Holywell Row is a village in Suffolk, England. It is part of the civil parish of Beck Row, Holywell Row and Kenny Hill. In 2018 it had an estimated population of 570.

Culturally, the village has an old church and a beacon dating from the time of the Battle of Trafalgar. A Victoria Cross recipient, Ron Middleton, is buried in the local cemetery. Royal Air Force Mildenhall or more simply RAF Mildenhall (IATA: MHZ, ICAO: EGUN) is a Royal Air Force station located near Mildenhall in Suffolk, England. Despite its status as a Royal Air Force station, it primarily supports United States Air Force (USAF) operations, and is currently the home of the 100th Air Refueling Wing (100 ARW). During the Second World War, RAF Bomber Command used the station for operational combat missions until 1945. Placed on standby status after the war, it was reopened by the Royal Air Force and became a USAF-RAF joint operation base on 11 July 1950. It was assigned to Strategic Air Command (SAC), and began hosting B-50 Superfortresses in 1951, and KC-97 Stratofreighters from 1953 until 1958. The Military Air Transport Service transferred its main United Kingdom terminal to Mildenhall in 1958. In the late 1970s and throughout the 1980s U-2 and SR-71 Blackbird operations took place from the base. On 8 January 2015, the United States Department of Defense announced that operations at RAF Mildenhall would end and be relocated to Germany (Spangdahlem Air Base) and elsewhere within the UK. After a period of uncertainty it was confirmed in July 2020 that the relocation of operations would no longer take place. RAF Mildenhall, together with its sister base RAF Lakenheath, have the largest United States Air Force presence in the United Kingdom.

Worlington is a village and civil parish in the English county of Suffolk and in the old hundred of Lackford. It is recorded in the Domesday Book as Wirilintona. Worlington lies on the south bank of the River Lark on the B1102 Fordham–Mildenhall road one mile south-west of Mildenhall. The B1102 (The Street) forms the main road with Golf Links Road heading south from the centre of the village. Worlington Golf Links Halt railway station used to serve the golf club. Administratively, Worlington forms part of the district of West Suffolk.

Beck Row, Holywell Row and Kenny Hill is a civil parish in the Forest Heath district of Suffolk, England. According to the 2001 census, it had a population of 4,048. The parish covers an area to the north of Mildenhall, including Beck Row, Holywell Row and Kenny Hill. The American military base at RAF Mildenhall is one of the main employers of this parish and is located in Beck Row, with farming and agriculture coming in second. Beck Row has an old Methodist Church where many of the locals are buried. The area around the parish includes heavily forested and heavily cultivated land. It is located in the famous fertile farming area of England; The Fens. A popular pub in the town of Beck Row is The Bird in Hand. There is also a Londis grocery store, beauty shop, Kebab restaurant, and a pet store. The parish was formed in 1999, having previously been part of Mildenhall parish.

Worlington Golf Links Halt railway station was a railway station on the Cambridge to Mildenhall railway. It served the village of Worlington, Suffolk, England, and closed in 1962.

The Royal Worlington and Newmarket Golf Club is a golf club located near Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, England. The nine-hole layout is consistently ranked in the top 100 courses in Britain and Ireland, and the "Sacred Nine" (as described by Bernard Darwin) is reputed to be the best nine-hole course in the world.The club was founded in 1893, and has been home to the Cambridge University Golf Club for over 100 years. Harry Colt was the first Cambridge Blue Captain in 1889. Many well-known and colourful amateur golfers have graced the club since and as one reviewer put it, "there seems more history per hole than at any other club in England".The course is known for its difficult green complexes, and sandy soil that allows for excellent conditioning even in the winter. Royal Worlington's nine-hole course includes two par fives, three par threes, and four par fours (par 35), and measures 3155 yards.

The Cambridge University Golf Club is the golf club for the University of Cambridge, England. It comprises the Blues team, the second-team Cambridge University Golf Club Stymies, and the Ladies team. The club was founded in 1869, and the first University Golf Match was played against Oxford in 1878. Members who play in the University Golf Match are awarded a Full Blue, while those who play against Oxford for the Stymies are awarded Second Team Colours.

Aspal Close is an 18.9 hectare Local Nature Reserve in Beck Row in Suffolk. It is owned by West Suffolk District Council and managed by the council together with Aspal Close Management Committee.This site has grassland, woodland and scrub. Almost 300 plant species and six bats have been recorded, and there are around 200 ancient oaks, some of which may be 1,000 years old. There is a car park and a football pitch. The site is protected by Fields in Trust through a legal "Deed of Dedication" safeguarding the future of the space as public recreation land for future generations to enjoy.There is access from St John Street.

Mildenhall College Academy is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Mildenhall, Suffolk, England. The school was built in the 1970s as Mildenhall Upper School and opened to students in 1976. Previously, it was awarded Technology, Applied Learning and Science College status and changed its name to Mildenhall College of Technology. In 2012 two extra year groups formally joined the school, Years 7 and 8 pupils educated at the former Riverside Middle School site, at Sheldrick Way. The school reverted to its original name of Mildenhall College at this time. The school converted to academy status on 4 July 2014 and was renamed Mildenhall College Academy. On 14 June 2020 the academy moved to its new main building in the Mildenhall Hub at Sheldrick Way. MCA6 operates a separate but adjacent specialised sixth form building. The catchment area includes two large USAF contingents at RAF Mildenhall and RAF Lakenheath. From 2013-14 Mildenhall College Academy worked in partnership with the Gymnasium Theodorianum School in Paderborn, Germany to create a monument commemorating the Christmas Truce. The monument is thought to be the first of its kind in Europe. It is located in the Peace Village of Mesen, Belgium.Since September 2021, a post 16 football and education programme partnership has run with Ipswich Town F.C. which allows students of Mildenhall College Academy to represent the football club whilst working on their current studies in a combined setting.

Mildenhall Stadium is a speedway, stock car racing and Greyhound Board of Great Britain regulated greyhound racing venue located in Mildenhall, Suffolk between Cambridge and Norwich. The stadium is known as Suffolk Downs when greyhound racing takes place.The stadium has a Race View Restaurant and a fish and chip shop as well as the Fen Men bar licensed bar. There is a second licensed bar underneath the home straight grandstand. Speedway is held on Sundays (April to October).

Wamil Way is a cricket ground in Mildenhall, Suffolk with two cricket fields, in a picturesque setting beside the River Lark. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1976, when Suffolk played Huntingdonshire. The ground hosted its first Minor Counties Championship match in the same year when Suffolk played Norfolk. From 1977 to present, the ground has hosted 30 Minor Counties Championship matches and 2 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches.The ground has also hosted List-A matches. The first List-A match played on the ground was between Suffolk and the Lancashire Cricket Board in the 2000 NatWest Trophy. The ground has hosted 2 further List-A matches involving Suffolk, against the Essex Cricket Board in the 2nd round of the 2001 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy and against Nottinghamshire in the 3rd round of the same competition. In local domestic cricket, the ground is the home of Mildenhall Cricket Club who play in the East Anglian Premier Cricket League.
