Käerjeng

Fingig (Luxembourgish: Féngeg German: Féingig ) is a small town in the commune of Käerjeng, in western Luxembourg. As of 2022, the town has a population of 506. Nearby is the source of the Eisch.

Stade um Bëchel is a football stadium in Hautcharage, in south-western Luxembourg. It is currently the home stadium of UN Käerjeng 97. The stadium has a capacity of 1,000.

Bascharage (French: [bɑʃaʁaʒ]; Luxembourgish: Nidderkäerjeng [ˈnidɐˌkɛːɐ̯ʒeŋ]; German: Niederkerschen) is a town and a former commune in south-western Luxembourg. Since 2012, it is part of the commune of Käerjeng.

On 1 January 2012 the existing communes of Bascharage and Clemency with its main city Clemency with a population of 1832 were merged into one commune named Käerjeng. Clemency was assigned as the capital of the merged commune. The law creating the commune of Käerjeng was passed on 24 May 2011.

Clemency (Luxembourgish: Kënzeg, German: Küntzig) is a town and a former commune in south-western Luxembourg. Since 2012, it is part of the commune of Käerjeng. It is part of the canton of Capellen, which is part of the district of Luxembourg. As of 2022, the town of Clemency, which lies in the south-west of the former commune, has a population of 2,013. Clemency is a rural community close to the Belgian border.

Clemency Castle (French: Château de Clemency, German: Schloss Küntzig Luxembourgish: Schlass Kënzeg) is located in the little town of Clemency which is close to the Belgian border in south-eastern Luxembourg. The small residential castle adjacent to the church was built in the 1660s in the Renaissance style. It had fallen into disrepair but was fully renovated in 2009 and is occasionally open to the public.

Commune of Clemency was a former commune in Luxembourg. Its main city was Clemency with a population of 1832. The law creating the commune of Käerjeng was passed on 24 May 2011. On 1 January 2012 the existing communes of Clemency and Bascharage with its main city the same named Bascharage were merged into one commune named Käerjeng. Bascharage was assigned as capital of the merged commune.

Bascharage-Sanem railway station (Luxembourgish: Gare Nidderkäerjéng-Suessem, French: Gare de Bascharage-Sanem, German: Bahnhof Niederkerschen-Sassenheim) is a railway station serving the towns of Bascharage and Sanem, in the south-west of Luxembourg. It is operated by Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois, the state-owned railway company. The station is situated on Line 70, which connects the south-west of the country to Luxembourg City.

Pétange (French pronunciation: [petɑ̃ʒ]; Luxembourgish: Péiteng [ˈpəɪteŋ] ; German: Petingen [ˈpeːtɪŋən]) is a commune and town in south-western Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Esch-sur-Alzette. Pétange lies on the borders with both Belgium and France. As of 2007, the town of Pétange, which lies in the north of the commune, has a population of 7,399. Other towns within the commune include Lamadelaine and Rodange. The commune is one of the smallest communes of Luxembourg, yet is the fifth-most populous. It is the most-populous commune without city status.

Pétange railway station (Luxembourgish: Gare Péiteng, French: Gare de Pétange, German: Bahnhof Petingen) is a railway station serving Pétange, in south-western Luxembourg. It is operated by Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois, the state-owned railway company. The station is the main terminus of Line 60, which connects Luxembourg City to the Red Lands of the south of the country. It is also located on Line 70, which connects Luxembourg City to the south-west, continuing to Athus in Belgium and Longwy in France. The station was created as the main hub of the Prince Henri Railway. Adjacent to the CFL station is a platform served by Train 1900. From here the line runs up the hill to Fond-de-Gras. It originally served the region's iron mines. From 1873 until 1969, Pétange was the terminus of the Attert Line (Ligne d'Attert) which provided a direct connection to Ettelbruck.

Hivange (Luxembourgish: Héiweng, German: Hivingen) is a village in the commune of Garnich, in western Luxembourg. As of 2001, the village has a population of 117. Nearby is the source of the Mamer.
