The Henry B. Plant Museum (Plant Museum) is located in the south wing of Plant Hall on the University of Tampa's campus, located at 401 West Kennedy Boulevard in Tampa, Florida. Plant Hall was originally built by Henry B. Plant as the Tampa Bay Hotel; a 511-room resort-style hotel that opened on February 5, 1891, near the terminus of the Plant System rail line, also forged and owned by Plant. The Plant Museum's exhibits focus on historical Gilded Age tourism in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, the elite lifestyle of the hotel's guests, and the Tampa Bay Hotel's use during the Spanish–American War. As such, the Plant Museum is set up in the Historic House Museum style. Exhibits display artifacts in a manner that reflects the original placement and usage within the related historic building. The Tampa Bay Hotel was designed by architect J.A. Wood, who also designed the Old Hillsborough County Courthouse in 1892 in Tampa, Florida, as well as the Oglethorpe Hotel and the Mahoney-McGarvey House in Brunswick, Georgia.

The Old School House is a historic landmark located on the University of Tampa campus in Tampa, Florida, United States. Built in 1858, it is one of Tampa's oldest standing buildings, and has been relocated twice from its original site. On December 4, 1974, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in recognition of its cultural and historical significance. Since 1931, the School House has been supported by the DeSoto Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. Today, the building stands as a testament to Tampa's rich history and architectural heritage, and is open for viewing by appointment and during semi-annual open house events.

The University of Tampa (UT) is a private university in Tampa, Florida. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. UT offers more than 200 programs of study, including 22 master's degrees and a broad variety of majors, minors, pre-professional programs, and certificates. Plant Hall, UT's central building, once housed the Tampa Bay Hotel, a resort built by Henry B. Plant in 1891, and the Moorish minarets atop the distinctive structure have long been seen as an iconic symbol of Tampa.

The Macdonald–Kelce Library is a library serving the University of Tampa. Named after John L. Macdonald and Merl C. Kelce, the library opened on October 19, 1969. The building was designed by the architectural firm Fletcher-Valenti of Tampa, Florida.

The T. C. Taliaferro House (also known as the Paul T. Ward House) is a historic home in Tampa, Florida. It is located at 305 South Hyde Park. It was built by architects Grable, Weber & Groves in the Classical Revival style in the late 19th century. It represents the height of style from 1875 to 1899. On October 1, 1974, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The building presently (2017) houses the Helen Gordon Davis Centre for Women.

Plant Field was the first major athletic venue in Tampa, Florida. It was built in 1899 by Henry B. Plant on the grounds of his Tampa Bay Hotel to host various events and activities for guests, and it consisted of a large field ringed by an oval race track flanked by a large covered grandstand on the western straightaway with portable seating used to accommodate a wide variety of uses. Over the ensuing decades, Plant Field drew Tampa residents and visitors to see horse racing, car racing, baseball games, entertainers, and politicians. The stadium also hosted the first professional football and first spring training games in Tampa and was the long-time home of the Florida State Fair. Al Lopez Field opened in 1954 and Tampa Stadium opened in 1967, and they became the preferred venues for most of the events that had long been held at Plant Field. The aging facility was acquired by the adjacent University of Tampa (UT) in the late 1960s, and in 1971, the name of the grandstand was changed to Pepin-Rood Stadium in honor of university benefactors. After the Florida State Fair moved to a much larger site east of downtown in 1976, Plant Field fell into disuse. Beginning in the 1980s, the University of Tampa began gradually converting Plant Field to other uses. The race track was removed, a series of academic buildings and student housing were built on the periphery of the venue's large footprint, and the last remaining section of the old grandstand was torn down in 2002. However, portions of the original playing field have been incorporated into new venues for the university's athletic programs along with student recreation.

Bob Martinez Sports Center is a 3,432-seat multi-purpose arena in Tampa, Florida named after former Tampa mayor and governor of Florida, Bob Martinez. The facility is home to the University of Tampa Spartans men's and women's basketball teams, as well as the Spartans volleyball team. The Spartan Sports Center, as it was then known, hosted the Continental Basketball Association's Tampa Bay Thrillers for their 1985–86 season. It was also the planned home of the Tampa Bay Strong Dogs of the American Basketball Association, but the team folded without playing a game in Tampa. The facility is on the University of Tampa campus across the Hillsborough River from downtown Tampa and was opened in 1984.

The Hutchinson House is a historic home completed in 1908 in Tampa, Florida, United States. It is a three-story brick building in the Second Empire architecture. The building includes a high mansard roof and large porch with tall Corinthian columns.It was built by Currie J. Hutchinson, a local merchant, and is one of the few structures of its style in Florida. It was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on November 1, 1977, and is located at 304 Plant Avenue.

The Rivergate Tower, also known as the Sykes building or the Beer Can Building, is a 454-foot-tall (138 m) skyscraper in Tampa, Florida. With 31 floors, it is the seventh tallest building in Tampa. Rivergate Tower's principal tenant is Sykes Enterprises, a publicly-traded company that operates technical help and customer support centers internationally.

Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is an 8 acres (3.2 ha) public park located along the Hillsborough river in downtown Tampa, Florida that opened in its current configuration in 2010. It is adjacent to the Tampa Riverwalk, Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, Tampa Museum of Art, Glazer Children's Museum, and Rivergate Tower. The park overlooks the University of Tampa's Plant Hall, which is directly across the river. The park is in an area known as the Waterfront Arts District.

Curtis Hixon Hall was an indoor sports arena, convention center, concert venue, and special events center which was located at 600 Ashley Drive along the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa, Florida. It opened in 1965, and was the primary concert, indoor sports, and civic gathering place for the city of Tampa for about twenty years. The construction of newer and more specialized facilities around town during the 1980s gradually reduced the number of events held at Curtis Hixon Hall, and the opening of the much larger Tampa Convention Center in 1990 made it obsolete. Curtis Hixon Hall was demolished in 1993, and the land was converted into a public park. The park was redesigned and incorporated into the Tampa Riverwalk in 2010, and the facility's former footprint is now home to the Tampa Museum of Art, the Glazer Children’s Museum, and the northern portions of Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. The Hall's namesake, Curtis Hixon, was a long-time mayor of Tampa who died in 1956 while serving his fourth term in the office.
