McMichael Creek is a 21.7-mile-long (34.9 km) tributary of Pocono Creek in the Poconos of eastern Pennsylvania in the United States.The tributary Appenzell Creek joins McMichael Creek near the village of Sciota. McMichael Creek drops off the Pocono Plateau and joins Pocono Creek in Stroudsburg.As of May 2021, it is under new ownership.

Appenzell Creek is a 11.8-mile-long (19.0 km) tributary of McMichael Creek in Monroe County, Pennsylvania in the United States. The headwaters feed into Trout Lake in Jackson Township at the Poconos. It meanders in a southwestern direction and joins McMichael Creek just above Sciota. Known to locals as Pensyl Creek, it takes its name from Henry Pensyl, a hunter and trapper who lived in the area in the 18th century. Pensyl Creek Road follows the creek as it flows from the village of Neola to the village of Snydersville.

Christ Hamilton United Lutheran Church and Cemetery is a national historic district consisting of a Lutheran / Reformed church and cemetery in Hamilton Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. The church was built in 1829, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, fieldstone building measuring 50 feet by 40 feet. It features a slate roof and rectangular steeple with delicate spire. Church records indicate that the cemetery was laid out in 1775, making it the oldest cemetery in Stroudsburg. The cemetery has 105 limestone headstones inscribed mostly in German. Burials date from 1793 to 1875. Fraktur artist Johann Adam Eyer was a clerk and teacher at the church.The church and cemetery were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The headquarters are located on West Main Street in the Borough of Stroudsburg in Monroe County. Stroudsburg Area School District encompasses approximately 73 square miles (190 km2). According to 2000 federal census data, it served a resident population of 30,713 . By 2010, the district's population increased to 36,502 people, by 2015 it had declined to 35,787. In 2009, the district residents' per capita income was $22,137, while the median family income was $56,546. In the Commonwealth, the median family income was $49,501 and the United States median family income was $49,445, in 2010. The district is one of the 500 public school districts of Pennsylvania. According to the Pennsylvania Budget and Policy Center, 44.1% of the district's pupils lived at 185% or below the Federal Poverty Level as shown by their eligibility for the federal free or reduced price school meal programs in 2012. In 2013 the Pennsylvania Department of Education, reported that 60 students in the Stroudsburg Area School District were homeless.Per District officials, in school year 2007-08 the Stroudsburg Area School District provided basic educational services to 5,906 pupils through the employment of 426 teachers, 364 full-time and part-time support personnel, and 24 administrators. Stroudsburg Area School District received more than $18.9 million in state funding in school year 2007–08. The superintendent of schools was Dr. John A. Toleno. In school year 2009–10, Stroudsburg Area School District provided basic educational services to 5,641 pupils. It employed: 415 teachers, 362 full-time and part-time support personnel, and 25 administrators. Stroudsburg Area School District received more than $21.3 million in state funding in school year 2009–10. In February 2017, Superintendent Cosmas Curry reported the district employed 379 classroom teachers and student enrollment was 5,087 students.
