Sheffield Apartments is a historic apartment building located at Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1925, and is a three-story, rectangular brick building in the Mission Revival style. The facade is three bays wide, and it features three story bay windows on each side of the center entrance bay. It has 14 apartments.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

William Donaldson House is a historic home located at Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. It was designed by Smith & Warner and built in 1887, and is a 3+1⁄2-story Queen Anne style dwelling funded by William Mayne Donaldson, president of the Donaldson Paper Company. A rear addition was constructed about 1910. It has a stone foundation, brick first story, and wood shingle second and third stories. It features irregular massing, a variety of surface textures, multiple intersecting roofs, bay windows, porch and balconies, and a turret with spindle. The house was converted to apartments in 1925.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Simon Cameron School is a historic school building located at Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1896, and is a two-story, brick and frame building, with a hip roof covered in slate shingles. It sits on a brownstone foundation. It is 12 bays wide and 8 bays deep, with an 8 bay wide, 6 bay deep rear section added in 1900. It is named for Pennsylvania politician Simon Cameron (1799–1889).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

It consists of large Queen Anne and Italianate architecture built in the late 19th century and very early 20th century. The Pennsylvania National Fire Museum is a museum devoted to fire fighter heritage in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States. Verbeke is the namesake for Verbeke Street (formerly Broad Street) and first bought and developed the area. Midtown became named as such following World War II as state government construction expanded further north from the Capitol District. Temple Ohev Sholom, established in 1853, is the oldest Jewish synagogue in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States and its surrounding area. It was established as an Orthodox congregation. In 1867, it became a Reform congregation.

The Holocaust Memorial for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is a Holocaust memorial at Front and Sayford Streets along Riverfront Park, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It was conceived by a committee of Holocaust survivors in 1992 representing the Jewish Community Center of Harrisburg. In light of publicity given to the U.S. Holocaust Museum, a group of survivors that had lived in the Harrisburg area pressed for a local memorial. It was designed by David Ascalon for $200,000 on a site designated by the City of Harrisburg along the public park land adjacent to the Susquehanna River. The Memorial was dedicated in 1994. An annual Yom Hashoah observance is held at the site.
