Ardrey Kell High School is a public high school serving grades 9–12 in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. The school is part of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools district.

Elon Park is a 118-acre urban park at 11401 Ardrey Kell Road in Charlotte, North Carolina. It has a recreation center with a gym, classrooms, and a game room. The park features a playground, soccer and softball fields, a fishing pond, and a walking trail. Elon Park contains two disc golf courses, one for advanced players. Adjacent to Elon Park is Elon Park Elementary School

The James A. Blakeney House is a historic house located near Providence, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. It was built in 1905–1906, and is a two-story, three-bay, Colonial Revival style frame farmhouse with a one-story rear kitchen wing. It has a multiple cross-gable slate roof and a broad hip roofed wraparound porch. Also on the property is a contributing well house.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 18, 1998.

Indian Land is an unincorporated community in the northernmost part (the "Panhandle") of Lancaster County, South Carolina, United States. It lies six miles east of Fort Mill, and west of the villages of Marvin and Waxhaw, North Carolina. While not incorporated, the community is assigned with the ZIP code 29707. U.S. Highway 521 is a major highway that runs through the community and connects Indian Land with cities in North Carolina, and Lancaster County to the south. Indian Land does not have a downtown.

Green Morris Farm was a historic home, farm, and national historic district located near Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The district encompassed two contributing buildings and one contributing site in rural Mecklenburg County. The farmhouse was built about 1870, and was a two-story, three-bay I-house with two one-story rear additions. It had a hipped roof and blend of vernacular Greek Revival / Italianate style design elements. The front facade featured a one-story, facade-width porch topped by a center-bay balcony. Other contributing resources were a machinery shed (c. 1920) and the agricultural landscape. It has been demolished. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

St. Matthew Catholic Church is a parish of the Roman Catholic Church in the Ballantyne neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina, in the Diocese of Charlotte. As of 2017, it is the largest Catholic parish in the United States, with over 10,500 registered families.

The Big Rock Nature Preserve is a nature preserve and park with a natural rock shelter in Charlotte, North Carolina. Big Rock is known for its "very big and quite significant rocks" which are the largest known exposed boulders in Mecklenburg County. The eponymous rocks are part of a granite pluton and form a natural rock shelter with archaeological evidence of human use dating to 5500 BC.

Marvin Ridge High School (commonly Marvin, Marvin Ridge, or MRHS) is a public high school in Marvin, North Carolina, USA serving students in grades 9–12. The school is part of the Union County Public School system. The school occupies a two-story building with a full auditorium and fully air-conditioned gym. Admission is based primarily on the location of students' homes and district lines. Marvin Ridge High was ranked 1st among the 300–399 cohort size for having a 99.3 percent graduation rate in North Carolina. It is ranked the 275th best high school in the country in 2017 by U.S. News & World Report.

John Washington McKinney House was a historic home located near Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The I-house was built in the 1870s, and was remodeled in the Colonial Revival style about 1916. It was a two-story, double pile farmhouse with a slate hipped roof and one-story rear kitchen ell. Also on the property were a contributing wellhouse / dairy (c. 1916) and smokehouse (c. 1916). It has been demolished. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
