Calgary Montrose was a provincial electoral district in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, mandated to return a single member to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta using the first past the post method of voting from 1986 to 2012.

Rundle is a residential neighbourhood in the northeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded by 32 Avenue NE to the north, 16 Avenue NE (Trans-Canada Highway) to the south, 52 Street NE to the east and 36 Street NE to the west. The Sunridge Mall is located immediately west of the neighbourhood. Rundle is home to a large Lebanese group. Rundle was established in 1973 and was named after Robert Terrill Rundle, a missionary who worked in Western Canada in the mid-19th century. (Rundle is actually one of four communities built in the 1970s in NE Calgary. These four communities together are known as "The Properties", and all four were named after nearby mountains: Mounts Rundle, Pineridge, Whitehorn and Temple). It is bounded by McKnight Boulevard to the north, 52 Street NE to the east, 32 Avenue NE to the south and 36 Street NE to the west. The Peter Lougheed Centre is located southwest from the neighbourhood. The area was annexed by the City of Calgary in 1961 and the community was established in 1973. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 10 councillor.The community is served by the Whitehorn station of the C-Train LRT system. The postal code in this area is T1Y. Whitehorn also has a number of public schools in the area, including Annie Gale Junior High School and J. Fred Scott School for K-6.

It is bounded by 68 Street E to the east, 52 Street E to the west, Trans-Canada Highway to the north and Memorial Drive to the south. The homonymous park is located at the center of the community. The land was annexed by the City of Calgary in 1961 and Marlborough Park was established in 1972. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 10 councillor.

Created in 1993, the district is one of 87 districts mandated to return a single member (MLA) to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta using the first past the post method of voting. The district was created in the 1993 boundary redistribution from Calgary-McCall and Calgary-Montrose, and present boundaries covers the neighbourhoods of Whitehorn, Temple, Pineridge and Rundle in northeast Calgary.

It is at the eastern edge of the city, bounded by McKnight Boulevard to the north, 68 Street E to the west, Trans-Canada Highway to the south and 84 Street E (city limits) to the east. The land was annexed to the city of Calgary between 1979 and 1983, and Monterey Park was established in 1985. It was named for the city of Monterey Park, California, and the neighbourhood has a California theme (such as street names and building styles). It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 5 councillor. The area's postal code is T1Y.

Rundle Station is a CTrain light rail station in Calgary, Alberta. It is a stop on the Northeast Line (Route 202) and opened on April 27, 1985, as part of the original line. The station is located in the median of 36 Street NE, to the north of the intersection of 20 Avenue NE/Rundlehorn Drive, right in front of Sunridge Mall. The station is 8.4 km from the City Hall Interlocking. Pedestrian overpasses connect the station to both sides of 36 Street NE. Stairs, escalators, as well as an elevator provide access down to the centre-loading platform. The station serves Rundle and the Sunridge Mall with 350 parking spaces are included across the station. As part of Calgary Transit's plan to operate 4-car trains by the end of 2014, all 3-car platforms are being extended. In addition to a platform extension, Rundle station had upgraded station furnishings installed. Construction was completed in Fall 2013.In 2005, the station registered and average transit of 11,600 boardings per weekday.On January 20, 1993, a 4-year-old child, Michael MacIntosh, got his jacket sleeve stuck at the bottom of the escalator after straying from his family. Bystanders helped him stay conscious until paramedics arrived and free his injured left arm, this was later seen on Rescue 911 on May 4, 1993, on CBS.
