Clemency, Luxembourg

Clemency Castle (French: Château de Clemency, German: Schloss Küntzig Luxembourgish: Schlass Kënzeg) is located in the little town of Clemency which is close to the Belgian border in south-eastern Luxembourg. The small residential castle adjacent to the church was built in the 1660s in the Renaissance style. It had fallen into disrepair but was fully renovated in 2009 and is occasionally open to the public.

Commune of Clemency was a former commune in Luxembourg. Its main city was Clemency with a population of 1832. The law creating the commune of Käerjeng was passed on 24 May 2011. On 1 January 2012 the existing communes of Clemency and Bascharage with its main city the same named Bascharage were merged into one commune named Käerjeng. Bascharage was assigned as capital of the merged commune.

Fingig (Luxembourgish: Féngeg German: Féingig ) is a small town in the commune of Käerjeng, in western Luxembourg. As of 2022, the town has a population of 506. Nearby is the source of the Eisch.

Käerjeng (Luxembourgish pronunciation: [ˈkɛːɐ̯ʒeŋ]) is a commune in southwestern Luxembourg, in the canton of Capellen. It lies on the border with Belgium. It has an area of 33.67 km2. The commune of Käerjeng was formed on 1 January 2012 from the former communes of Bascharage and Clemency. The law creating Käerjeng was passed on 24 May 2011.With a population of approximately 10,000 citizens, Käerjeng is the 10th most-populous commune in Luxembourg.

Pétange (French pronunciation: [petɑ̃ʒ]; Luxembourgish: Péiteng [ˈpəɪteŋ] ; German: Petingen [ˈpeːtɪŋən]) is a commune and town in south-western Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Esch-sur-Alzette. Pétange lies on the borders with both Belgium and France. As of 2007, the town of Pétange, which lies in the north of the commune, has a population of 7,399. Other towns within the commune include Lamadelaine and Rodange. The commune is one of the smallest communes of Luxembourg, yet is the fifth-most populous. It is the most-populous commune without city status.

Pétange railway station (Luxembourgish: Gare Péiteng, French: Gare de Pétange, German: Bahnhof Petingen) is a railway station serving Pétange, in south-western Luxembourg. It is operated by Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois, the state-owned railway company. The station is the main terminus of Line 60, which connects Luxembourg City to the Red Lands of the south of the country. It is also located on Line 70, which connects Luxembourg City to the south-west, continuing to Athus in Belgium and Longwy in France. The station was created as the main hub of the Prince Henri Railway. Adjacent to the CFL station is a platform served by Train 1900. From here the line runs up the hill to Fond-de-Gras. It originally served the region's iron mines. From 1873 until 1969, Pétange was the terminus of the Attert Line (Ligne d'Attert) which provided a direct connection to Ettelbruck.

Stade Municipal is a football stadium in Pétange, in south-western Luxembourg. It is currently the home stadium of Union Titus Pétange. The stadium has a capacity of 2,400.

It is operated by Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois, the state-owned railway company. The station is situated on Line 70, which connects the south-west of the country to Luxembourg City.

Longeau (Luxembourgish: Laser) is a village of Wallonia in the municipality and district of Messancy, located in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium.
