The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Ankara (Indonesian: Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia di Ankara; Turkish: Endonezya Cumhuriyeti Ankara Büyükelçiliği) is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Turkey. Indonesia also has a consulate general in Istanbul.The first Indonesian ambassador to Turkey was Subiyakto (1959–1964). The embassy opened a year earlier in 1958 with Baharsjah as Chargés d'affaires. The current ambassador, Lalu Muhammad Iqbal, was appointed by President Joko Widodo on 7 January 2019.

The Battle of Ankara or Angora was fought on 20 July 1402 at the Çubuk plain near Ankara, between the forces of the Ottoman Sultan Bayezid I and the Emir of the Timurid Empire, Timur. The battle was a major victory for Timur, and it led to the Ottoman Interregnum.

The THF Sport Hall (Turkish: THF Spor Salonu) is an indoor arena for handball matches located in Ankara, Turkey. It is situated within the THF complex. The venue, having a seating capacity of 2,700, was opened in 2012.

İpek University (Turkish: İpek Üniversitesi, lit. 'Silk University') was a private university in Çankaya, the central district of Ankara, Turkey. Established in 2011, the university was one out of fifteen private universities that were closed by the Turkish government in the course of the 2016 Turkish purges.

Atakule is a 125 m (410 feet) high communications and observation tower located in the Çankaya district of central Ankara, Turkey, and is one of the primary landmarks of the city. As the district of Çankaya is itself on a hill, the tower can be spotted from almost anywhere in the city during clear days. The tower's design came from architect Ragıp Buluç and the construction works lasted from 1987 to 1989. The top section of the tower houses an open terrace and a revolving restaurant named Sevilla, which makes a full 360 degree rotation in one hour. On top of Sevilla is another restaurant, Dome, which is non-revolving and located directly under the cupola. Under the terrace is a café, named UFO. The bottom structures house a shopping mall and several indoor and outdoor restaurants. The tower was opened on 13 October 1989 by President Turgut Özal. Due to the ongoing rebuilding of the shopping mall, the tower is now closed to visitors. In Turkish, the word ata means "ancestor" (or "father" in Old Turkic), which is often used as a nickname (Ata) for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder and first President of the Republic of Turkey; while the Turkish word kule means "tower".

The Voice of Türkiye (short VOT; until 2022 Voice of Turkey; Turkish: Türkiye'nin Sesi Radyosu, TSR) is the international radio service of Turkish state broadcaster TRT on the internet, Turksat 3A satellite and shortwave. All shortwave broadcasts are transmitted from a single site near Emirler, Ankara Province (39.4016°N 32.8558°E / 39.4016; 32.8558). It is broadcast 24 hours a day in 35 languages, targeting both people of Turkish origin (TSR) and foreigners (VOT). Its schedule mainly includes news, music, educational and cultural programmes. Its transmissions used to start with a piano tune in the hicaz makam.

Atatürk Museum Mansion (Turkish: Atatürk Müze Köşkü) is a historic house museum in Ankara, Turkey. It was the residence of President Mustafa Kemal Atatürk between 1921 and 1932, during the early years of the Republic. The museum is situated on Çankaya St. within the Çankaya Campus. It is situated right beside the Çankaya Mansion.
