

The First National Bank of Mankato, also known as the Old First National Bank of Mankato and located at 229 South Front Street in Mankato, Minnesota, United States, is a fine example of Prairie School architecture in a commercial building, relating rural life to the development of downtown Mankato as a regional center of commerce and finance. The recently restored exterior is now part of the Mankato Civic Center, the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center.
