350 St Kilda Road, currently known as St. James Apartments, is a 120 m high apartment building on St Kilda Road in Melbourne, Australia. It consists of 30 floors including three basement levels. It was originally built in 1974 for the Department of Defence. The low rise building next door with nine floors (including three basement levels) was also part of the original complex. Around 1,500 staff worked in the buildings. The tower was the tallest building outside the Central business district of Melbourne when constructed, and had unsurpassed views in all directions. The residential conversion was completed in 1998, and there were later renovations.

The See Yup Temple (Chinese: 四邑關帝廟) is a heritage-listed Chinese temple located at 76 Raglan Street, South Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The current building was erected in 1866 for the See Yup Society, as the principal centre of worship and death registry of descendants from the See Yup area in Victoria. The temple is dedicated to Kuan Ti. It also contains halls to Ts'ai Sheng Yeh, the Taoist God of Wealth and to Kuanyin, the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy and Compassion. It is the oldest surviving and continuously operating Chinese temple in Australia.

Armstrong Studios, also known as Bill Armstrong's Studio and later renamed AAV (Armstrong Audio Video), is an Australian commercial recording studio located in Melbourne, Victoria. During the decade from 1965 to 1975, Armstrong Studios in South Melbourne was arguably the top independent recording studio in Australasia.

Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (VCASS), is a government-funded co-educational selective and specialist secondary day school, with speciality in the performing and visual arts, located within the Melbourne Arts Precinct in Southbank, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Founded in 1978, VCASS teaches students from Year 7 to Year 12; and has an enrolment of 370 students.Students are accepted after annual auditions and interviews. All students share academic subjects, but follow either a specialised dance, music, theatre arts or visual arts training program for half the day. The school also provides academic classes to secondary students from other institutions including the Australian Ballet School, and Gymnastics Victoria.

The Mac.Robertson Girls' High School (also known simply as Mac.Rob or MGHS) is a government-funded single-sex academically selective secondary day school, located in the Melbourne CBD, Victoria, Australia. Entry for Mac.Rob, which is operated by the Victoria Department of Education, is by competitive academic examination. It is unique in its status as a statewide provider for girls in Year Nine to Year Twelve. The equivalent for boys is its brother school, Melbourne High School. Each year, over 3,000 candidates sit the entrance examination for a total of approximately 960 places (across all four schools).

Anzac Station tram stop is a major interchange on the Melbourne tram network. It is located on St Kilda Road south of Domain Road, adjacent to Kings Domain. It is one of the busiest interchanges on the system, being used by eight tram routes. It opened in December 2022 on top of Anzac railway station as a replacement for Domain Interchange that was demolished in 2018 to allow the Metro Tunnel to be built.

Domain Interchange was a major interchange on the Melbourne tram system. At closure, it featured two island platforms with four tracks, and had dedicated turning tracks and through tracks. It was located on St Kilda Road between Domain Road and Park Street, adjacent to Kings Domain, and was one of the busiest interchanges on the system, being used by eight tram routes. The most recent structure was opened in April 2013, replacing an earlier structure built in 1986. The stop was demolished in April 2018, to facilitate the construction of Anzac railway station and a new train-tram interchange, as part of the Melbourne Metro Rail Project. A new Domain Interchange is scheduled to open on completion of the station.

Anzac railway station (originally known by the working title of Domain) is a railway station currently being built as part of the Melbourne Metro Rail Project. The station is named for the nearby Shrine of Remembrance and in honour of the Anzac spirit of service and sacrifice. It is being built using the cut-and-cover method. Construction on the station commenced in 2018. The station will open as part of the wider Metro Tunnel project in 2025.

The MacRobertson Girls’ High School buildings are a series of heritage-listed buildings constructed on the site of the Mac.Robertson Girls' High School, located on the Kings Way, in Albert Park, South Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The girls' school and the campus is named in honour of Sir Michael Macpherson Robertson after MacRobertson donated £100,000 to the State of Victoria, £40,000 of which was spent to construct the school. Norman Seabrook of Seabrook and Fildes architecture practice, designed the building after winning the state-wide design competition with his functional and modern design entry in the Inter-war Functionalist & Moderne style.: 35  Constructed in 1934 during centenary celebrations of Victoria, MacRobertson was vital to the progress of modernist architecture in Australia and essential in the strong re-emergence of the state after the economic downturn of the depression.: 34 The building was listed on the Victorian Heritage Register on 23 May 1998 due to the buildings' architectural, historic and social significance to the State of Victoria.

Malthouse Theatre is the resident theatre company of The Malthouse building in Southbank, part of the Melbourne Arts Precinct. In the 1980s it was known as the Playbox Theatre Company and was housed in the Playbox Theatre in Melbourne's CBD. A multidisciplinary contemporary theatre, Malthouse Theatre produces and/or presents many productions annually, from drama and comedy to contemporary opera, music theatre and cabaret, to contemporary dance and physical theatre. The Company regularly co-produces with local and national performing arts companies and tours nationally and internationally. In recent years, Malthouse Theatre productions that have been performed internationally include the 2019 presentation of Solaris, a new play by David Greig adapted from Stanisław Lem’s novel at The Royal Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh, as well as the 2018 presentation of Picnic at Hanging Rock, adapted by Tom Wright and directed by Matthew Lutton at the Barbican Centre in London. Recent nationally touring works include the 2019 production Wake in Fright adapted from Kenneth Cook’s novel by Declan Greene with Zahra Newman, and the record-breaking box office production of Cloudstreet adapted by Nick Enright and Justin Monjo from the novel by Tim Winton.

The Repatriation Commission Outpatient Clinic at 310 St Kilda Road, Melbourne, Australia, is an Art Deco building of architectural and historical significance as the only remaining Repatriation Commission Outpatient Clinic or Commonwealth building built for the health and wellbeing of the original ANZACs (i.e., World War I veterans). Significantly the building was constructed for the ANZACs of World War I nearly 20 years after the end of the war. The clinic subsequently supported the wellbeing of veterans of World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War. The Australian veteran community consider it a sacred place due to the connection to the suffering of veterans returned from those wars.

The Butterfly Club is a performing arts venue in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Drawing from a growing interest in cabaret, the club was conceived and created by artist and entrepreneur, Matthew Grant. Grant lived and worked from the building from 1993, opening it to the public in 1999. Grant sold the club in November 2003. By 2006 the club was Melbourne's only full-time cabaret venue.The Butterfly Club has presented more than 1,000 new works, with performers including Tim Minchin and Eddie Perfect. Under the stewardship of David Read and Neville Sice, over eight years, the venue became sustainable using an arts model which doesn't rely on public subsidy.The club, together with the Australian National Academy of Music, has played a role in developing the Melbourne Cabaret Festival. In January 2011. The Butterfly Club again changed hands to new director, Simone Pulga.In December 2012, The Butterfly Club announced a planned relocation to a building on Carson Pl. In conjunction with this relocation, a fundraising effort through crowdfunding and social media campaigns, as well as media coverage, was launched under the tagline 'Save The Butterfly Club.' Following the relocation, The Butterfly Club began trading from its new home, in the Melbourne CBD, in February 2013.
