KLM Flight 592, a KLM Douglas DC-6 was a scheduled passenger flight from Rome-Ciampino Airport (CIA/LIRA) to Frankfurt International Airport (FRA/EDDF). On Saturday 22 March 1952, Flight 592 crashed on final approaching to Frankfurt International around 10:45 AM Local time; 45 of the 47 people aboard the DC-6 were killed.

Neu Isenburg station is on the Rhine-Main S-Bahn in Neu-Isenburg in the German state of Hesse. It was opened on 1 November 1852 and is now served by S-Bahn and regional trains operated by Deutsche Bahn. Since 29 May 1961, it has been the only station in Hesse with a loading terminal for motorail trains. In addition, it has two bus stops, a taxi stand and a park and ride car park. The station is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station.

The Noor Mosque (German: Nuur-Moschee; Noor = Light) in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen is the third purpose-built mosque in Germany. The mosque in Babenhäuser Landstraße is run by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (AMJ) and was inaugurated on September, 12th 1959 by Sir Muhammad Zafrulla Khan. Before the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in 1985 bought the „Nasir Bagh“ in Groß-Gerau, the annual gathering Jalsa Salana in Germany was celebrated in this mosque. This mosque is well known for being the one that the heavyweight boxer Muhammad Ali prayed within once.

The Goethe Tower (German: Goetheturm) is a 43-metre high public observation tower built entirely out of wood on the northern edge of Frankfurt City Forest located in Sachsenhausen (Frankfurt am Main). The tower was built in honour of the German writer and poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Apart from some taller wooden radio towers, it is the fifth-tallest wooden construction in Germany after the Jahrtausendturm in Magdeburg, the Eichberg Tower in Emmendingen, the Blumenthal Observation Tower and the Weißtannenturm in Kehl.

St. Wendel is the name of a Catholic parish and church in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen, Hesse, Germany, dedicated to Wendelin of Trier. The official name of the church is Kath. St. Wendelskirche. It was built from 1955 to 1957, designed by architect Johannes Krahn.

Frankfurt-Louisa station is a station on the Rhine-Main S-Bahn in the city of Frankfurt in the German state of Hesse. It is also on the Main-Neckar Railway between Frankfurt and Heidelberg.The station is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station.

Radeberger Group is the largest brewery group in Germany. It is headquartered in Frankfurt am Main and produces beer and non-alcoholic beverages at 16 different locations. With an approximate annual production volume of 13 million hectolitres, the group accounts for approximately 15% of German beer production.

Binding-Brauerei is a brewery in Frankfurt am Main. The brewery was founded by Conrad Binding in 1870 and since 1953 is included in Dr. Oetker group. Until 2002, the Oetker Group's beverage division was called Binding-Gruppe, but is now called Radeberger Group. Binding includes labels such as Binding Adler-Pils, Clausthaler, Henninger, Voice and Schöfferhofer. The United States branch of the brewery is located in Norwalk, Connecticut.During the 1960s and 1970s, Binding expanded considerably through the purchase of smaller breweries in Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse and northern Baden. As a rule, these breweries were dropped but two of them remain as the Clausthaler and Schöfferhofer brands.

The Frankfurt City Forest or Frankfurter Stadtwald is a forest district in the south of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. There are also other forest areas spread out through the city.

Henninger Turm (Henninger Tower) was a grain storage silo located in the Sachsenhausen-Süd district of Frankfurt, Germany. It was built by Henninger Brewery (now part of the Binding Brewery/Radeberger Group) and had a storage capacity of 16,000 tons of barley. The 120 m (390 ft), 33-storey, reinforced concrete tower was designed by Karl Lieser and was built from 1959 to 1961. It was inaugurated on 18 May 1961. It was demolished in 2013. Until 1974 it was the tallest building in Frankfurt; and it remained the tallest storage silo in the world until its demolition. On top of the building was a barrel-like pod which contained a viewing platform and a revolving restaurant (originally two). On October 2002, the tower was closed to the public. From 1961 to 2008, the annual professional cycling race Rund um den Henninger-Turm was held on 1 May, the course circling the tower multiple times.

Dreieich-Buchschlag station is a railway station on the Rhine-Main S-Bahn in the town of Dreieich in the German state of Hesse. It was opened in 1879 on the Main-Neckar Railway. The station is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station.

The Student Initiative Rahel (German: Rahel-Bildungsprojekt) was a project of the Institute for World Church and Mission (IWM, German: Institut für Weltkirche und Mission), which is part of the Sankt Georgen Graduate School of Philosophy and Theology in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen. The nonprofit project started in 2010 and collected money until 2017, financing scholarships for disadvantaged young people, mostly women, in Adigrat in northern Ethiopia. The students in Ethiopia were also supported ideally during their education. The project was run mainly by current and former students at the IWM in Germany. It was largely funded by donations.
