Cuijk railway station

Cuijk (; dialect: Kuuk) is a town in the northeastern part of the province of North Brabant, Netherlands. It is the successor of a Roman settlement on the west bank of the Meuse, 13 km (8.1 mi) south of Nijmegen. Cuijk, which had a population of 18,170 as of 2020, was the centre of an eponymous municipality, which ceased to exist on 1 January 2022, when it was replaced by the larger Land van Cuijk municipality.

Cuijk (Dutch pronunciation: [kœyk] (listen)) is a former municipality in upper southeastern Netherlands. Cuijk, Boxmeer, Grave, Mill en Sint Hubert, and Sint Anthonis merged into the new municipality of Land van Cuijk on 1 January 2022. The former municipality of Cuijk was established by combining the municipalities of Cuijk en Sint Agatha, Beers and Haps in 1994.

Cuijk en Sint Agatha is a former municipality in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It covered the villages of Cuijk and Sint Agatha. On September 4, 1315, a document mentioned a kapel van Sint Agatha onder Kuycbrockele. The Crosier Monastery was founded around 1371. Sint Agatha functioned as an independent village, until it was added to the municipality of Cuijk in 1810, after which the municipality was called Cuijk en Sint Agatha. Cuijk en Sint Agatha merged in 1994 with Beers and Haps, to form the new municipality "Cuijk". Since 2022 Cuijk has been part of the new municipality of Land van Cuijk. The Monastery of Saint Agatha was founded around 1371. Many missionaries were trained in this monastery, which is the oldest inhabited monastery in the Netherlands.In June 2006, after a renovation of the monastery, some rooms were taken into use by the Erfgoedcentrum Nederlands Kloosterleven (EDK) (Heritage Centre for Dutch Monastic Life), which houses the heritage collections of many monastic communities. The Centre chiefly houses monastic archive documents, but also preserves and provides access to related books and artefacts. The Order of the Holy Cross themselves also house their heritage collections in Saint Agatha.

Mook en Middelaar (Dutch: [ˈmoːk ɛn ˈmɪdəlaːr] (listen); Limburgish: Mook en Middelar) is a municipality in the upper southeastern part of the Netherlands, at the northern tip of the province of Limburg and is a part of Stadsregio Arnhem Nijmegen. The municipality is located about 100 km from provincial capital Maastricht and has an area of 18.81 km2 (7.26 sq mi) of which 1.43 km2 (0.55 sq mi) is water.

Mook War Cemetery is the final resting place of 322 soldiers killed in the Second World War, situated in the Dutch municipality of Mook en Middelaar. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission is responsible for the cemetery.It features a Cross of Sacrifice at the cemetery entrance made of Portland stone, with a metal sword. A register and a guest book are present. The 322 burials are from the following countries: United Kingdom – 297 Poland – 11 Canada – 10 Australia – 3 New Zealand – 1

Mook-Molenhoek is a railway station in the southeastern Netherlands, in Molenhoek. The station originally opened on 1 June 1883 and is located on the Maaslijn (Nijmegen–Venlo). The station closed between 15 May 1938 and 15 May 1940 and finally closed on 1 October 1940. The station was re-opened on 6 May 2009. The services are currently operated by Arriva. The station first opened as Mook, but was renamed to Mook-Middelaar in 1891 and to Mook-Molenhoek in 2009. The original station had a station building, but this was demolished in 1975 and has not been replaced.

Haps is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the former municipality of Cuijk, about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) south of the town of Cuijk. Since 2022 it has been part of the new municipality of Land van Cuijk.

Heikant is a hamlet in the municipality of Mook en Middelaar, in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located about 1 km north of Middelaar.

Beers (Brabants: Bèèrs) is a village in the former Dutch municipality of Cuijk. It is located about 4 km west of Cuijk. Since 2022 it has been part of the new municipality of Land van Cuijk. Beers has a population of about 1721: 1305 in the village itself, and 416 in the surrounding countryside, including the hamlets De Plaats and Dommelsvoort.Until 1994, Beers was a separate municipality.

Linden is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the former municipality of Cuijk, about 10 km south of Nijmegen.

Plasmolen (Limburgish: De Plasmeule) is a village in the municipality of Mook en Middelaar, in the province of Limburg in the Netherlands. It is situated between the Meuse (river) and the Municipality Groesbeek. The town is situated in a moraine landscape, the St. Jansberg is an example of this. The "St. Jansberg" is a unique hiking area, located on the moraine. The area covers approximately 250 hectares and is owned by Natuurmonumenten. The Pieterpad runs through this area. The 'Bovenste Plasmolen', a watermill dating from 1725, but probably older and the remains of the largest Roman villa ever found in the Netherlands are in this area. The villa was discovered in 1931 and is probably from the 2nd century AD.
