Regent Park

St Bartholomew's Anglican Church (also known as St Bartholomew's, Regent Park) is a parish of the Diocese of Toronto in the Anglican Church of Canada. It is a ministry in collaboration with the Cathedral Church of St. James. Located in the Regent Park area of Toronto, the congregation operates several outreach programmes. It is an Anglo-Catholic parish maintaining 'Full Catholic Privileges'.

St. David was an Ontario provincial riding that existed from 1926 to 1987. It covered a section of the eastern city of Toronto east of Sherbourne Street and west of the Don River. The riding lasted until 1987 when it was merged with the neighbouring St. George to create a larger district called St. George—St. David.

Toronto Centre is a provincial electoral district in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Since 1999 it has elected one member to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. It was created in 1999 as Toronto Centre—Rosedale from most of St. George—St. David and parts of St. Andrew—St. Patrick, Fort York, when ridings were redistributed to match their federal counterparts. From 1999 to 2007 the riding included the area of Toronto from Avenue Road/University Avenue in the west to the Don River and the city limits in the east and the Mount Pleasant Cemetery and the CPR in the north. In 2007, the riding was abolished and redistributed mostly into Toronto Centre. It lost the area west of Yonge Street and south of College Street plus Toronto Island to Trinity—Spadina. It also gained some parts of Toronto—Danforth as the riding's east border was altered to continue along the Don River past the former city limits to Pottery Road to Bayview Avenue to the CPR. Another boundary change altered the borders around the Rosehill Reservoir.The Ontario Legislative Building was located within this district until the 2015 electoral redistribution.

Toronto Centre (French: Toronto-Centre) is a federal electoral district in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1872 to 1925, and since 1935, under the names Centre Toronto (1872–1903), Toronto Centre (1903–1925, and since 2004), Rosedale (1935–1997), and Toronto Centre—Rosedale (1997–2004). Toronto Centre covers the heart of Downtown Toronto. The riding contains areas such as Regent Park (Canada's first social housing development), St. James Town (a largely immigrant area and the most densely populated neighbourhood in Canada), Cabbagetown, Church and Wellesley (a historic LGBTQ2 neighbourhood), Ryerson University, The Toronto Eaton Centre and part of the city's financial district (the east side of Bay Street). At just under six square kilometres, it is the smallest riding in Canada by area.

The School of Toronto Dance Theatre is a dance school located in the Cabbagetown neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Established in 1968, the School today runs under the Artistic Direction of Patricia Fraser and is a national leader for performing arts education, at the forefront of training in contemporary dance.

Cabbagetown is a neighbourhood in central Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Administratively, it is defined as part of the Cabbagetown-South St. Jamestown neighbourhood. It largely features semi-detached Victorian houses and is recognized as "the largest continuous area of preserved Victorian housing in all of North America", according to the Cabbagetown Preservation Association. Cabbagetown's name derives from the Irish immigrants who moved to the neighbourhood beginning in the late 1840s, said to have been so poor that they grew cabbage in their front yards. Canadian writer Hugh Garner's novel, Cabbagetown, depicted life in the neighbourhood during the Great Depression.

The Alternative Pupil Placement for Limited Expelled Students (acronym A.P.P.L.E.) is a high school located in the Cabbagetown neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is part of the Toronto Catholic District School Board program for students who are on a limited expulsion. Backed by Monsignor Fraser College, this program provides a flexible and individualized alternative setting for youth 16 years of age and older who are at risk and are experiencing halted success with the regular secondary school system.

Trefann Court is a small neighbourhood in the eastern part of downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located on the north side of Queen Street between Parliament Street and River Street. It extends north only a short distance to Shuter St.

Saint Sava Serbian Orthodox Church (Serbian: Српска православна црква Светог Саве) is a Serbian Orthodox church located in the Cabbagetown neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is dedicated to Saint Sava, the first Archbishop of the Serbian Orthodox Church. It is the first Serbian Orthodox church built in Toronto and is commonly referred to as the mother church.

Moss Park is a residential neighbourhood located in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The area known as Moss Park is typically considered to be between Jarvis Street and Parliament Street, south of Dundas Street, an area dominated by public housing projects. According to one set of boundaries of the City of Toronto, it is roughly L-shaped, bounded on the north by Carlton Street to Parliament Street, on the east by Parliament Street to Queen Street East and the Don River, on the south by Eastern Avenue and Front Street, and on the west by Jarvis Street. This larger concept of the area includes the neighbourhoods known as Corktown and the Garden District, as well as a portion of Cabbagetown.

St. Paul's Basilica is the oldest Roman Catholic congregation in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located at 83 Power Street in the Corktown neighbourhood, just east of downtown, near the intersection of Queen and Parliament streets.
