Fayetteville Confederate Cemetery

The Walker Family Plot is a historic cemetery on East Rock Road in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Located just east of the Fayetteville Confederate Cemetery, this small cemetery stands ringed by a low wrought iron fence. It is the burial site of many members of the locally prominent Walker family, with burials dating to 1838. Its most notable burial is that of David Walker (d. 1879), a lawyer, judge, and leading political figure and landowner of the region.The cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

The Ridge House is a historic house at 230 West Center street in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It is owned by the Washington County Historical Society, and is open for tours by appointment. At the core of this two-story clapboarded house is a log dog trot structure, built c. 1835 and occupied by one of Fayetteville's first doctors. That original structure, still visible in parts of the interior, was repeatedly extended and enlarged to achieve its present appearance as a five-bay house with a projecting central front porch. A 19th-century leanto extends the building to the rear, giving it the profile of a classic New England saltbox, a house type rarely seen in Arkansas. The house was purchased in 1840 by the widow of John Ridge, the Cherokee leader who was assassinated after signing a treaty leading to the Cherokee removal.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

The Wilson-Pittman-Campbell-Gregory House is a historic house at 405 East Dickson Street in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It is a two-story brick structure, with a late 19th-century two-story kitchen addition to the rear, and a modern single-story ell. Its current west-facing front dates stylistically to the 1870s, with Italianate brackets, engaged posts, and balustrade, but is a 1930s reconstruction of the original. Prominent local owners of the building include James Pittman, a Civil War colonel, Benjamin F. Campbell, a businessman, and James Gregory, a local politician.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The Lynn Shelton American Legion Post No. 27 is a historic clubhouse at 28 South College Avenue in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It is a two-story stone building, designed by local architect T. Ewing Shelton and built in 1939–40. The first floor consists of courses of quarry-faced ashlar stone, while the second consists of rough-cut rubblestone laid in irregular courses. It was built for the local chapter of the American Legion, and sold into private hands in 1994. It now houses office space.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

The Walker House is a historic house on South Knerr Drive in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The oldest portion of this two-story brick T-shaped house was built in 1872 by David Walker, a prominent local lawyer, judge, politician, and landowner. Its main facade is covered by a two-story porch with ornamental carved brackets. The rear extension was added in 1878. The house has been in the hands of Knerr family descendants since 1910.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The Washington County Jail is a historic former civic building at 90 South College Avenue in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Built in 1896, this building was the fourth to serve as county jail, and was in use until 1973, making it the longest tenured in county history. The Romanesque Revival building was designed by W. B. Reese, and is locally unusual and distinctive for its medieval appearance. It is built out of load-bearing stone, square cut and laid in irregular courses, with a rough quarry-cut finish. Most of the building is of darker shades with trim in lighter shades. Nominally two stories in height, the rightmost bay has a square tower with crenellated parapet.The building, which is now in private hands, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

The Washington County Courthouse is the name of a current courthouse and that of a historic one in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the county seat of Washington County. The historic building, built in 1905, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. The historic courthouse is the fifth building to serve Washington County, with the prior buildings located on the Historic Square where the Old Post Office is today. The building is one of the prominent historic buildings that compose the Fayetteville skyline, in addition to Old Main. A new building was acquired in 1989 to better serve Washington County's county administration needs. The present-day courthouse is located at the intersection of College Avenue and Dickson Street, just north of historic building. Most county offices are located in the new building, with the historic courthouse serving as a repository for county records.

Headquarters House, also known as the Colonel Tebbetts place, is a historic house museum at 118 East Dickson Street in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Built in 1850, it saw action in the American Civil War, serving as a headquarters for both the Union and Confederacy. During the action at Fayetteville, the house was attacked by Confederate troops while serving as a Union outpost. The building was donated to the Washington County Historical Society as a museum in 1967 and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

The Warren Segraves House is a historic house at 217 Oklahoma Way in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It is a two-story structure, finished in vertical board siding and brick. Its street-facing east facade has small windows, while the western facade is almost all glass, providing view over the valley to the west. The house was built in 1959 to a design by Arkansas architect Warren Segraves for his family's use, and is a good example of Mid-Century Modern residential architecture. Its most distinctive feature is a series of diamond-shaped panels that give the roof an accordion shape.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.

The Frisco Depot (Frisco being a common shortening of the St. Louis – San Francisco Railway) in Fayetteville, Arkansas, is a railroad depot built in 1925. The last passenger trains left Frisco Depot in 1965, and starting in 2011, the depot's interior houses a Chipotle Mexican Grill. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 8, 1988.

The John Paul Hammerschmidt Federal Building, located 1/2 block off the Fayetteville Historic Square in downtown Fayetteville, Arkansas is home to the Fayetteville division of the United States District Court for the Western District of Arkansas.
