Mook en Middelaar (Dutch: [ˈmoːk ɛn ˈmɪdəlaːr] (listen); Limburgish: Mook en Middelar) is a municipality in the upper southeastern part of the Netherlands, at the northern tip of the province of Limburg and is a part of Stadsregio Arnhem Nijmegen. The municipality is located about 100 km from provincial capital Maastricht and has an area of 18.81 km2 (7.26 sq mi) of which 1.43 km2 (0.55 sq mi) is water.

Mook-Molenhoek is a railway station in the southeastern Netherlands, in Molenhoek. The station originally opened on 1 June 1883 and is located on the Maaslijn (Nijmegen–Venlo). The station closed between 15 May 1938 and 15 May 1940 and finally closed on 1 October 1940. The station was re-opened on 6 May 2009. The services are currently operated by Arriva. The station first opened as Mook, but was renamed to Mook-Middelaar in 1891 and to Mook-Molenhoek in 2009. The original station had a station building, but this was demolished in 1975 and has not been replaced.

Cuijk (Dutch pronunciation: [kœyk] (listen)) is a former municipality in upper southeastern Netherlands. Cuijk, Boxmeer, Grave, Mill en Sint Hubert, and Sint Anthonis merged into the new municipality of Land van Cuijk on 1 January 2022. The former municipality of Cuijk was established by combining the municipalities of Cuijk en Sint Agatha, Beers and Haps in 1994.

Cuijk (; dialect: Kuuk) is a town in the northeastern part of the province of North Brabant, Netherlands. It is the successor of a Roman settlement on the west bank of the Meuse, 13 km (8.1 mi) south of Nijmegen. Cuijk, which had a population of 18,170 as of 2020, was the centre of an eponymous municipality, which ceased to exist on 1 January 2022, when it was replaced by the larger Land van Cuijk municipality.

Cuijk en Sint Agatha is a former municipality in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It covered the villages of Cuijk and Sint Agatha. On September 4, 1315, a document mentioned a kapel van Sint Agatha onder Kuycbrockele. The Crosier Monastery was founded around 1371. Sint Agatha functioned as an independent village, until it was added to the municipality of Cuijk in 1810, after which the municipality was called Cuijk en Sint Agatha. Cuijk en Sint Agatha merged in 1994 with Beers and Haps, to form the new municipality "Cuijk". Since 2022 Cuijk has been part of the new municipality of Land van Cuijk. The Monastery of Saint Agatha was founded around 1371. Many missionaries were trained in this monastery, which is the oldest inhabited monastery in the Netherlands.In June 2006, after a renovation of the monastery, some rooms were taken into use by the Erfgoedcentrum Nederlands Kloosterleven (EDK) (Heritage Centre for Dutch Monastic Life), which houses the heritage collections of many monastic communities. The Centre chiefly houses monastic archive documents, but also preserves and provides access to related books and artefacts. The Order of the Holy Cross themselves also house their heritage collections in Saint Agatha.

Plasmolen (Limburgish: De Plasmeule) is a village in the municipality of Mook en Middelaar, in the province of Limburg in the Netherlands. It is situated between the Meuse (river) and the Municipality Groesbeek. The town is situated in a moraine landscape, the St. Jansberg is an example of this. The "St. Jansberg" is a unique hiking area, located on the moraine. The area covers approximately 250 hectares and is owned by Natuurmonumenten. The Pieterpad runs through this area. The 'Bovenste Plasmolen', a watermill dating from 1725, but probably older and the remains of the largest Roman villa ever found in the Netherlands are in this area. The villa was discovered in 1931 and is probably from the 2nd century AD.

Heikant is a hamlet in the municipality of Mook en Middelaar, in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located about 1 km north of Middelaar.

Malden is a town in the Dutch municipality of Heumen, Gelderland. Malden is situated straight to the south of the City of Nijmegen. Malden is also home to the town hall of Heumen. Malden's football club is called SV Juliana '31.

Le Marron is a defunct restaurant in Malden, Netherlands. It is a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 2007 and retained that rating until 2014.The owner and head chef of Le Marron is Ysbrandt Wermenbol, who opened the restaurant in 2005.In 2013, GaultMillau awarded the restaurant 16 out of 20 points.The restaurant closed on 25 October 2014.

Berg en Dal (literally in English: Mountain and Valley) is a municipality in the eastern Netherlands, in the province of Gelderland. It was formed through a merger of the municipalities of Groesbeek, Millingen aan de Rijn and Ubbergen in 2015. The resulting larger municipality maintained the name of Groesbeek until 2016, when it was renamed to Berg en Dal after the village of Berg en Dal.Berg en Dal has about 34,714 inhabitants and covers an area of about 93 km². The municipality borders in the north on the Waal river and the Bijlands Kanaal, in the east on the German forest of the Reichswald, in the south on the province of Limburg, in the southwest on the forest of the Mookerheide (also Limburg), and in the west on the city of Nijmegen. Berg en Dal is slightly hilly with altitudes reaching the 75 meters, like the Duivelsberg. The International Four Days Marches Nijmegen crosses the municipality on the 3rd day (Day of Groesbeek).
