Bascharage-Sanem railway station

Sanem (Luxembourgish: Suessem [ˈzuəsəm] ; German: Sassenheim) is a commune and town in south-western Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Esch-sur-Alzette. The administrative centre and largest town is Belvaux. As of 2005, the town of Sanem, which lies in the north of the commune, has a population of 2,397. Other towns within the commune include Belvaux, Ehlerange, and Soleuvre.

Bascharage (French: [bɑʃaʁaʒ]; Luxembourgish: Nidderkäerjeng [ˈnidɐˌkɛːɐ̯ʒeŋ]; German: Niederkerschen) is a town and a former commune in south-western Luxembourg. Since 2012, it is part of the commune of Käerjeng.

Sanem Castle (French: Château de Sanem, Luxembourgish: Schlass Suessem), located in the village of Sanem near Esch-sur-Alzette in south-western Luxembourg has a history dating back to the 13th century. Today's building was completed in 1557 after the medieval castle had been partly destroyed. The castle still maintains much of its original character.

Stade um Bëchel is a football stadium in Hautcharage, in south-western Luxembourg. It is currently the home stadium of UN Käerjeng 97. The stadium has a capacity of 1,000.

Stade Jos Haupert is a football stadium in Niederkorn, in southwestern Luxembourg. It is currently the home stadium of FC Progrès Niederkorn. The stadium has a capacity of 2,800.

Soleuvre (Luxembourgish: Zolwer, pronounced [ˈtsolvɐ], German: Zolwer) is a town in the commune of Sanem, in the canton of Esch-sur-Alzette in south-western Luxembourg. As of 2009, the town has a population of 5,471. In 2001, Soleuvre was the fourteenth-largest town in Luxembourg, and the largest that is not the most populous in its own commune (Sanem's administrative centre, Belvaux, is larger).

Zolwerknapp (German: Zolver Knapp) is a hill in the commune of Sanem, in south-western Luxembourg. It is 422 metres (1,385 ft) tall, and lies just to the north-west of Soleuvre (Zolwer in Luxembourgish and German, hence the name of the hill.

Commune of Bascharage was a former commune in Luxembourg. Its main city was Bascharage with a population of 5387. On 1 January 2012 the existing communes of Bascharage and Clemency with its main city Clemency with a population of 1832 were merged into one commune named Käerjeng. Clemency was assigned as the capital of the merged commune. The law creating the commune of Käerjeng was passed on 24 May 2011.

Schouweiler (Luxembourgish: Schuller) is a small town in the commune of Dippach, in south-western Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 1,071. It is the administrative centre of Dippach commune.

Niederkorn (Luxembourgish: Nidderkuer) is a town in the commune of Differdange, in south-western Luxembourg, on the Chiers river (German: Korn), from which it takes its name. As of March 31, 2020, the town has a population of 7,272.Niederkorn is home to FC Progrès Niederkorn, a football team in Luxembourg's National Division. A new hospital, the "Hôpital Princesse Marie-Astrid", built between January 2003 and June 2007, is located in Niederkorn . The #1 TICE bus connects Niederkorn with Differdange, Belvaux and Esch-sur-Alzette. Niederkorn is connected to Luxembourg City via a train line that stops in Berchem, Bettembourg, Noertzange, Schifflange, Esch-sur-Alzette, Belval Université, Belval Redange, Belvaux Soleuvre, Oberkorn, and Differdange, before arriving in either Athus or Rodange. Students attending Miami University Dolibois European Center are housed with families in Niederkorn, as it is a 10-minute bus ride from the chateau. Niederkorn is the birthplace of Tessy Antony, ex-wife of Prince Louis of Luxembourg.

Käerjeng (Luxembourgish pronunciation: [ˈkɛːɐ̯ʒeŋ]) is a commune in southwestern Luxembourg, in the canton of Capellen. It lies on the border with Belgium. It has an area of 33.67 km2. The commune of Käerjeng was formed on 1 January 2012 from the former communes of Bascharage and Clemency. The law creating Käerjeng was passed on 24 May 2011.With a population of approximately 10,000 citizens, Käerjeng is the 10th most-populous commune in Luxembourg.

Schouweiler railway station (Luxembourgish: Gare Schuller, French: Gare de Schouweiler, German: Bahnhof Schouweiler) is a railway station serving Schouweiler, in the commune of Dippach, in south-western Luxembourg. It is operated by Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois, the state-owned railway company. The station is situated on Line 70, which connects the south-west of the country to Luxembourg City.
