Kew House

Peter McIntyre's River Residence (1955) is one of the famous Australian architect's most notable designs. Built during a Post-World-War Two period that was defined architecturally by the International Style, it stands as a testament to the architectural whims and intentions of Melbourne in the 1950s. The McIntyre River Residence quintessentially embodies Peter McIntyre's striking style as well as the Post-War Melbourne Regional style. The June 1956 issue of Vogue in the US commented that the house was "like some exotic bird of paradise perched high on the densely wooded bank."

The Victoria Bridge is a bridge over the Yarra River between Richmond and Hawthorn, Melbourne, Australia. It carries Victoria Street across the Yarra. The bridge is riveted and welded steel Warren truss bridge. It was completed in 1884. The bridge was widened in 1890 by the addition of a third line of truss on new piers on the upstream side to carry horse trams. In 1915 the bridge was further strengthened to accommodate the extra weight of electric trams and widened to accommodate two cantilever footpaths. Further widening and reconditioning of the bridge took place in 1933, including the addition of four new welded trusses.The bridge is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register. The bridge initiated travel and trade between the industrial inner suburbs and the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and stands testimony to the development of the tramway in the city. It comprises two Ornamental Tramway Overhead Gantries which were installed in 1916. They hold an aesthetic significance because of their early 20th century ornamental design which is hard to find these days.

The Skipping Girl Sign or Skipping Girl Vinegar Sign, colloquially known as Little Audrey is an historic animated neon sign in the inner suburb of Abbotsford, Melbourne, and was possibly the first animated neon sign in Australia when first erected in 1936. It advertised the Skipping Girl Vinegar brand, and was placed on top of the factory at 627 Victoria Street, Abbotsford. Removed in 1968, a reproduction was placed on a nearby factory at 651 Victoria Street in 1970 following a public outcry.

Raheen is a heritage-listed Italianate mansion located at 94 Studley Park Road in the Melbourne suburb of Kew, Victoria, Australia. Built in the 1870s, its name means "little fort" in Irish. Listed on the Victorian Heritage Register on 14 July 1982, Raheen is owned by members of the Pratt family and is the principal Australian residence for Anthony Pratt.

Victoria Gardens is a regional shopping centre located in Richmond, Victoria, Australia approximately 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) east of Melbourne's central business district. It is located on the corner of Victoria and Burnley Streets, Richmond at the eastern end of the Richmond commercial, retail and residential precinct. The shopping centre has a Gross Lettable Area of 37,699 m2 (405,790 sq ft), 2,173 parking spaces and approximately 80 specialty retailers.

Villa Alba at 44 Walmer St, Kew, is a museum in the State of Victoria, Australia. It was built and decorated between 1882 and 1884 for Anna Maria McEvoy and her husband, William Greenlaw who was the General Manager of the Colonial Bank of Australasia in Melbourne. Villa Alba is located in Kew opposite Studley Park adjacent the Yarra River. The Yarra separated the Greenlaw's Villa Alba from the working class terrace houses located on the other side of the river in Abbottsford and Collingwood. An early photo shows that the villa was surrounded by the McEvoy's neighbouring larger property. The Paterson Bros. firm of decorators, then at the height of its reputation, was commissioned by the Greenlaws for the decoration of Villa Alba in 1883 and 1884.

Mountain Goat Beer is a brewery in Richmond, Victoria, Australia. The brewery was founded in 1997 by Cam Hines and Dave Bonighton. The company's first commercial brew, 'Hightale Ale' amber ale, was released in October 1997. Mountain Goat Beer was purchased by Asahi in September 2015.The Mountain Goat brewery operates out of a converted red brick warehouse in the inner-city suburb of Richmond. The site is home to the brewing operation as well as sales, administrative and management staff. The brewery has been described as a tourism attraction and has been included in the Victorian Government's Beer Lover’s Guide to Victoria’s Microbreweries publication and in television travel shows.

Kew tram depot is located on the corner of Barkers Road and High Street, Kew, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia. Operated by Yarra Trams, it is one of eight tram depots on the Melbourne tram network.

The Richmond Metropolitan Fire Station, or Former Richmond Metropolitan Fire Station, at 131 Lord Street in Richmond, Victoria, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia is a historic fire station which was built in 1905–1910.It was built as the Richmond branch of the Metropolitan Fire Brigade. Its designer may have been MFB architect Percy Oakden.It has a two-storey residential wing.

Kane's Bridge, also written as Kanes Bridge and previously known as Kane's Suspension Bridge, is a wooden suspension bridge located in Yarra Bend Park, Melbourne, Australia over the Yarra River, linking the inner-city suburbs of Fairfield and Kew. The bridge is for use exclusively by pedestrians, with cyclists required to dismount before entering the bridge. The bridge was originally built in 1928 with the intention of connecting Kew with the public golf course located on the opposite side of the Yarra River, in Fairfield, replacing a ferry service. It was named after T J Kane, a councillor at the City of Collingwood. In the early hours of Saturday 1 December 1934, as a result of the 1934 Victorian floods, the original bridge was washed downstream and damaged beyond repair. A ferry service replaced the bridge beginning in the days following the collapse. A replacement bridge was constructed in 1935, resembling the design of another bridge further upstream linking Kew to the Yarra Bend Asylum. The suspension of the bridge is made of undressed timber posts, and the deck of the bridge is also wooden. The suspension is made up of steel cables.

The Hawthorn Bridge crosses the Yarra River, five kilometres (3.1 mi) east of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, connecting Bridge Road and Burwood Road. It is the oldest extant bridge over the Yarra River and is one of the oldest metal bridges in Australia. It was constructed in the early wave of major new infrastructure funded by the Victorian gold rush. Designed by Francis Bell, it is a substantial riveted, wrought iron, lattice truss structure, with bluestone abutments and piers.

Sophia Mundi Steiner School is a school located in Abbotsford, Victoria, Australia, that follows Rudolf Steiner's educational philosophy. Schools which follow Rudolf Steiner's theories are known as Steiner schools, or Waldorf schools. Sophia Mundi was founded in 1985 by a group of parents. Classes Prep to Year 12 are based in the St. Mary's building of the Abbotsford Convent complex. A Playgroup is also offered on site.
