Jurong Entertainment Centre was an entertainment centre once located at Jurong East, Singapore.

Jurong Regional Library (Chinese: 裕廊区域图书馆; Malay: Perpustakaan Wilayah Jurong) is a public library located in Jurong East, Singapore. It is located next to JCube and is within walking distances of Jurong East Bus Interchange and Jurong East MRT station. It is the third regional library to be completed after the Tampines and Woodlands regional libraries and is currently the largest public library under the National Library Board network of public libraries. During the construction of the National Library building, it temporarily housed the main collections of the reference library until the opening of the new building on 22 July 2005.

Jurong East MRT station is an elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) interchange station on the North South (NSL) (which terminates at this station) and East West (EWL) lines in Jurong East, Singapore, operated by SMRT Trains. It is located at the heart of Jurong Lake District, within the vicinity of JCube, Jem, Westgate, IMM, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Jurong East Bus Interchange. The station opened on 5 November 1988 as part of the MRT system extension to Jurong. The station was initially the terminus of the Branch line and became the terminus of the NSL after the NSL was merged with the Branch line. An additional track and platforms were added when the station went through upgrades in 2010 as part of the Jurong East Modification Project (JEMP). In 2028, Jurong East station will become an interchange with the Jurong Region Line (JRL). Jurong East station is one of the busiest MRT stations in western Singapore.

Jurong Town Hall Road (Chinese: 裕廊镇大会堂路) is a road in Jurong East, Singapore that connects the Pan Island Expressway and West Coast Road. It was built in 1969 through Jalan Bahru Selatan so that Route 143 could connect to the Jurong Road 10-milestone market. It was named after the Jurong Town Hall, built between May 1971 and March 1974 as the headquarters for the Jurong Town Corporation (now JTC Corporation) which had been formed in June 1968 to develop and manage industrial estates in Jurong.Currently, Jurong Town Hall (also known as Trade Association Hub) and the headquarters of JTC Corporation, The JTC Summit, have addresses of Jurong Town Hall Road. Jurong East MRT station, Jurong Regional Library, JCube and the Science Centre are nearby.

Jurong East Bus Interchange is a bus interchange located in Jurong East, Singapore. An open-air single-level bus terminal, it is connected to the adjacent Jurong East MRT station via a link bridge.

Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH) is a 700-bed hospital located in Jurong East, Singapore. Named after Singaporean late entrepreneur, Ng Teng Fong, the hospital is part of an integrated development together with the adjoining Jurong Community Hospital. It began operations on 30 June 2015 after JurongHealth's move from Alexandra Hospital and was officially opened on 10 October that year.

Jurong East is a planning area and residential town situated in the West Region of Singapore. It borders Jurong West and Boon Lay to the west, Clementi to the east, Tengah and Bukit Batok to the north and Selat Jurong to the south. The Singapore Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management (SIPMM) is a not-for-profit, independent professional organisation founded in 1972 with the aim to enhance managerial effectiveness of professionals in purchasing, logistics, materials and supply chain management. The mission of SIPMM is to lead professional competence in purchasing, materials, logistics, and supply chain management.In 1975, SIPMM became the first Singapore organisation to be admitted to the International Federation of Purchasing & Supply Management (IFPSM). Since then, the Institute has worked with fellow national affiliates of IFPSM, developing strategic relationship with leading institutes worldwide. In 1980, SIPMM initiated closer cooperation of Asia-Pacific institutes within the IFPSM and became the first institute to host the inaugural IFPSM Asia-Pacific regional conference. Subsequently in 1990, the Institute hosted the IFPSM sixth Asia-Pacific regional conference.In 1998, SIPMM conducted a pilot survey on the Singapore Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI). The composite index took into account the Singapore’s economic structure. The Singapore PMI was launched in January 1999 and since then, SIPMM has published the monthly index.
