Mason High School (Texas)

William Mason High School, also known as Mason High School (WMHS or MHS), is a four-year public high school located in the Mason City Schools district in Mason, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Mason is a city in southwestern Warren County, Ohio, United States, approximately 22 miles (35 km) north of downtown Cincinnati. As of the 2020 census, Mason's population was 34,792.Mason is home to Kings Island amusement park and one of the largest tennis stadiums in the world, the Lindner Family Tennis Center, home of the Western & Southern Open, one of the world's top tennis tournaments for both men and women.

Mason City Schools (officially the Mason City School District) is a city school district that primarily serves Mason and Deerfield Township in Warren County, Ohio, United States. As of 2018, the district has 10,627 students. Its high school, William Mason High School, is the largest in Ohio by enrollment.

Royalmont Academy is a private PK–12 Catholic school located in Mason, Ohio, United States. The non-diocesan school is located within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Royalmont is divided into a half-day and all-day preschool, a kindergarten–8th grade division, and the Royalmont Academy Classical Preparatory High School. As of 2017, 106 students are enrolled at Royalmont, including 50 in the high school division, plus 17 in the preschool.

Mars Hill Academy is a private, PK-12, classical Christian school, located in Mason, Ohio. It is a member of the Association of Classical and Christian Schools. It was established in 1996.

The 1986 LPGA Championship was held May 29 to June 1 at Jack Nicklaus Golf Center at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio, a suburb northeast of Cincinnati. Played on the Grizzly Course, this was the 32nd edition of the LPGA Championship. Entering the final round four strokes behind, Pat Bradley birdied the last hole for a 68 to win by a stroke over runner-up Patty Sheehan. It was the fifth of her six major championships, the second of three in 1986, and completed the career grand slam. With the win, Bradley became the first to surpass $2 million in earnings on the LPGA Tour.Defending champion Nancy Lopez did not compete; she gave birth to her second daughter a few days earlier.

The 1983 LPGA Championship was the 29th LPGA Championship, played June 9–12 at Jack Nicklaus Golf Center at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio, a suburb northeast of Cincinnati. Seven strokes back after the third round, Patty Sheehan shot a 66 (−6) to win the first of her six major titles, two strokes ahead of runner-up Sandra Haynie, the 54-hole leader.

Defending champion Patty Sheehan shot 131 (−13) on the weekend to win the second of her three LPGA Championships, ten strokes ahead of runners-up Pat Bradley and Beth Daniel.

The 1989 LPGA Championship was held May 30 to June 2 at Jack Nicklaus Golf Center at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio, a suburb northeast of Cincinnati. Played on the Grizzly Course, this was the 35th edition of the LPGA Championship. Nancy Lopez shot a final round 66 (−6) for 274 (−14), three strokes ahead of runner-up Ayako Okamoto, the third round leader. It was the last of three major titles for Lopez; all came on the Grizzly Course at the LPGA Championship.It was the also the last LPGA Championship at Kings Island, which had hosted twelve consecutive championships since 1978. The Kroger Senior Classic on the Senior PGA Tour replaced it in 1990.

Played on the Grizzly Course, this was the 34th edition of the LPGA Championship. Sherri Turner birdied the final two holes for a final round 67 and won her only major championship, one stroke ahead of runner-up Amy Alcott. Turner began the round six strokes behind Alcott, the 54-hole leader, in a tie for tenth place. It was the first of her three LPGA Tour wins.

The 1981 LPGA Championship was the 27th LPGA Championship, played June 11–14 at Jack Nicklaus Golf Center at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio, a suburb northeast of Cincinnati. Donna Caponi sank a fifteen-foot (4.5 m) birdie putt on the final green to win her second LPGA Championship, a stroke ahead of runners-up Jerilyn Britz and Pat Meyers. It was Caponi's fourth and final major title.
