Our Lady of the Underpass was a salt stain and purported appearance of the Virgin Mary under the Kennedy Expressway along Fullerton Avenue in Chicago that was noticed in 2005. The site became a pilgrimage site for local Catholics. Later it became a target for various acts of vandalism. The Illinois Department of Transportation judged that the stain was probably formed by salt run-off.

The Golden Nugget Pancake House is a chain of family restaurants originally launched in Florida but now operating exclusively in Chicago, Illinois. The restaurants serve breakfast 24 hours a day, and their decor generally has a Western motif.

The Northwestern Terra Cotta Company Building is a historic building at 1701-1711 W. Terra Cotta Place in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Constructed in 1905, the building housed the offices for the Northwestern Terra Cotta Company's terra cotta production plant. In the early twentieth century, terra cotta was a popular decorative building material in both Chicago and the country as a whole; the newly developed Chicago school of architecture in particular used terra cotta extensively. The Northwestern Terra Cotta Company was one of the leading national producers of the material, and its terra cotta was used in Chicago architectural landmarks such as the Rookery Building, the Wrigley Building, and the Sullivan Center. The plant closed in 1932 and has been largely demolished, leaving the office building as its only major remnant.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 8, 1989.

Constellation is a performing arts nightclub in Chicago, Illinois, "with an emphasis on forward-thinking practices particularly in the areas of jazz, improvised, experimental, and contemporary classical music." Constellation was founded in 2013 by Mike Reed, a Chicago-based drummer and composer. Reed was originally Constellation's for-profit (nominally) owner and then, from 2018 through at least 2021, its nonprofit organization president.Constellation has replaced, and expanded upon, the now-closed Velvet Lounge as a hub of avant garde jazz and improvised music in Chicago. Musicians who have played at Constellation include Fred Hersch, Bobby Broom, Ari Brown, Josh Berman, and many others.

St. Hedwig's Church (Polish: Kościół Świętej Jadwigi) is a historic parish church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago located in Chicago, Illinois. Constructed in the grand Polish Cathedral style, it is one of the many monumental Polish churches visible from the Kennedy Expressway. The church is located at 2226 North Hoyne Avenue.

The Chicago rat hole is a hole shaped like a rat in the sidewalk of West Roscoe Street in the Roscoe Village neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, United States. After existing for decades, it became a viral phenomenon on social media (mainly Twitter) in January 2024, attracting tourists to the site. An apparent example of accidental lifecasting, the hole was described by The New York Times as "Chicago's Stonehenge", as its origins are unknown.

Gross Park is a public park in Lakeview, Chicago located at the 1700 West block of Henderson St between Paulina St and Ravenswood Ave. Its maintenance is shared between the Chicago Park District and Gross Park Neighbors Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Each summer the park hosts a Shakespeare in the Park event. The park memorializes Samuel Eberly Gross, the property developer of the neighborhood in the 1880’s. He took inspiration from the boulevards of Europe and included a green space in his urban plan for the area, which at the time was outside of the urban area of Chicago. In 1998, the invasive Asian long-horned beetle caused the loss of many trees in the park; the Chicago Park District and Gross Park Neighbors Foundation began restoration the following year. In 2008, the Illinois Department of Agriculture announced that it had eradicated the Asian long-horned beetle in Chicago.

The former Cathedral of All Saints of the Polish National Catholic Church in Chicago, referred to in Polish as Katedra Wszystkich Świętych is a historic church building located in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago in Cook County, Illinois, United States. Colloquially referred to as the White Cathedral, it is a prime example of the so-called 'Polish Cathedral style' of churches in both its opulence and grand scale. Along with St. Wenceslaus, St. Mary of the Angels, and Holy Trinity it is one of the many monumental Polish churches visible from the Kennedy Expressway. Due to the building's high maintenance costs it was sold in December 1993 and now houses Covenant Presbyterian Church of Chicago, a church affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in America. A former chapel at All Saints Polish National Catholic Cemetery on Higgins Avenue and River Road was expanded and now houses the current Cathedral of the Western Diocese of the Polish National Catholic Church.

The Green Exchange is a sustainable and green retail and office development project in the Logan Square community area of Chicago, Illinois that is designed to house eco-friendly businesses and organizations. Developers of the building have been awarded LEED Platinum status for their rehabilitation of a historic landmark four-story manufacturing facility originally built in 1914. The retail and office space is open to the public and is intended to serve as an important Midwest destination for green consumers.

The Vassar Swiss Underwear Company Building is an industrial loft building located at 2545 West Diversey Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. It is also known as the Cooper Lamp Building and as of 2010 is slated to house the Green Exchange, a combination business incubator and office space. The building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008, and as of 2010 is being redeveloped into the Green Exchange, a site for small businesses dedicated to natural products and the environment.

The Chicago Music Exchange is a music equipment retailer based in Chicago. Located at 3316 North Lincoln Avenue, CME is known for its museum-like showroom and collection of vintage guitars and basses. It is a major Chicago destination for musicians.

Paulina is an 'L' station on the Chicago Transit Authority's Brown Line. It is an elevated station with two side platforms, located at 3410 North Lincoln Avenue (3400 N; 1700 W), in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood, close to Roscoe Village. The stations that are adjacent to Paulina are Addison, about three eighths of a mile (0.6 km) to the northwest and Southport, about three eighths of a mile (0.6 km) to the east.
