The Bundeseisenbahnvermögen (BEV) is a special authority of the Federal Republic of Germany. It was called into existence by the Eisenbahnneuordnungsgesetz (ENeuOG; Railway Re-organisation Act) dated December 27, 1993. With its current budget of €7.7 billion, it is administered by the Federal Transport Ministry and the Federal Finance Ministry. The BEV is the superior authority of all civil servants formerly belonging to the Deutsche Bundesbahn and the Deutsche Reichsbahn. It also is responsible for the pension handling of about 400,000 former railway employees and manages the railway servant health insurance fund. Its head offices are located in Bonn, while several regional offices can be found all over Germany, divided by the region they serve: East (Berlin), Central (Frankfurt am Main with branch in Saarbrücken), North (Hanover with branch in Hamburg), South West (Karlsruhe with branch in Stuttgart), West (Köln with branch in Essen) and Southern Germany (Munich with branch in Nuremberg). 138 people are employed at the BEV's head office, 791 at the various branches. Including civil-servants delegated to the Deutsche Bahn AG to serve in their former positions, the BEV has (2020) a staff of about 1,900.Until his death on December 5, 2006 the president of the BEV was Rolf Heine. Since August 1, 2009, Marie-Theres Nonn is president of the BEV.

The Philatelic Archive in Bonn (German: Archiv für Philatelie) is a philatelic museum in Bonn, Germany. The Philatelic Archive in Bonn is operated by the Museum Foundation Post and telecommunications. The museum documents the history of philately of the first postage stamps in Germany to the latest specials stamps. The collection includes not only valuable rarities and freshly printed new editions but also has original designs, rehearsal prints, stationery, printing block and much more. One of the most famous exhibits is a copy of the Blue Mauritius. The core of the archive is the so-called "General Collection", which today has more than 800 albums. The general objective of the collection is to house every stamp ever published. The museum has a sheet copy of the Yellow Cathedral postage stamp insured for one million euros.

The Military Music Center of the Bundeswehr (German: Zentrum Militärmusik der Bundeswehr, ZMilMusBw) is the office in charge of managing the military bands of the Bundeswehr. It was established on 25 August 2009 as part of a restructuring of the Bundeswehr, to replace the specialist branch of service that existed for military musicians before it. The Gustav Stresemann Institute (GSI) is a registered charity and an independent, non-partisan and non-profit institution of civic education. The GSI is in the Bonn neighborhood of Hochkreuz, and operates a conference center with a conference hotel as a European meeting and education center. It sees itself as a modern center for education, discussion, and meeting and a meeting place for people from all over the world. There are 1,400 events with more than 50,000 overnight stays per year including conferences, symposia, conferences, workshops and seminars on a wide range of subjects.

Max-Löbner-Straße is one of the 6 stations on the Bad Godesberg, Germany branch of Cologne Stadtbahn line 16 and the Bonn Stadtbahn all-day line 63 and peak hour line 67.

Olof-Palme-Allee is the final stop on the Bonn Stammstrecke in Germany. Lines 66 and 68 beyond that point do not continue to Bad Godesberg, but on the Siebengebirgsbahn towards Ramersdorf and Bad Honnef.

It holds the concession for the vast majority of motorway service areas and associated filling stations on the German Autobahn network. In addition to fuel sales, it operates or licenses restaurants, hotels and related roadside services.

Hochkreuz is a Bonn Stadtbahn station served by lines 16, 63 and 67. It is located on the Bad Godesberg branch, the next four stops are underground, including the terminus. This station is located near the High Cross.

Ollenhauerstraße is one of the stations located at the Deutsche Telekom Building. This station is served by the Bonn Stadtbahn.

The Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Bonn is the former embassy of the country to West Germany. Its current chancery was built in 1989/90, and was the penultimate purpose built construction of an embassy in Bonn before the transfer of the German government to Berlin in 1999.
