Sant Cugat (Barcelona–Vallès Line)

The Monastery of Sant Cugat (Catalan: Monestir de Sant Cugat, Spanish: Monasterio de San Cugat del Vallés) is a Benedictine abbey in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Catalonia, Spain. Founded in the ninth century, and under construction until the 14th century, it was the most important monastery in the county of Barcelona. Its most notable architectural feature is its large Romanesque cloister.

The National Archive of Catalonia (ANC, Catalan: Arxiu Nacional de Catalunya, Occitan: Archiu Nacional de Catalonha, Spanish: Archivo Nacional de Cataluña), is a body created by the Generalitat of Catalonia by decree 28 November 1980. Located in Sant Cugat del Vallès, it is the Catalonia government's official archive, and holds both government and private documents relating to Catalonia's society, politics, economics and history. As government's historical archive, the ANC collects, preserves and disseminates the most relevant records of Catalonia's political and administrative activity of the departments, institutions and companies that make up the Government of Catalonia.

The Sant Cugat Museum (Catalan: Museu de Sant Cugat, Spanish: Museo de Sant Cugat) was opened on 23 April 2003; its mission was to oversee the conservation and dissemination of the historic, artistic and cultural heritage of Sant Cugat del Vallès in Catalonia. It is part of the Barcelona Provincial Council Local Museum Network and has two centres: the Sant Cugat Monastery and Casa Aymat plus two other buildings, the Celler Modernista and the Chapel of Sant Domenec. In both areas there are spaces reserved for temporary exhibitions related to art, history and local and universal heritage. In addition, the Museum works to recover the heritage and memory of the town, periodically organising walks that help people discover local history and heritage.

Valldoreix is a railway station in Sant Cugat del Vallès in the province of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It is served by lines S1, S2, S5, and S55 of the Metro del Vallès commuter rail system, which are operated by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya, who also run the station.The station is situated on a curve, and has twin tracks, with two side platforms. It is in fare zone 2C of the Autoritat del Transport Metropolità fare system.Although the line through Valldoreix opened in 1917, linking Les Planes with Sant Cugat del Vallès, the station itself did not open until 1931.

Mira-Sol is a railway station of the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) train system in the province of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It is in the municipality Sant Cugat del Vallès, in the comarca of Vallès Occidental. It is serviced by FGC lines S1, and S5. The station is in fare zone 2C.The station was opened in 1948 even though trains had already been passing through the station since 1918.

Torre Negra is a 12th-century fort built in 1145 in Catalonia, Spain, to defend the territories of Sant Cugat.Torre Negra is a fortified building built in a strategic defensive position. The fort consists of three floors and an observation platform with arrow and cannon windows on some angles. Most of the structure is made of stone and most the windows have iron bars.

La Floresta is a railway station in Sant Cugat del Vallès in the province of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Valldoreix is a community that is part of the Sant Cugat del Vallès municipality, located in the Barcelona province. It has the status of a "decentralised municipal entity" (EMD) within the municipality. According to a census in 2015 it has 8,096 inhabitants.
