Olof-Palme-Allee is the final stop on the Bonn Stammstrecke in Germany. Lines 66 and 68 beyond that point do not continue to Bad Godesberg, but on the Siebengebirgsbahn towards Ramersdorf and Bad Honnef.

The Bundeseisenbahnvermögen (BEV) is a special authority of the Federal Republic of Germany. It was called into existence by the Eisenbahnneuordnungsgesetz (ENeuOG; Railway Re-organisation Act) dated December 27, 1993. With its current budget of €7.7 billion, it is administered by the Federal Transport Ministry and the Federal Finance Ministry. The BEV is the superior authority of all civil servants formerly belonging to the Deutsche Bundesbahn and the Deutsche Reichsbahn. It also is responsible for the pension handling of about 400,000 former railway employees and manages the railway servant health insurance fund. Its head offices are located in Bonn, while several regional offices can be found all over Germany, divided by the region they serve: East (Berlin), Central (Frankfurt am Main with branch in Saarbrücken), North (Hanover with branch in Hamburg), South West (Karlsruhe with branch in Stuttgart), West (Köln with branch in Essen) and Southern Germany (Munich with branch in Nuremberg). 138 people are employed at the BEV's head office, 791 at the various branches. Including civil-servants delegated to the Deutsche Bahn AG to serve in their former positions, the BEV has (2020) a staff of about 1,900.Until his death on December 5, 2006 the president of the BEV was Rolf Heine. Since August 1, 2009, Marie-Theres Nonn is president of the BEV.

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (German: Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, pronounced [ˈbʊndəsminɪsˌteːʁiʊm fyːɐ̯ ˈbɪldʊŋ ʊnt ˈfɔʁʃʊŋ] (listen)), abbreviated BMBF, is a cabinet-level ministry of Germany. It is headquartered in Bonn, with an office in Berlin. The Ministry provides funding for research projects and institutions (aiming for "research excellence") and sets general educational policy. It also provides student loans in Germany. However, a large part of educational policy in Germany is decided at the state level, strongly limiting the influence of the ministry in educational matters.

The Philatelic Archive in Bonn (German: Archiv für Philatelie) is a philatelic museum in Bonn, Germany. The Philatelic Archive in Bonn is operated by the Museum Foundation Post and telecommunications. The museum documents the history of philately of the first postage stamps in Germany to the latest specials stamps. The collection includes not only valuable rarities and freshly printed new editions but also has original designs, rehearsal prints, stationery, printing block and much more. One of the most famous exhibits is a copy of the Blue Mauritius. The core of the archive is the so-called "General Collection", which today has more than 800 albums. The general objective of the collection is to house every stamp ever published. The museum has a sheet copy of the Yellow Cathedral postage stamp insured for one million euros.

The Russian Consulate School in Bonn (full official name: Secondary School with extended foreign language teaching of the General Consulate of Russia in Bonn, Russian: Средняя общеобразовательная школа с углубленным изучением иностранного языка Генерального консульства России в Бонне) is one of two Russian state-owned international schools in Germany along with the Russian Embassy School in Berlin. The school was established in 1981 as a primary school of the Soviet embassy in West Germany. In 1986, the school was reorganized into a combined primary secondary school for children of the staff of the Soviet embassy in Bonn, the Soviet trade representation in Cologne, and the embassies of socialist Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria and Mongolia.After the dissolution of the USSR, the school was transferred to the newly established Embassy of Russia in Germany along with other former Soviet diplomatic property. After the relocation of the embassy from Bonn to Berlin, the school became part of the Russian consulate in Bonn which remained in the former Soviet and Russian embassy compound.

Ollenhauerstraße is one of the stations located at the Deutsche Telekom Building. This station is served by the Bonn Stadtbahn.

The Gustav Stresemann Institute (GSI) is a registered charity and an independent, non-partisan and non-profit institution of civic education. The GSI is in the Bonn neighborhood of Hochkreuz, and operates a conference center with a conference hotel as a European meeting and education center. It sees itself as a modern center for education, discussion, and meeting and a meeting place for people from all over the world. There are 1,400 events with more than 50,000 overnight stays per year including conferences, symposia, conferences, workshops and seminars on a wide range of subjects.

Hochkreuz is a Bonn Stadtbahn station served by lines 16, 63 and 67. It is located on the Bad Godesberg branch, the next four stops are underground, including the terminus. This station is located near the High Cross.

The Military Music Center of the Bundeswehr (German: Zentrum Militärmusik der Bundeswehr, ZMilMusBw) is the office in charge of managing the military bands of the Bundeswehr. It was established on 25 August 2009 as part of a restructuring of the Bundeswehr, to replace the specialist branch of service that existed for military musicians before it. Order The Central Task of The Center, is the functional management of all Ensembles of the Bundeswehr as well as the expert advice of the Ministry of Defence(MoD)in Military Music Matters. In addition, controls and plans to the stakes of all Bundeswehr Units, both domestically and abroad. It is also responsible for Approving the Music Production by Members of the Armed Forces.

The destruction of the Oberstift, which included Linz, Ahrweiler, and other small towns and villages, occurred in the opening months of the Cologne War, from Christmas Day, 1582 until the end of March, 1583. Over these few weeks, armies of the competing archbishops of Cologne burned the southernmost villages, cloisters, and small towns. In the Cologne War (1583–1589) two men competed for control of the Electorate of Cologne and sought to control one of the wealthiest Electorates in the Holy Roman Empire. Their contest lasted until 1589, when Gebhard Truchsess von Waldburg renounced his claim and moved to Strassbourg; Ernst of Bavaria became uncontested Prince elector of Cologne, the first Wittelsbach to hold the position; his family maintained their hold on it until 1761. Under his direction, Jesuits introduced the Counter-Reformation to the north-western German states and under the leadership of his successors, these territories remained a Catholic stronghold until the late eighteenth century.

Kunst- und Ausstellungshalle der Bundesrepublik Deutschland (Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany) is one of the most visited museums in Germany. Known as the Bundeskunsthalle for short, it is part of the so-called "Museum Mile" in Bonn. It holds exhibitions relating to art and cultural history from around the world. The museum is backed by the Federal Government and the States of Germany. The museum's director is Eva Kraus, a position she has held since 1 August 2020. Construction of the museum started in 1989 and was completed in 1992. The museum is located next to the Bonn Museum of Modern Art.
