Major de Sarrià

Sarrià is a neighborhood in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona, Catalonia. Its main street is Major de Sarrià.

Reina Elisenda is a railway station on the Barcelona–Vallès Line, in Sarrià, in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona. It is the northern terminus and only station of a branch line coming from Sarrià station. Since 2016, a shuttle service, designated L12, links the two stations at four-minute intervals during rush hours; before that, it was served as a branch line of L6. The station was opened in 1976 and is situated under Passeig de la Reina Elisenda de Montcada. It can be accessed either from Avinguda de J.V. Foix or Carrer de la Duquessa d'Orleans. At night, it serves as the lines depot.There are posters in the lobby of the station explaining the history of several of the antique trains used by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC).

Sarrià is a railway station located under the Via Augusta at Carrer de l'Hort de la Vila in the Sarrià neighbourhood of the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona. It is served by lines L6 and L12 of the Barcelona Metro, and by lines S1, S2, S5 and S55 of the Metro del Vallès commuter rail system. All these lines are operated by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya, who also run the station.Sarrià station is the junction point between Barcelona Metro line L6 to Reina Elisenda, and the Metro del Vallès lines to Sant Cugat, Terrassa and Sabadell. During off-peak periods it is served by lines L6, S1 and S2, all of which run through to Plaça de Catalunya station. In peak periods additional through service is provide by lines S5 and S55, but in order to provide capacity for this in the tunnel to Plaça de Catalunya, many peak L6 service simply shuttle between Reina Elisenda and Sarrià.The station has four tracks, with three island platform between them, and three accesses. The western pair of tracks are used by L6 trains to and from Reina Elisenda, whilst the eastern pair are used by trains on lines S1, S2, S5 and S55. The two pairs of tracks join in a flat junction just to the south of the station.The first Sarrià station opened in 1863 and was situated at ground level. The current station was opened in 1974. It's expected to become part of the central section of TMB double line L9 & L10.

St. Ignatius College (Catalan: Jesuïtes Sarrià-Sant Ignasi) is a private Catholic primary and secondary school and vocational training facility, located in the Sarrià neighbourhood of Barcelona, in Catalonia, an autonomous community in the northeastern corner of Spain. The school was founded in 1892 by the Society of Jesus.St. Ignatius College currently offers kindergarten, primary, secondary high school, and vocational training; the compulsory part is government subsidized.

Chemical Institute of Sarrià (Spanish: Instituto Químico de Sarriá, Catalan: Institut Químic de Sarrià, IQS) is an educational institution that manages two schools of the Ramon Llull University: IQS School of Engineering and IQS School of Management. The Sarrià Capuchins are a community of the Capuchins that settled in Barcelona in 1578 after a request of the Consell de Cent (ancient city rulers of Barcelona), and against the will of the king Philip II.

Istituto Italiano Statale Comprensivo di Barcellona or the Istituto Italiano Statale Comprensivo "Edoardo Amaldi" is an Italian international school in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Owned by the Italian government, it consists of three parts: Scuole secondarie "Edoardo Amaldi", Scuola primaria "Maria Montessori" and scuola dell'infanzia riconosciuta "Maria Montessori". The International University of Catalonia (UIC Barcelona) is a private university in Barcelona, Spain, created in 1997 and recognized by the Parliament of Catalonia by Law 11/1997, of October 1. The Barcelona Open (currently sponsored by Banc Sabadell) is an annual tennis tournament for male professional players. The event has been held in Barcelona every year from 1953 (except for its cancellation in 2020), and is played on clay courts at the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona. It was an event of the Grand Prix tennis circuit from 1970–1989, except in 1971 when it was part of the World Championship Tennis (WCT) circuit, although it was also open to non-WCT players. The tournament is currently part of the ATP Tour 500 series on the ATP Tour. It is also known as Torneo Godó, Trofeo Conde de Godó, and Open Banc Sabadell. It is Spain's second most important tournament on the ATP Tour after the Madrid Open and the event generally takes place in the last week of April, when temperatures in Barcelona average a daily high of 19 °C (66 °F). Native Spaniard Rafael Nadal has won the singles title a record twelve times (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2021), and in 2017 the center court of the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona was renamed Pista Rafa Nadal (Rafa Nadal Arena).

The Real Club de Tenis Barcelona - 1899 (meaning Royal Barcelona Tennis Club - 1899) is a private tennis club in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The facility has 18 clay courts, including a stadium court with a capacity of 8,400 and show court for 2,000 spectators. Since moving to its current location in the northwest of the city in 1953, the club has hosted the Open Godó tournament, a part of the ATP World Tour's 500 Series. Over the years, the club has hosted many Davis Cup ties of the Spanish team, including the Inter-Zonal final in 1965. The first name of the club was Lawn-Tennis Club Barcelona. In 2017, the centre court was named "Pista Rafa Nadal" after the tennis great Rafael Nadal.
