Manorbier railway station

Manorbier (; Welsh: Maenorbŷr [mɑɨnɔrˈbɨːr]) is a village, community and parish on the south coast of Pembrokeshire, Wales. The name means the 'Manor of Pŷr'. The community includes Jameston, Lydstep and Manorbier Newton. An electoral ward with the same name exists. It stretches inland to St Florence and at the 2011 Census, the population was 2,083. The area is served by the West Wales Line stopping at Manorbier railway station. Manorbier is within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and is a popular tourist attraction with Manorbier Castle, St James's Church, the sandy beach, cliffs, and part of the Wales Coast Path.

Manorbier Castle (Welsh: Castell Maenorbŷr) is a Norman castle in Manorbier, 5 miles (8.0 km) southwest of Tenby, Wales. It was founded in the late 11th century by the Anglo-Norman de Barry family. The castle was part of a mesne lordship under the control of the medieval Earls of Pembroke.

Royal Air Force Manorbier, or more simply RAF Manorbier, was a Royal Air Force airfield near Manorbier, Pembrokeshire, Wales. The site was first used in 1933 as a mixed civilian/military airfield and was the base for 'Y' Flight of No. 1 Anti-Aircraft Co-operation Unit RAF in 1937, using de Havilland DH.82 Queen Bee unmanned radio-controlled target drone. The airfield was passed on to the War Office in September 1946.Air Defence Range (ADR) Manorbier is located within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It is currently used by the Ministry of Defence and is the sole UK range used for the High Velocity Missile in the anti-aircraft role. The range comes under Defence Training Estate Pembrokeshire, and was formed out of merging the anti-aircraft school of Artillery at Larkhill and the field at Manorbier in 1972. It is now the main UK Close Air Defense (CAD) range for the British Army.

St James's Church, Manorbier is a Grade I-listed parish church in Manorbier, Pembrokeshire, Wales. The church dates from the 12th century, and has been considerably altered over the years, though medieval ceiling paintings in the porch survive. The church has a slender tower of the local type and a bellcote. The chancel was built in about 1250 on older foundations with the transepts added in the same period.There are three military graves in the churchyard dating between 1918 and 1920 that are looked after by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

Beaver's Hill Halt railway station served the town of Tenby, Pembrokeshire, Wales, from 1905 to 1964 on the Pembroke and Tenby Railway.

Royal Air Force Carew Cheriton, or more simply RAF Carew Cheriton, is a former Royal Air Force station located near Carew, Pembrokeshire. It was situated 4.7 miles (7.6 km) north west of Tenby. It covered and more, the same site of the First World War airship station, RNAS Pembroke (aka Milton), which had been decommissioned and sold off by the Admiralty during the Interwar period. It opened in the 1939, for RAF Coastal Command. The station was transferred to RAF Technical Training Command in 1942 and closed in 1945.

Manorbier Newton is a small village in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park within the parish and community of Manorbier. The Pembroke River rises at nearby Hogeston Hill to flow past Lamphey and Pembroke Castle.

St Mary's Church, Carew, is the parish church of Carew, Pembrokeshire, Wales and a Grade I listed building. Lewis's Topographical Dictionary of Wales states that the church is dedicated to St John the Baptist, but the reason for this is unclear. The church is in the small village of Carew Cheriton in the southwest of the parish.
