The Dutch ambassador in Ankara is the official representative of the Government in The Hague to the Government of Turkey.

Institute for Armenian Research (Ermeni Araştırmaları Enstitüsü; EREN;ERAREN) was a privately funded think tank sub-working group in Turkey established in April 2001 by the Center for Eurasian Strategic Studies. Ömer Engin Lütem was the chairman of ERAREN. In 2009, ERAREN was dissolved. It decided to carry out its activities as Center for Eurasian Studies (AVİM).

The embassy is currently located at 24/1 Hilal Neighbourhood Sukarno Street (formerly named Hollanda Street) Cankaya 06550 Ankara. Previously, it was located at 10 Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Street (formerly named Abdullah Cevdet Street) in Çankaya, Ankara. Indonesia also has a consulate general in Istanbul.The first Indonesian ambassador to Turkey was Subiyakto (1959–1964). The embassy opened a year earlier in 1958 with Baharsjah as Chargés d'affaires. The current ambassador, Lalu Muhammad Iqbal, was appointed by President Joko Widodo on 7 January 2019.

The THF Sport Hall (Turkish: THF Spor Salonu) is an indoor arena for handball matches located in Ankara, Turkey. It is situated within the THF complex. The venue, having a seating capacity of 2,700, was opened in 2012.

Atatürk Museum Mansion (Turkish: Atatürk Müze Köşkü) is a historic house museum in Ankara, Turkey. It was the residence of President Mustafa Kemal Atatürk between 1921 and 1932, during the early years of the Republic. The museum is situated on Çankaya St. within the Çankaya Campus. It is situated right beside the Çankaya Mansion.

The Embassy of the Philippines in Ankara is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of the Philippines to the Republic of Türkiye (Turkey). Opened in 1991, it is located in the Kazım Özalp neighborhood of the Çankaya District in central Ankara, near the Atatürk Museum Mansion and the Çankaya Mansion.

Atakule is a 125 m (410 feet) high communications and observation tower located in the Çankaya district of central Ankara, Turkey, and is one of the primary landmarks of the city. As the district of Çankaya is itself on a hill, the tower can be spotted from almost anywhere in the city during clear days. The tower's design came from architect Ragıp Buluç and the construction works lasted from 1987 to 1989. The top section of the tower houses an open terrace and a revolving restaurant named Sevilla, which makes a full 360 degree rotation in one hour. On top of Sevilla is another restaurant, Dome, which is non-revolving and located directly under the cupola. Under the terrace is a café, named UFO. The bottom structures house a shopping mall and several indoor and outdoor restaurants. The tower was opened on 13 October 1989 by President Turgut Özal. Due to the ongoing rebuilding of the shopping mall, the tower is now closed to visitors. In Turkish, the word ata means "ancestor" (or "father" in Old Turkic), which is often used as a nickname (Ata) for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder and first President of the Republic of Turkey; while the Turkish word kule means "tower".

Ankara Music and Fine Arts University is a public university in Ankara, Turkey. It was established on 1 July 2017. The university continues its education with 4 Faculties, 1 institute and 1 vocational school. Ankara Music and Fine Arts University is Turkey's first higher education institution with a full focus on music.

İpek University (Turkish: İpek Üniversitesi, lit. 'Silk University') was a private university in Çankaya, the central district of Ankara, Turkey. Established in 2011, the university was one out of fifteen private universities that were closed by the Turkish government in the course of the 2016 Turkish purges.

Başbakanlık Konutu was the official residence of the Prime Minister of Turkey, where he or she lived and held most of his or her official meetings, until 2014.

Ankara's first electoral district is one of three divisions of Ankara province for the purpose of elections to Grand National Assembly of Turkey. It elects sixteen members of parliament (deputies) to represent the district for a five-year term by the D'Hondt method, a party-list proportional representation system.
