JCube was a shopping centre located in Jurong East, Singapore that operated from 2 April 2012 to 6 August 2023. It used to house an Olympic-size ice rink and Singapore's first IMAX theatre in the suburbs. It was built on the former site of the Jurong Entertainment Centre. JCube was owned by CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust before it was acquired by CapitaLand Development in 1Q 2022. During JCube's operations, the mall was managed by CapitaLand Retail Management (a wholly owned subsidiary of CapitaLand Investment).

Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH) is a 700-bed hospital located in Jurong East, Singapore. Named after Singaporean late entrepreneur, Ng Teng Fong, the hospital is part of an integrated development together with the adjoining Jurong Community Hospital. Jurong Town Hall Road (Chinese: 裕廊镇大会堂路) is a road in Jurong East, Singapore that connects the Pan Island Expressway and West Coast Road. It was built in 1969 through Jalan Bahru Selatan so that Route 143 could connect to the Jurong Road 10-milestone market. It was named after the Jurong Town Hall, built between May 1971 and March 1974 as the headquarters for the Jurong Town Corporation (now JTC Corporation) which had been formed in June 1968 to develop and manage industrial estates in Jurong.Currently, Jurong Town Hall (also known as Trade Association Hub) and the headquarters of JTC Corporation, The JTC Summit, have addresses of Jurong Town Hall Road. Jurong East MRT station, Jurong Regional Library, JCube and the Science Centre are nearby.

Jurong Regional Library (Chinese: 裕廊区域图书馆; Malay: Perpustakaan Wilayah Jurong) is a public library located in Jurong East, Singapore. It is located next to JCube and is within walking distances of Jurong East Bus Interchange and Jurong East MRT station. It is the third regional library to be completed after the Tampines and Woodlands regional libraries and is currently the largest public library under the National Library Board network of public libraries. During the construction of the National Library building, it temporarily housed the main collections of the reference library until the opening of the new building on 22 July 2005.

The Singapore Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management (SIPMM) is a not-for-profit, independent professional organisation founded in 1972 with the aim to enhance managerial effectiveness of professionals in purchasing, logistics, materials and supply chain management. The mission of SIPMM is to lead professional competence in purchasing, materials, logistics, and supply chain management.In 1975, SIPMM became the first Singapore organisation to be admitted to the International Federation of Purchasing & Supply Management (IFPSM). Since then, the Institute has worked with fellow national affiliates of IFPSM, developing strategic relationship with leading institutes worldwide. In 1980, SIPMM initiated closer cooperation of Asia-Pacific institutes within the IFPSM and became the first institute to host the inaugural IFPSM Asia-Pacific regional conference. Subsequently in 1990, the Institute hosted the IFPSM sixth Asia-Pacific regional conference.In 1998, SIPMM conducted a pilot survey on the Singapore Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI). The composite index took into account the Singapore’s economic structure. The Singapore PMI was launched in January 1999 and since then, SIPMM has published the monthly index.

Jurong East is a planning area and residential town situated in the West Region of Singapore. It borders Jurong West and Boon Lay to the west, Clementi to the east, Tengah and Bukit Batok to the north and Selat Jurong to the south. First developed in the 1970s, it is located approximately 15 km (9.3 mi) west of the Downtown Core district. Jurong East is the 7th most populated planning area in the West Region. Jurong East, along with the entire Jurong area in general, is envisioned to be the country's second central business district (CBD) as part of the Jurong Lake District project.

The Jurong Town Hall, or Trade Association Hub (TA Hub) is a commercial building and the former headquarters of the Jurong Town Corporation. The building is symbolic of the success of Singapore's industrialisation programme in Jurong and was gazetted as a national monument on 2 June 2015. It served as a hub space for head start technology companies in the 2000s. The building was further developed into a new hub for trade associations with Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry as the anchor tenant by 2017. The road Jurong Town Hall Road was named after this building.
