Laurelhurst Park is a city park in the neighborhood of Laurelhurst in Portland, Oregon. The 26.81-acre (10.85 ha) park was acquired in 1909 from the estate of former Portland mayor William S. Ladd. The City of Portland purchased the land in 1911, and the following year park superintendent Emanuel Mische designed the park in accordance with the Olmsted Plan. In 1919, the Pacific Coast Parks Association named Laurelhurst Park the "most beautiful park" on the West Coast, and in February 2001 it was the first city park ever to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places.The park costs the city approximately $274,000 per year to maintain.

The H. Russell Albee House is a dwelling in southeast Portland in the U.S. state of Oregon that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A Colonial Revival structure built in 1912 for future Portland mayor H. Russell Albee, it was added to the register in 1992.

Bitar Mansion, also known as Harry A. Green House or the Harry A. and Ada Green House, is a mansion in the Laurelhurst neighborhood of Portland, Oregon, United States. The 12,000-square-foot (1,100 m2) and 17-room structure was designed by architect Herman Brookman and built in 1927 for $410,000, equivalent to $6.4 million today. The Mediterranean-style house contains a grand ballroom and many elaborate details. The mansion has views of the Tualatin Mountains and adjacent Laurelhurst Park. Robert and Mable Bitar purchased the house in 1951. Robert later became an honorary consul to Lebanon and lived in the mansion until his death in 2000. The house went on the real estate market for the first time in 55 years in 2006 and was purchased in December 2006 for $1.825 million. As of 2011, the house remains the most expensive home sold in southeast Portland. The house was put on the market again and is up for auction in August 2011.

The Paul C. Murphy House is a 2.5-story residence in southeast Portland, in the U.S. state of Oregon. Built in 1916 in the English Cottage style, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.Designed by Ellis F. Lawrence, the house has a floor plan of about 50 by 26 feet (15.2 by 7.9 m). Its interior has formal living spaces on the ground floor, bedrooms on the second floor, a full attic, and a basement with a family room and tiled fireplace. Rooms on the main floor include a central hall, living room, dining room, den, kitchen, pantry, half-bath, and sun porch. On the second floor are three bedrooms, a sleeping porch, and two bathrooms. The house has a separate servants' entrance at the rear and a servants' staircase leading to a bedroom, sewing room, and bathroom in the attic. The exterior features a hipped roof, multiple gables, small gabled dormers, and a glass-enclosed porch.The home originally belonged to Paul Cole Murphy, a real-estate developer and president of the Ladd Estate Company, which was organized in 1908 to manage the properties of the locally prominent Ladd family. In 1909, Murphy and others bought a large property, Hazelfern Farm, from the Ladds and formed the Laurelhurst Company to develop Laurelhurst, a park-like residential neighborhood that includes the Murphy House. Murphy lived in this house until 1945, when he retired and moved to Santa Barbara.

The Blue Monk was a bar, music venue, and restaurant in southeast Portland, Oregon, in the United States. Upstairs featured a restaurant with an open kitchen serving mostly Italian cuisine, while downstairs hosted music performances in a variety of genres, but mostly jazz. The business closed in April 2014 after its lease was bought out by an undisclosed party.
